I definitely recommend planning ahead and coming with a very hungry tummy! With the menu being all-you-can-eat, I suggest leaving plenty of room for the wide variety of food to try! I loved all of the sushi I had, it was so delicious. The service was really great and our server stopped by at perfect times for us to order more food. I'd love to come in here during daylight, because there are huge glass windows and the natural light would be killer! If you can eat a good bit, it's definitely worth the price!! My only complaint would be the fruit flies. There were a couple flying around us during dinner and one landed onto my friends sushi, so she lost her appetite after that.

Sushi Bomb is an awesome AYCE sushi spot in Robinson! The restaurant is huge but if you go on a weekend, expect to wait at least an hour to sit down. The sushi is surprisingly fantastic! Sushi Bomb is great for large groups or a date night. There is no hibachi table, so don't expect a live show... just good sushi! Don't forget to order the banana roll for dessert!

The inside was super fancy. Very open, warm lighting. We were seated right by the line where the food is cooked so getting in and out was a little awkward. The sushi was good! Service was ok.

    好吃,食材新鲜,价格实惠,需要等位。喜欢鳗鱼寿司,鱿鱼圈,炸蟹角好多人点,推荐。

Delicious. I personally like the eel sushi and fried squid. The fried crab sticks are pretty good too. There's usually a wait on weekends.

Oh my god this place was awesome. The sushi was so good and I literally felt like I was going to explode after. We didn't feel like leaving or giving up and the food came so quickly! Very impressed with the service and how nice the place was. Friends and family friendly

I love this place! As far as All You Can Eat goes, they have tasty fresh food always! GREAT FLAVOR, and usually pretty quick and friendly service. Plenty of seating as well to ensure pretty quick turnover times for tables too. I LOVE sushi and this place is top notch in my opinion. The sushi is always guaranteed to fulfill my want for some yummy goodness. Its hard up here to find good sushi but at the price point you really can't beat it. There are also a bunch of other choices for food too. Great appetizers, soup, sushi and even American food choices too for the kids. I will be back!

Sushi Bomb is a casual Japanese restaurant that offers an *all-you-can-eat* menu of appetizers, sushis, and entrees (e.g., noodles, hibachi, and teriyaki). Current prices are $18 per adult for lunch (discounted for children) and $24 per adult for dinner (discounted for children). Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available for an additional charge. Please see my attached photos for the menu in August 2024. In the past several months, my husband and I have eaten a few meals here. Our waiters promptly and courteously took our orders, handed over our foods, and processed our payments. Across our meals, we have eaten the miso soup, spring roll, crab rangoon, gyoza, shrimp shumai dumplings, vegetable roll, Alaska roll, salmon-lover roll, Miami roll, red-sun roll, rocking roll, king-lobster roll, spicy crabmeat roll, Hawaiian roll, hibachi vegetables, hibachi shrimp, teriyaki chicken, chicken noodles, fried rice, etcetera. We thought that these foods were not the best that we have eaten in the Pittsburgh area, but they were still very fresh and good. For the all-you-can-eat price, this restaurant can be a good bargain.

This place was Sooooo busy on a Thursday evening! We arrived around 7 and actually had a wait. The concept of "all you can eat" was very alluring, my friend and I ordered a few special sushi rolls to share, along with appetizers and soups. I will say that I was happy with the freshness of the food here, and the effectiveness of the wait staff and sushi chefs - we never waited long for food, and everything came out very fresh. The sushi was very good, I was pleased with the amount of fish provided.

Came here for dinner it's always been good every time I come here. They don't have sashimi, but they have a lot of varieties to choose from. Service is always good here as well.ambience is they have a such bar where you can see them make them. It gets really busy on weekends. Please always check in on the website to be on waiting lists otherwise sometimes you would have to wait awhile to be sit in..price is good but remember what you order you would have to finish otherwise there be a charge for left over. Highly recommended.

You could tell that the fish is low quality and not fresh. The rice to fish ratio is off because there is too much rice. Food also took a while to prepare.

Came here with a big party and had to wait about 2.5 hours? - understandable though considering our large party. Fortunately, you can join the waitlist and see where you are on the waitlist. Despite our long wait, the service remained amazing - they were super attentive and quick, and always made sure to check in on us. The food for an AYCE was decent, the variety of rolls they had were immense. The breadth of food is definitely a plus at this location and the quality was decent as well. The food came out really quick which was great. One note about the sushi, the rice tends to be overcooked / too soft for our liking but otherwise, the flavour and rice to veggie/meat ratio is satisfactory. Overall, this is a great place to come with family or friends if you're looking for a chill atmosphere, fast service, and decent sushi!

I finally got to try this place! Every other time I tried it was too long of a wait. Definitely be aware of that as line can be long often but that can be a good thing! The sushi is good, not the best I've had but definitely worth it the Saturday dinner buffet cost of $25ish with a variety of options of sushi, appetizers, and other. There is also a salad bar style of additional sides and ice cream that is self serve while all else is order as you eat. Definitely the place to be when on a crab Rangoon kick, ate a few plates. I was told by a friend that they will charge you for anything you order and don't eat so don't over order. The only thing that I disliked was the waitress wasn't very friendly and seemed to also rush us as once she brought the checks she held her hand out for our cards almost immediately rather than returning as is normal. Won't down star the restaurant for that as maybe she had a bad day.

