Food is always good. Hot, well seasoned and fresh. Can't go wrong with picking from the dinner combo set of 3 dishes. Comes with soup and rice

We love New Fusion! Their food is great and we always order online or call them ahead of time. Today we got the $88 + cash seafood combo for 2-4 ppl and to be honest, I think it's a pretty good deal. Cash only for combo sets though...

Thank you New Fusion for the recent updates! This is pretty much the only Chinese restaurant in a 20km radius that serves "Pick your own dishes set combo " menu. 30+ dishes to choose from a and comes with rices and soup. Prior to the start of pandemic we would get their 3-4 dishes combo take out weekly. During the mid-end we noticed they changed their take out boxes with a much shorter depth. There's obviously less food in each box and it was much more apparent with the fried pork dishes with only small corner pieces. After a few more tries, we stopped ordering from new fusion. Fast forward to yesterday (almost a year+ later), we gave them another try and to our surprise they have went back to their bigger boxes!! Thank you! So happy! We will definitely be back!

We ordered takeout for dinner. They prepared the food pretty quickly. The price was fair. There are some dishes that I like better. Overall decent food for reasonable price. But the food is on the salty side so better if you have some rice to go with it. We ordered six dishes and cost $115 all in. 1. Pepper salt "white rice fish"/"needle fish" It's deep fried battered small fish. Not crunchy but the taste is not bad. And it's not something commonly offered in Chinese restaurants nowadays. 2. Two kinds of mushrooms with veggies Tastes good, one of my favorites. The choi sum is crunchy and green. Seasoning is of right amount. But it's a pretty standard dish in Cantonese style restaurant so not super special. 3. Pepper salt pork chop Tender but too salty. Need to go with rice. 4. Satay beef vermicelli Pretty good, quite a lot of beef. But again, pretty standard dish. 5. XO sauce fish fillet with mushrooms and celery Tastes pretty good too, slightly spicy. My other favorite. 6. Garlic shrimp Big disappointment. This was the most anticipated dish yet the super thick batter is ruining the shrimp. The thick batter is like the chicken ball seen at those non authentic Chinese restaurant. Not sure why they have the batter... not recommend at all. And the garlic flavor is also lacking. For aurora/Newmarket standard, good to have such a Cantonese styled restaurant in this area. For markham standard, nothing stands out.

The menu here is very 'authentic' and the place run by Hong Kongers (or Cantonese speakers at least), with a token General Tao's chicken. Yet, the restaurant is very uneven. Some dishes are good, but others are actually quite bad. So far it seems from my experience that the fried rice and noodle dishes are bad, but the rest are good. Minced pork, seaweed & tofu soup excellent. It had lots of ingredients Stir fried pork neck meat with mushroom was pretty tasty, with tender pork & nice tasty mushrooms. There was a good wok flavour. On the other hand, Fujian fried rice was tasteless egg fried rice topped with an alright sauce with seafood, frozen mixed vegetables & BBQ pork. Ee Fu noodles were so-so. They needed more mushrooms. They had more green peas than mushrooms, which went alright with the noodles. Shrimp paste ushimatsu (beef) fried rice was so-so - rice grains were dry & it barely had smoky wok flavour. There was quite a lot of beef. Orders (at least on-site ones) come with soup (which is very Cantonese), which is decent.

Hard to believe! But I did drive all the way from Markham to eat at New Fusion Restaurant. Came with a low expectation but was pleasantly surprised. We ordered - Sweet and Sour Chicken with Rice: Love how they used fresh pineapple of the canned variety! The batter is thin and crunchy and all the pieces never turned soggy! The sauce has this nice balance and honestly, this is one of the best ones I had in GTA. - Fried Rice Noodle with Beef: It has a nice hot off the wok aroma. But sadly the beef was overcooked and dry. This might be a pass for me. The above comes with Soup of the Day and a Choice of drink New Fusion Restaurant probably the best choice of Chinese food in the area. I would even gladly drive up to try other dish. Service is fast and friendly.

It has been one year since New Fusion has open its doors in our local Aurora community :) They have finally branded themselves away from what we used to think as a Chiu-Chow styled restaurant. Now they have flourished into a fully running authentic Chinese restaurant where they offer seasonal seafood, delicious wok-fried dishes, while still offering many homey, comfort food I love. To celebrate their 1st Year Anniversary, the restaurant is introducing NEW Family Combos with affordable prices - starting at $58 for Special Combo for 2-4 people. This combo includes Seafood Soup, Ginger Scallion Lobster, Half Royal Chicken, King Mushroom with sliced fish, Pea Sprout in Garlic soup, and complimentary dessert. YOU HAVE TO STAY FOR DESSERT. Holy shit, that complimentary almond paste with egg white dessert is the BEST I've ever had. It is silky smooth and not too sweet; perfect way to end off a meal :) New Fusion will continue to be my all-time go-to spot for Chinese food; it is my home away from home :) Scrambled eggs with shrimp, Deep fried fish fillet in sweet corn sauce, Beef brisket with flat rice noodles in soup are amongst my personal faves. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and I hope to see you there too ^^ #aurorahousewives #supportlocalbusiness

There isn't much choice in HK style cafes in Aurora and I've been here a few times since I haven't had a bad experience. However, that changed just a smidge yesterday. The pork chop with rice seemed thinner than before and the whole afternoon there was an aftertaste in my mouth and I was so thirsty. Guess they were a little heavy handed with the MSG.

