Shrimp wonton lo mein, Hong Kong iced milk tea

My family and I love coming to trio! Their shrimp wonton noodles are heavenly. We've tried a few of their side dishes too (fried Fish skin and vegetables with oyster sauce) but the star are definitely the beef brisket and shrimp wonton noodles. Service is quick, efficient and staff are wonderful.

Small restaurant, easy parking right outside the restaurant, located at a shopping plaza. Service was efficient. We each ordered a noodle soup, and to share, the beef brisket and tendon and three side dishes, fried wonton, fried fish skin and fried cuttlefish balls, came to a total $134. Wonton dumplings are large, plus the noodles, generous portions. For me it's not a must return.

$12 for both. bought via ubereats bogo.

Similar to wonton hut in markham. We ordered through ubereats and took advantage of the bogo free offer. There's only one option which is the pork with chili and tomato lo mein with cuttlefish ball. The noodles was good but somewhat standard. The sauce was a bit disappointing because there's only a few little pieces of dry pork. I know it's more about the sauce but still, kinda sad. The cuttlefish balls however was awesome, it's huge, it has pieces of cuttlefish inside; dipped into the pink vinegar and it was great. I think it was somewhat a mistake not ordering wonton or beef brisket at a place known for its wonton. Anyway, glad I only paid $12 for two noodles. But next time will try their wonton.

Quick service and delicious Chinese noodle soups! Their wontons are delicious and I usually get the beef horfun with a side of dumplings.

I am a huge lover of shrimp wonton and saw this place came highly recommended. Drove 30 minutes to get here and so glad we did! Dining reopened and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Staff were super friendly and because we ordered over $20 before tax they gave us free crispy fish skins to try. They were delicious and tasted just like pork rinds, they don't have a fishy smell or taste at all. They are served with broth for optional dipping, but the server told us she prefers it without, so we took her recommendation. We tried the beef brisket lo mein, veggies with oyster sauce and shrimp wonton and dumpling noodle soup. The broth was a simple pork broth that balanced out the flavours of the wonton and dumpling. It never felt over salty it was just right! The brisket was super tender and my husband loved it! I took a bite and took a picture of the dumplings just to show how big the pieces of shrimp are in the dumplings. They are filled with shrimp, pork and mushrooms. I even bought some frozen wontons and dumplings to bring home to have another day. We left beyond full, happy and without breaking the bank. We will definitely return! Thank you so much for a lovely lunch on a cold Sunday.

I'm so happy this noodle franchise opened in Aurora! Admittedly we are not comfortable with dining in amid covid so we grabbed take out instead however, they do have very good social distancing measures inside the restaurant. There were only a handful of tables and they were quite spread out and all employees wore masks. The menu is simple, you can customize your noodles either with soup or without (lo mein) and the type of noodles. I got the 2 item egg noodle soup with wonton and dumplings, the hubby got rice noodle with beef brisket and dumplings. For $9, we most definitely got our money's worth b/c the wontons and dumplings were huge and full of shrimp fillings. The brisket was very tender and the soup was very flavourful. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to trying something else next time.

Fantastic place to get your Wonton/Shrimp Dumpling Egg Noodle Soup or Lo Marin fix for under $10!!! Now we don't have to travel to Markham/RHill. Food so good we ate it all before remembering to take photos to post. Definitely coming back in a couple weeks. Very clean and COVID19 compliant. All staff wearing a mask and issuing patron COVID19 surveys/contact request.

Absolutely disgusting. Small portion. The noodles had a very gross, cheap smell. Only one type of vegetable was included in dish.

My visit to Noodle Max would be one of these unexplained phenomenon. I was really hoping to try this hyped up beef noodle place in Richmond Hill, only to have my hope squashed by a long line up at 4:20pm in the afternoon. 4:20!!! WTH!!! On a snowy, slushy late afternoon, I blindly (and slowly) drove my way aimlessly to Aurora. I remember some Asian restaurant getting rave reviews up in Aurora and that being Noodle Max (maybe it wasn't so aimless). If you are someone who believes in destiny, I can tell you destiny will occasionally give you sxxxxy things. Noodle Max would be one of them. Noodle Max's main offerings are Lan Zhou style noodles and was it ever an unauthentic and underwhelming experience. I wouldn't go as far to say the soup was tasteless like water, but it's pretty bland. While the soup for Lan Zhou noodles are not generally crazy strong in flavour, it should still have the taste of spices. The beef slices were also pretty tame in flavour. They were ok. The main plus about their noodle was the portion; quite big. The noodle had better texture than most store bought noodles, but it did not have the proper floury taste and the limited flavours from the soup was not able to hang onto the noodles. Aurora used to be a black hole in terms of dining options, but not anymore. How Noodle Max continued to garner such a high Yelp and Google rating befuddles me.

It used to be a place with average service but good quality food and fair pricing. Now it is a complete and Uther failure. The food is no longer good. The prices have increased dramatically and the service has gotten next level bad. The latest time I took takeout will be my last. Theyve gotten so cheap that they cannot even use a proper lid for a takeout box for a baked rice as seen in the picture. This place is no longer redeemable and I would avoid it at all cost I've been burned one to many times on the food.

Unfortunately one item was misunderstood and we received something different but it was still good. We ordered the beef with flat rice noodles and the baked pork chop on rice but requested it with chicken. We ended up getting the half/half cream sauce/tomato sauce with chicken and pork. I think I confused her when I asked for chicken however it is on the menu as baked pork chop OR chicken. Maybe it's just not a common request. Anyways, it was still pretty good, the pork chop and chicken were both tender, the rice was slightly golden in colour, I do wish it was a bit more fried rice-like. There was lots of sauce and cheese. The cream sauce had a distinct coconut flavour which was a bit odd but not entirely unpleasant. The beef noodles were great, gigantic portion, steaming hot and plenty of wok hei. We ordered cold lemon tea for our drinks, cold drinks were $1 extra, but it was worthwhile. The tea was made to order and it was perfectly sweet, lemony and not at all bitter. Prices were really affordable which is part of the HK cafe appeal. I think for the two dishes plus the drinks it came out to less than $35 and we both had plenty of leftovers. Value is definitely there. Overall it's a good option for HK cafe food in Aurora. Most of these restaurants are opening in Newmarket so this is a good option closer to home. Personally I feel that there are better choices in Newmarket but for proximity/value/taste I will definitely order from here again. I'd like to try some other dishes as well, I see they have some Cantonese style dishes that look good!

On top of the base charge, you must pay for at least 2 soup bases & this charge is pretty steep too; most other hotpot places either include the soups or charge only for premium soups. Even places that charge for soups don't charge up to $12 as this place does. At least the soups are very good - both tomato & pork bone were tasty. You get to mix your own sauces. Most are good, but sesame is super dilute. There's quite a variety of ingredients you can put in your hotpot. One category is skewers, which you can get yourself from the fridge. They are small & cook fast. The shrimp is quite fresh. The fishballs come with meat inside. Neither fish nor lobster balls are bouncy, though beef balls are pretty bouncy. There is one included cooked dish: crispy pork. It's sliced into finger shapes & is moist, crispy, flavourful & slightly spicy. A pity that they don't offer more cooked dishes! They have frog legs - so far I haven't found another place with that. They also have shrimp paste (other places give fish paste), which is good. For dessert there's fried buns which are neither hot nor crispy, served with watery condensed milk. There's also canned fruit bowls & 6 flavours of ice cream - the usual cheap ice cream with some ice crystals.
