First time here since new owners or name change whichever transpired. Staff was friendly and the establishment is clean. I ordered 4 different sushi orders, wait time was average, food was fresh and good, tons of menu choices however my only real complaint is they smashed all of the 4 orders into one container which we dont like. This is our go to sushi place after work. Conveniently located. I took my kiddo there for lunch - it's an AYCE spot. Got seated right away. The staff are very attentive, lots of food options and clean. We started with crab Rangoon, minced chicken with lettuce wrap, and egg drop soup. Then for entrees, tuna lover, butterfly, sushi freedom, volcano, and Godzilla rolls. Enjoyed them, fast service and it only cost us about $50 - not bad at all for Sushi. Took 1 star due to crab Rangoon - filling was lacking.

Sushi Freedom delivers one of the better AYCE sushi experiences I've had in the area. Plenty of free parking right outside and a good amount of seating, plus a private room for families and small parties. Everything is made-to-order - fresh rolls! The sashimi was fresh and not frozen like some AYCE places. The menu has sashimi, sushi/nigiri, specialty rolls, hand rolls, and also hot items. We ordered multiple rounds of rolls and sashimi and were impressed how fresh everything tasted, especially for AYCE. They bring them out on a sushi boat when you order a lot, nice touch! I love that didn't skimp on the presentation just because it's AYCE! They just added beef and chicken teriyaki - both were solid! They even had sweet shrimp sashimi and fried whole soft shell crab for dinner service - unique eats for AYCE! Service was also efficient and friendly, keeping plates coming without rushing us. For the variety, quality, and value, Sushi Freedom is a great option when you're craving AYCE but still want more than just basic rolls like some buffets. Would definitely come back, especially with the expanding hot food options! For only $22.95 for lunch and $33.95 for dinner, it's a great value for made-to-order rolls and fresh sashimi!

Cute restaurant that has a private VIP room that can cater large party. High quality fish and seafood! Very fresh sushi! Yummy appetizers and awesome soba and perfectly cooked teriyaki for those that don't want sushi. Top it off with a wide variety of drinks - both alcoholic (delicious cocktails) and non-alcoholic beverages. Definitely bang for my bucks! All you can eat made-to-order freshness! Great service. Seated quickly and waitress keeps checking to ensure whether I want more. They definitely ensure you get your bang for your bucks.

Date of Visit: 11/30/2024 This review is a bit delayed but I went in for a solo lunch last minute. It was pretty empty, assuming it was because of the time of day that I went. It was my first time here and never had their food. Service: Customer Service was good. No complaints. When I arrived I was greeted and seated right away. My waiter and waitress came pretty quickly. My food orders came out in a pretty timely fashion. Again it was empty so I can't speak on how their timing will be at busier hours. Ordered: Entree':General Tso Chicken, Fried Rice Rating: 10/10 Appetizers: Soy Garlic Wings Rating: 10/10 The Soy Garlic wings are my fav. Since my first visit in Nov, I have been back to have dinner. I have order those Soy Garlic wings numerous times. All in all my experiences have been good and I will go back again. If you're ever in the area, check them out. FYI: They now have ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI!!!

The sushi lover in me is about to cry You mean there's a made-to-order sushi restaurant where I can try exotic rolls, sashimi, and the standard fare without a care in the world? Like I don't have to get up and go to a bar where it's been sitting for who knows how long, but sit at a lovely table and enjoy the ambiance while someone brings a boat of happiness? I can even order a beer/wine/cocktail or sake with it? To the owner, the mastermind, the one in charge...thank you. The specialty rolls we tried were the Lollipop, Twinkle Star, Caught in a Bad Romance, Kamikaze, Temptation, and Rainbow. The Lollipop Roll needs to be on your rotation if you're low-carb, and they're kind enough to serve vinaigrette on the side. It's hard to pick a favorite, but there's a video and photo attached to the review. Take a look if you can :) I'm still in awe of how fresh everything tasted. It's literally a sushi lovers dream, and the sides were good too! We got crab rangoons (the biggest ones I've ever seen), steak and cheese eggroll, and regular egg rolls. The ambiance can accommodate whatever you need. Work lunch, friendly get together, a date, even a solo meal if you desire. They served our sushi in a pretty boat with a smoky light :D Even the soy sauce was in a pretty bottle with a cork. Please put them on your rotation if you're a sushi lover. You won't be disappointed.

