I have no idea how this place does not have an overall 5 star rating. While traveling in Miami we were looking for a sushi lunch place since most of the hotel sushi restaurants didn't open until dinner. This place was the BEST find! The fish was so fresh especially the salmon. Even the avocado was insanely fresh too! We placed our ordered and were literally shocked with the prices. The sushi was so cheap and the rolls were packed with fish. For a don bowl, a California roll, a sushi appetizer, specialty roll, and soda and my bill was $28!!!! I have never seen prices so cheap for sushi! The rainbow don was probably the best thing I've ever had. It was a bowl of rice with fresh fish and avocado on top. It was delicious. The service was also super fast for how much we ordered ! I wish I could come back to this place every day and try everything on the menu it was so good! read more

Yesterday I made a pick up order from this place and went straight home after picking the closed bags. My husband LOST his TOOTH because there was a ROCK inside the Chicken Teriyaki Box! He is in a lot of pain now because of that! I called the restriction and talked to OLGA the person who says is the manager and she said that there was NOTHING she could do and said it was impossible that could have happened. What? I am lying? I have gone to Hiro's now a few times with the boyfriend. Prices are affordable, food is plentiful, but honestly what I think is the best part about this place is the customer service. Then again, I am extremely grateful that one of the girls working there kept me company when I got sick last Saturday night, while boyfriend went to get the car. She was a doll, honestly, and I wish I had gotten her name. Customer service aside, the place is somewhat small, but there are plenty of chairs inside and out. They sell a variety of items from sushi to Thai dishes for non-fish eaters like me. I usually get the miso soup, which is always surprising to me as it's in a sterofoam cup, as well as fried gyoza. Meanwhile, boyfriend loves the takoyaki there. Hence when in Miami Beach, we're open to paying a visit to Hiro's. The sushi was incredibly fresh, which I wasn't expecting for their ridiculously cheap prices. We ordered the takoyaki and spicy dynamite shrimp for appetizers, while I had the rainbow don for my main. The sushi bowl had a huge amount of sushi rice underneath, but for only $8~ and a wide selection of fish, I had no complaints. Some fellow yelpers and I stopped by right after the yelp's SoBe Wine & Food Festival Kick-Off Party in South Beach! For all that, we spent under $35! The noodles were delish, I really liked the flavors. The sushi was fresh. The takoyaki was the only thing I wasn't too impressed with.
