But with four people at the table, that's really not excessive--especially since each single piece of sashimi counts as one item. The soup came in a tiny teacup, and the fried tofu was about the size of dice (1 item count). On top of that, the service was unpleasant. The staff gave us attitude, as if we were eating too much--which is ridiculous for an All You Can Eat place. The food selection was quite limited too. Many dishes tasted the same, especially the beef items. And several popular Japanese choices were missing--no grilled eel sushi, no tobiko, no short ribs, and no grilled squid for lunch. These are all regular lunch items if you go AYCE restaurant in Toronto. We also received dishes we didn't order, and when informing the waiter they were obviously not very happy and keep frowning Overall, this was the most disappointing AYCE experience we've ever had. Next time we'll definitely go to Mandarin instead--it's much better value and service.
