This is my favorite sushi spot that delivers to me! Everything is always so well packed and arrives hot. It always comes with plenty of chopsticks, plastic ware, soy sauce, and shrimp sauce. This time I ordered the sweet potato roll, sides of fried rice, miso soup, and vegetable tempura. The sweet potato roll is my go-to here! Some sushi places have the tendency to use big chunks of sweet potato, which makes the roll squishy, but this place doesn't hesitate on the fried tempura outside which always results in a perfectly balanced roll. I've tried nearly all of their veggie sushi, and have always been very happy! The fried rice is exactly what you want from a sushi place. Not too heavy on the peas and carrots, which I appreciate it. Great flavor. The miso soup is outstanding. I get it every time, even when it's 100 degrees outside! So flavorful! This was my first time getting the vegetable tempura. It was.. okay. I should've known getting it delivered would affect the crunchy outside. The vegetables were fresh, but the tempura crunch wasn't there. (I'm sure this is great in the restaurant). You know when you're in one of those indecisive food moods? It happens to me constantly. I had driven by Sushi Factory numerous times before Monday's first dine in experience. Overall, it hit the spot but I wouldn't necessarily rave from the mountaintops about it. Quickly seated, quickly taken care of, food quickly prepared, and check quickly paid. Service wise, zero complaints. No flash, no fuss, just prompt and to the point. As a lone diner that wanted to be left alone, I greatly appreciated it. 3 rolls and an order of Shumai ran me $19 and change. Not too shabby. I knew while I was consuming my meal like a post workout animal that it wasn't the greatest, but ya know what I really didn't care in the moment. The texture of the steamed Shumai was soft and the meat flavor was there just not overwhelming. The spicy Krabmeat Roll was by far my favorite of the night. Nice heat that didn't even require a dip of soy (although I dunked it real good). The other rolls were fine in presentation and the flavors were dare I say, tolerable. Don't expect the world at Sushi Factory. But don't overlook it either. Sometimes places like this are essential to the dining scene. read more

At the intersection of Phillips and JTB is a very mellow and really good Sushi spot. From the bento boxes to the various rolls(cooked and uncooked), I am always full and happy when I leave here. The care and love the Chefs have for their craft really shines through. Tonight, I had both the Salomon Katsu and the Kama Tuna rolls. Once again, I leave happy and satisfied. I'm on the fence when it comes to the Sushi Factory for a few reasons. I walked in to see a unkept server and IMO there's nothing worse than seeing a server who doesn't look well groomed. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, and we both got the rock n' roll bento boxes that came with the rock n' roll, a California roll, fried rice and two pork dumplings. I added asparagus to mine and three times she said, "cucumber?" So three times I repeated myself and then I get my roll and I have no veggie, she takes it back and says, "you forgot the cucumber" so I scream across the restaurant, "ASPARAGUS"!!! She was attentive but her Etiquette was all off, even as she took our order she was patting her head and rubbing her stomach like she was constipated. Immediate turn off!! The rock n' roll was decent and so was everything else. I wouldn't order the shrimp dumplings again because they weren't crisp just really soft. My last hmm moment was the clear soup, although the flavor of the broth was great they fried purple onions and mixed it in with the crisp that come with the soup and it threw off the whole balance because they were sweet. A green onion would've been sufficient imo, or they could've ditched the fried onions all together. read more

Delicious and affordable. They currently aren't doing dine in at the moment so we ended doing take out. I was a bit disappointed they weren't doing dine-in in comparison to many restaurants that are providing that option. But, everyone runs their business differently. Their food was affordable and delicious. I was surprised it was as cheap as it was being that my fiancé and I bought a ton of food, lol! We got two steak bento boxes, which comes with 4 sushi rolls, 2 gyozas, clear soup, and rice. We bought 3 different types of sushi rolls which were a total of 6-8 pieces each I believe (i forgot the names). Our meals also came two dipping sauces, Yum Yum sauce and Soy Sauce. Total came out to be $33! Can't beat that at all. Hopefully they will be able to do dine-in soon. Other than that, I will definitely be returning. :) read more

