The food were great. The broths were light and nicely balanced with flavour, not too salty. The shrimps in the Sapporo Miso Ramen were cooked perfectly but the pork in the Chirashu Ramen was a bit chewy. The soy sauce served with the Agedashi Tofu had a hint of sweetness which was quite refreshing to the palate. Overall, the food satisfied our cravings but the promptness and accuracy of the service could be improved.

My bowl was the last to arrive and it was wrong. They gave me sliced lamb even though we pointed at the lamb chop photo. They took it back and I sat there waiting while everyone else ate. When the correct ramen finally came the lamb chop was noticeably small and dry. When we brought up the size difference the staff just said that is how it is. No apology and no effort to explain. I also overheard the staff talking about the order and the manager did not sound happy. Whether she was upset at me or her team, the whole vibe was uncomfortable. The spicy broth tasted like a mix of Buldak sauce and Capsaicin, but didn't have much depth. I finished my ramen, broth and all and enjoyed most of the experience. The least favorite was the chasu and the egg as chasu did not taste fresh, and I could not taste the char on them at all. The egg was over-cooked and under marinated which was disappointing. It's still one of the few ramen options in Durham but can't say it's comparable to the other Kenzo locations.