Interesting rustic looking decor with a touch of Asian

Go north to Newmarket (border) for decent Chinese food? Decor is quite unique and nice-rustic with an Asian touch! The food quality and taste is quite good. Tasty and decent portion sizes. Not overly greasy and food temperature is good. The menu is not as extensive as some of the other restaurants but if we had to sacrifice quantity for quality, I like this better. The choices are more "basic" than exotic but that is fine! This is not a very large restaurant-think of it as a cross between a cafe and restaurant. It's a good choice for authentic Chinese food in Newmarket. As a matter of fact, they will hold their own when you compare them to Markham/Richmond Hill places too!

Travelled up north for Chinese food.. What.?! That's right.. Instead of heading down to Markham for food we came up here upon a recommended from a family friend and we definitely not disappointed. This restaurant is located in a new plaza with construction all around..so will take a little time to pick up. We ordered the 4 dish combo which is served with steamed rice. Everything we ordered was great, flavourful and not too oily. I am very impressed! The service was great as well which is rare for Chinese food! I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here.

My visit to Noodle Max would be one of these unexplained phenomenon. I was really hoping to try this hyped up beef noodle place in Richmond Hill, only to have my hope squashed by a long line up at 4:20pm in the afternoon. 4:20!!! WTH!!! On a snowy, slushy late afternoon, I blindly (and slowly) drove my way aimlessly to Aurora. I remember some Asian restaurant getting rave reviews up in Aurora and that being Noodle Max (maybe it wasn't so aimless). If you are someone who believes in destiny, I can tell you destiny will occasionally give you sxxxxy things. Noodle Max would be one of them. Noodle Max's main offerings are Lan Zhou style noodles and was it ever an unauthentic and underwhelming experience. I wouldn't go as far to say the soup was tasteless like water, but it's pretty bland. While the soup for Lan Zhou noodles are not generally crazy strong in flavour, it should still have the taste of spices. The beef slices were also pretty tame in flavour. They were ok. The main plus about their noodle was the portion; quite big. The noodle had better texture than most store bought noodles, but it did not have the proper floury taste and the limited flavours from the soup was not able to hang onto the noodles. Aurora used to be a black hole in terms of dining options, but not anymore. How Noodle Max continued to garner such a high Yelp and Google rating befuddles me.

Unfortunately one item was misunderstood and we received something different but it was still good. We ordered the beef with flat rice noodles and the baked pork chop on rice but requested it with chicken. We ended up getting the half/half cream sauce/tomato sauce with chicken and pork. I think I confused her when I asked for chicken however it is on the menu as baked pork chop OR chicken. Maybe it's just not a common request. Anyways, it was still pretty good, the pork chop and chicken were both tender, the rice was slightly golden in colour, I do wish it was a bit more fried rice-like. There was lots of sauce and cheese. The cream sauce had a distinct coconut flavour which was a bit odd but not entirely unpleasant. The beef noodles were great, gigantic portion, steaming hot and plenty of wok hei. We ordered cold lemon tea for our drinks, cold drinks were $1 extra, but it was worthwhile. The tea was made to order and it was perfectly sweet, lemony and not at all bitter. Prices were really affordable which is part of the HK cafe appeal. I think for the two dishes plus the drinks it came out to less than $35 and we both had plenty of leftovers. Value is definitely there. Overall it's a good option for HK cafe food in Aurora. Most of these restaurants are opening in Newmarket so this is a good option closer to home. Personally I feel that there are better choices in Newmarket but for proximity/value/taste I will definitely order from here again. I'd like to try some other dishes as well, I see they have some Cantonese style dishes that look good!

On top of the base charge, you must pay for at least 2 soup bases & this charge is pretty steep too; most other hotpot places either include the soups or charge only for premium soups. Most are good, but sesame is super dilute. There's quite a variety of ingredients you can put in your hotpot. One category is skewers, which you can get yourself from the fridge. They are small & cook fast. The shrimp is quite fresh. The fishballs come with meat inside. Neither fish nor lobster balls are bouncy, though beef balls are pretty bouncy. There is one included cooked dish: crispy pork. It's sliced into finger shapes & is moist, crispy, flavourful & slightly spicy. A pity that they don't offer more cooked dishes! They have frog legs - so far I haven't found another place with that. They also have shrimp paste (other places give fish paste), which is good. For dessert there's fried buns which are neither hot nor crispy, served with watery condensed milk.