This was a cute place my daughter and I found by accident the other day. It's tucked into a tiny strip mall on Philips Highway and you can pass by it easily if you aren't paying attention. They were constantly busy the entire time we were there, with eat in customers and many more take out customers. One cashier was devoted entirely to handling those orders. Everyone we encountered working there were very pleasant and had big smiles, they seemed to enjoy their jobs. Inside, it's adorable. Plenty of seating without feeling cramped. Wooden benches have cushioned pads instead of upholstered booth seats and it fits right in with the Asian decor. It was more comfortable than it looked. To be honest, once I saw the lunch special menu (pictured) I didn't look at the regular menu. Sushi places can be pricey if you aren't careful but they had some great lunch deals available 7(!) days a week. Both my daughter and I chose the 2 sushi roll special for $7.45 which came with soup, salad or rice (we both chose clear soup). Both the soft drinks (larger than we expected) and the soup came out right away. The soup was good, but average. The mushrooms were sliced paper thin, which was a nice touch. Our sushi came out soon after, plated pleasantly. We shared and all the rolls were really good. My daughter ordered one, the Ricky Roll, which neither of us had heard of. That particular one was outstanding. It was fried with shrimp and cream cheese and tasted similar to a crab Rangoon. Definitely recommend if you like that sort of thing. LOL All in all, this was a cute little place that I'm glad we found. We're over on this side of town once a month or so and I know we'll be back. read more

I was sceptical when I walked in. This place is not very big and they were not busy at all for a Saturday evening. We ordered two sushi rolls. The dynamite roll and the spicy tuna roll were decent but definitely not the best I've had. The dynamite roll is supposed to have salmon in it but it was barely there. We ordered our dinner. I got the stir fry chicken udon noodles and my friend got the shrimp and salmon habachi. The chicken in my udon noodles was very strange. The texture did not seem like chicken at all and there were these strange chunks in it. I questioned what it was and was told it was imitation fish cake. It was gross. The habachi was not seasoned very well and the fried rice tasted very blanned. Both of us got clear soup which seemed to be very good flavorful compared to others we've had. I will not go back here. Ponied up to the bar - and noticed "Uni" wasn't listed on the menu. Bold move - given the moniker. That said, most places that list it have long ago adopted the "we're out of Uni today" because of the unawareness / aversion we have towards one of the world's best foods. I asked the itamae if they had Uni - and got the "were out of Uni today" even with it unlisted. Nice guy - we had a good talk throughout my stay. Wonderful server was very attentive and charismatic. Learned she and her family escaped Vietnam in '75 when the "gittin was good". Very sweet but strong lady. Presentation was tops. I ordered sashimi across the board. Surf Clam, Conch, Scallop, Tuna, Salmon. Since that wasn't enough - I asked for a "Trust Me" surprise. See photos. Whenever I have sushi on the brain I go to the Sushi Factory! I have been exploring the menu for a while and I have yet to come across something that isn't delicious! A well deserved 5 stars from this Yelper! I always like to start out with appetizers and they have a great selection of things here. The Miso soup is very good, it has lots of tofu and seaweed. I love the seaweed salad also, it's a generous portion for the price. Spring rolls and Steamed Shumai are among some of my other favorite appetizers. My favorite sushi roll is probably the Salmon Katsu Roll which is fried salmon with cream cheese. So good and always very fresh tasting. The Ricky Roll is fried krabstick and cream cheese which is pretty tasty dipped in yum yum sauce! Also among my favorites is the JTB Roll, this one's a must try! There is a sushi roll for everyone here with dozens on the menu! There are a few vegetarian options. I have also tried their Udon noodle soups which did not disappoint and I'm going to be trying a hibachi meal from here very soon. I have to say that I have been continually impressed by the quality of the food! It's always hot when I pick it up and they have never incorrectly made an order. Service is very good as well... I could go on and on! I recommend Sushi Factory 100%. read more