They have a pretty good lunch deal for all you can eat--only $22.95. Variety on the menu is good, the sushi was decent. Service was lacking, though. If you don't order everything at once you will wait ages for your server to reappear. I would have liked to try more things but didn't want to be there all day waiting. Good value, though.

I had a Saturday lunch, which includes dinner options and of course the dinner price. Spoiler alert, not worth the extra $10. Sashimi was very nice. The rice for nigiri lacks seasoning. Baby octopus salad was tender, not very complex. Soft shell crab was over battered pieces, not much crab flavor. OK, I am too accustomed to freshly steamed blue crabs. Other lunch choices worth mentioning: Fuji roll didn't meet expectations. I tried it because it claimed lump crab meat. Again, this Maryland boy has really high standards for crab. Tuna tartare is a hidden gem. Chunks of tuna and avocado in a soy/uzu vinaigrette. Very nice. Will be in the rotation. If you have room for a sweet finish, sesame balls are good. Fried dough about the size of a golf ball, rolled in sesame seeds and filled with mildly sweet red bean paste. Solid execution of this classic.

The restaurant looks exactly the same as prior restaurant. Much of the menu is the same but they do offer a all you can eat option. We opted for the regular menu. Two of us got the appetizer chicken lettuce wraps. It was good. One got couple rolls. Overall, good experience.

We always hope they have the Japanese soda, Ramune

Peter was so helpful and attentive during our lunch. The presentation of the sushi and sashimi was beautiful. Everything tasted delicious. We love eating here. The Ramune soda is such a nice treat too.

Service is always amazing been atleast 3 times and each time I done takeout and food was hot and ready for me on arrival. Ordered the shrimp and broccoli lunch special comes with shrimp egg roll honestly both 10/10 clean and tasty. The actual restaurant looks clean and nice for a quick bite nice size. Would definitely recommend

On Monday late afternoon, I had an early dinner at this restaurant with a colleague of mine. I ordered an eel roll, a salmon roll, a volcano, and tea. My bill was $41.63 plus the waitress herself added $8.33 as tips. So total is $49.96. The eel roll was terrible. There was no eel fish in the roll but the skin. The expensive volcano roll was fried, which I had never expected. So that means the sushi chef is clueless about what a volcano roll is. The salmon roll was okay. And my stomach has been upset since Tuesday morning. So many uncountable trips to the bathroom ever since Tuesday morning. The waitress' behavior was bad also, no matter how many times I tried to be nice to her. I will never go to this place again. I don't recommend this place. I'm still recovering from food poisoning, even 2 days after.

None of us were from this area, and we intended to go to the Mayflower Chinese Restaurant, based on Yelp reviews. However, once we walked in the door, it was apparent this place was focused on carryout, and there was no way we were staying to eat in their dingy entrance area. We walked next door to the Meleket Ethiopian restaurant. However, the place was deserted, and we didn't stay there either. We tried the Lime & Cilantro, the next place down, but it was packed and couldn't handle our group. So, we skipped past the verernary clinic and went to Spring Garden. And, what a great choice that was. They offer a huge menu of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese meals. Everything is reasonably priced. Once we got our food, we were impressed with the quality and portion sizes. And, through it all, the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered Hot and Sour soup (my bellwether for Chinese restaurants) and beef chow fun. The soup was flavorful without being overpowering, and the chow fun was delicious too. I liked everything so much that I ordered another soup and Thai Basil with Chicken to go, and that's been my lunch for the past couple of days. Don't be put off by the seediness of its location. Spring Garden is a great place to grab some tasty, reasonably priced food, either to eat in or take away.