    Amy T. H.

For a $24 dinner sushi buffet, i expect a lot more from Sushi Bomb. First, the waitress had troubles getting the correct orders for our table but considering we are a big group (8), i understand it could be difficult. We ordered many dishes from each category and we didn't like a lot of them. Crab rangoon was over fried, didn't have a lot of stuffing in it. Fried calamari was super chewy. The single sushi pieces were disappointing. The rice kept falling off and had no flavor. Yellowtail Jalapeno didn't taste fresh. I find it quite frustrating that the raw fish at a sushi place doesn't taste fresh.

Is the sushi safe for people with gluten allergies? Many soy sauces contain gluten, unless they make a point of carrying the gluten free variety.

I noticed many items on the menu that were marked as "gluten-free". I will say it was a small percentage, but there were several with a small green symbol. ;:0)

Do they cater to selfish allergies?

    Lol obv not

What time do they switch to the dinner menu?

They close at 3 pm on weekdays and open back up at 4:30. They switch to the dinner menu then. On weekends, they don't close down in the middle of the day so I don't know when exactly they make the switch-over.

We decided to have a pre-cocktail at the bar before being seated. There seemed to be a lot of regular neighborhood frequent flyers at the Sushi bar and regular tables already. The Hibachi tables were starting to fill up quickly. There were also people waiting in chairs to be seated before we even knew it or finished our drinks. Probably around 7 PM-ish? As we were finishing up our drinks, the Front of House Host kindly greeted us at the bar and recognize that we were wanting to eat. We didn't even even say anything in the first place just went to the bar, so I thought that was a nice observation and that means a lot to me when I am trying to dine somewhere. He kindly seated us in the front waiting area and told us to wait for a Hibachi Table. As we waited I was asking others around us if they had ever been there before? Everyone *(more than four people), said they were always very pleased with the service, the food was tasty and the portions were very plentiful! When we sat down, we had the best table and someone was celebrating their birthday so that was fun! The language barrier between the chefs and the servers were very streamlined for the tables needs. Everything was "right on point". Our Server & Chef were both efficient and amazing together. The Habachi show was fun and interactive too. Sworn by others the portions were so generous for the price. They import their fish from Japan, so everything is exceptional quality (unlike any other I've ever had) and the taste experiences are incredible. The toro, both salmon and traditional tuna, are both to die for. The lighting and general vibe of the place are honestly just as appealing as the food, as it's the sort of place that makes you feel like you're partaking in an experience rather than just a meal. As said before, the quality is top notch, but you will shell out a good bit of money if you want to satisfy your appetite. The first time I went here, I spent approximately $140 on myself. The second time was in a group outing, paying for another person in the group, and we got a little loose with our ordering of food and drink. I think, with tip, it ended up being close to $450-$475. I nearly died when I saw that bill. Do I think it was worth it? Yes. Can I make it a regular thing? As someone who sometimes lives paycheck to paycheck, absolutely not. Hahaha. If you're planning on going, I would generally recommend reservations and booking about a month in advance. TLDR; The people who work there are knowledgable, the food is high quality and worth the price, but view this as a treat kind of place rather than a regular spot... that bill will hit you hard.

The staff were attentive and welcoming, and everything came out quickly and looked like it was prepared with real care. Now, coming from someone who doesn't even like sushi, I'm probably the worst critic for the food itself but Nina couldn't stop talking about it. She said it was easily the best sushi she's had in Pittsburgh, and that says a lot. Every roll she tried, she loved, and she was already talking about coming back before we even left. We have been to every major sushi spot in the county and this is the one place I took her in the past 6 years of her moving to Pittsburgh that she said says the best. So if you're like me, maybe sushi isn't your thing the beef portion was small but okay could've been more beef and less fluff so, you might not be converted. But if you're taking someone who does love authentic sushi fresh from japan, this place is a home run. For making her 30th feel special and giving her a meal she genuinely enjoyed, this spot absolutely nailed it. Best sushi in Pittsburgh from a someone who has had the best sushi japan has to offer.

I'm currently pregnant and was really looking forward to a healthier meal, but one of the sushi rolls I ordered was completely drenched in sauce -- it had soaked the roll and pooled in the container, making it inedible. I've had eel sauce before, usually lightly zigzagged on top of the roll but this was excessive. We ordered 30-45 minutes before closing, but didn't receive the food until just before they shut down. When we discovered the issue, we went back to politely ask if just that one roll could be remade. The staff said the kitchen was closed, which we respected. So we asked for a partial refund instead. The owner refused, saying no one had ever complained in 20 years and pointed to a small sign in the restaurant saying you could request sauce on the side -- something we didn't know as first-time customers, especially since the menu didn't mention sauce at all. I calmly knocked on the door hoping to speak with the owner directly. I wasn't aggressive or confrontational in any way -- but he came to the door holding up a phone or tablet showing he had called 911. A police officer eventually showed up and asked the same questions we had. The owner still refused to refund or remake anything. We were left shocked, disrespected, and out the cost of a meal I couldn't eat. Sushi isn't cheap, and this was a ridiculous overreaction to a simple, polite complaint.