This is a normal place we visit since we work nearby. Today I walk in and look at their normal lunch specials and ordered what I usually order. 2 rolls and it comes with soup. They said it no longer comes with soup but the price is the same but to go orders still come with it. This doesn't make any sense. People who come in to eat there and tip are being short changed. Charged the same price for less food. Horrible customer service. I ended up canceling my order and walking out. Since we first visited Sushi Factory, we must have been there more than a dozen times. The quality of the food and service have been consistently great. I have introduced many friends and family and we meet up for dinner here almost on a weekly basis. Talking to the owners, Zhen (spelling?) and Michelle, they are crazy busy during lunch, but quiet at night. So they now have happy hour with great beer/sake, appetizer, and sushi deals. I was a little weary of how this place was going to be.....maybe the location, the name "factory", or just the generic feel of the place .......well I can say I was pleasantly surprised every thing was all good!! There was nothing I didnt like..... First the food was good ( not great but right for the price) the portions were huge, the chicken hibachi was enough for two people, the bento box was the perfect way to try multiple things : Cali roll, chicken teriyaki, fried dumplings and fried rice and the price maybe 8$ !! I usually get sushi here but today I was feeling lucky with a habatchi lunch. The shrimp and broccoli were steamed to perfection with carrots and zucchini with fried rice. I also tried a new soda that took almost a hour to open then I found a YouTube video to help. The staff is very busy and sometimes you have to call on redial during lunch time. $$ but worth the wait. Stopped by again after a great volunteer night at Catty Shack Ranch. Had one thing on my mind...Chirashi. Again, much kudos for not closing early. Zhen had a warm welcome. From restroom to entire place it was immaculate. No need to look at menu...Chirashi!!! It was incredible. Huge thick pieces of Sashimi. Shrimp, crab, cucumber, seaweed salad, and some of the best rice ever. I mean, like when do you have memorable rice... but here I am saying it was... delicious. Once again, great conversation with Zhen. Sounds like he is going to bring his family to Catty Shack soon which is a great idea. I hope to provide him great service there in return. As I was paying my bill, I was handed a Treasure Roll to go. Seems someone called in an order and then cancelled it after it was made. They didn't want to just toss it out and decided to offer it to me. How incredibly nice on their part! Amazing way of saying thanks for returning. So impressed! Trust me, once I got home... I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Chirashi was not only delicious and plentiful, but it was beautiful. They also offered me Miso Soup and salad with ginger dressing. Excellent Miso. I have never tried this place but I've been working in town and it was on grub hub with decent reviews, so I ordered 3 different sushi rolls and the sampler app. I have had all different types of sushi, some impressive, some unimpressive but I have yet to ever say that I had to throw something out after one bite. All three of my rolls tasted like the fish was completely past it's date. I love fish so much, especially raw salmon. This was so "fishy" that it was inedible. Located in a strip mall at the JTB and Philips Highway corner, you'll find a small, quiet spot to get a nice meal. The inside is decorated nicely with a few booths along the sides and tables in the middle. There is a sushi bar with a few chairs if you're inclined to watch the chef. During our last visit, we started with some edamame. It was freshly steamed with a nice sprinkling of coarse salt on top. I stole a sip of my guy's clear soup and the broth was very flavorful. We ordered a few rolls to share - spicy krab, the spider, and honey. The spicy krab was standard and had a small kick. The spider roll was soft shell crab. The crab was nicely fried and the end pieces had the nice bite of claw meat. The honey roll took a while and came out long after our other rolls - we thought they forgot about it honestly. It was salmon, krab, avocado, and cream cheese all battered and fried. The batter was thicker than I've ever had on fried rolls and it made the cream cheese molten lava. We separated the pieces and blew on them for good measure before attempting another bite. I liked the flavor but the thick batter made the roll chewy. I'm not in a hurry to order that one again. Sushi Factory is a good option for a quick and quiet dinner. Not a lot of people were eating inside but they did a steady stream of take out. So next time you're in the area, check it out. read more

Normally when I order from sushi factory it's delivery for lunch. They always seem to get lost although my coworkers and I order from them ALL the time. Friday night we stop by for dinner and actually dine in. I've been here several times to pick up, and a couple of times for dining in but this night it was off. We walked in and we had to greet the waitresses since they were off in the corner. It was rather slow since there were only two other tables occupied. Maybe they were busy with to-go or delivery orders? Anyways, the hostess sat us down and constantly rolled her eyes since a child in the other table kept crying - a big no-no if you are in customer service. Have to grin and bear it. Our waitress was a tad awkward as well. We didn't mind since we were starving. Ordered our food, wasn't bad for the price since it was relatively cheap. Had to ask if we were going to get our appetizer while we were choosing down on our entrees. When we arrived, we were told to seat ourselves. When we did, we chose a table that had not been cleaned yet, and a server had to clean the table after we were seated. The thing is, there were barely any customers in the restaurant. I was confused about why the table wasn't already clean. On top of that, the service seemed to lag a little considering that there were not many patrons. Other than that, there were many options. We selected an appetizer and two rolls each. We both had soup. I had clear and my friend had miso. Both soups and the appetizer were tasty. We sorta over-ordered and didn't really get to enjoy much of the rolls in the restaurant, but what we had was good and they were all good the next day.
