Back then they didn't offer drinks or set meals, but now they have set meals, with additional $5, you'd be able to get a Hong Kong styled milk tea or coffee and a side dish. This was the first time I tried the squid ball soup noodles, as always, it was delicious! I could taste plenty of squid inside the squid balls, noodles were chewy and the broth was delicious. Service was prompt and hot tea was served immediately on arrival. The only drawback is I feel they reduce the portion size for noodles although prices have increased inevitably over years. When I fancy an authentic bowl of Hong Kong noodles, this will always be my place! read more

I like their food and it's always chill there, not too packed, friendly staff. The wontons are my favourite, I usually get it with the thick noodles or when I feel like lower carbs I get a bowl or just wontons in broth. Another favourite is the tendon noodle. We always get the add-on combo , with a side of crispy fish skin. And when I feel like having something a bit healthier , I will get the side of green veg . Got my usual three kinds (egg) noodle, with the beef brisket, tripe, and tendon. As a side, we also got the fried trio, with the fried wonton, and two types of balls. They warned us about the wait time for my brother specific noodles, so we weren't concerned about it taking a little longer than usual, but the service was good as always! Staff, is friendly, and it was lively vibes with families out for a sunday brunch. Amazing! One of our go-to places in Aurora for a consistent, filling meal! I've only ever ordered takeout from here but every time the service has been super friendly and efficient. Can't comment on ambiance but the inside seems clean and simple. We always order the wonton soup with the thin noodles. My favourite is the shrimp wontons but I've also had the pork/shrimp wontons which are also really good! My husband has also had the brisket topping and said it was great. The wontons are massive and stuffed with filling. The shrimp pieces are always cooked so nicely and the shrimp are snappy and fresh tasting. The noodles have this addictive chewy texture and are always cooked perfectly. The soup is so comforting, I think it might be a chicken base but there's definitely a shrimp undertone that makes it unique and delicious, it's perfectly salty and complements the wontons. Last time we ordered, we tried the deep fried wontons which are basically the shrimp wonton you get in the soup just deep fried. Can't really go wrong, they were super crispy and delicious dipped in their mayo and sweet chili sauces. Price is super affordable, two people can usually eat for under $30 which is unheard of these days, obviously it's more if you add appetizers, etc... but still value is great and portion sizes are generous. Overall this place has been consistently great and for the taste/price, I will continue to be a regular here! read more

My family and I love coming to trio! Their shrimp wonton noodles are heavenly. We've tried a few of their side dishes too (fried Fish skin and vegetables with oyster sauce) but the star are definitely the beef brisket and shrimp wonton noodles. Similar to wonton hut in markham. We ordered through ubereats and took advantage of the bogo free offer. There's only one option which is the pork with chili and tomato lo mein with cuttlefish ball. The noodles was good but somewhat standard. The sauce was a bit disappointing because there's only a few little pieces of dry pork. I know it's more about the sauce but still, kinda sad. The cuttlefish balls however was awesome, it's huge, it has pieces of cuttlefish inside; dipped into the pink vinegar and it was great. I think it was somewhat a mistake not ordering wonton or beef brisket at a place known for its wonton. Anyway, glad I only paid $12 for two noodles. But next time will try their wonton. read more

I'm not lying when I say this is the BEST wonton/beef noodle place I've been to. Was so excited to finally see a decently rated authentic Asian noodle spot open only 10min away from me! (Trust me, it's soooo rare up here) The place is easy to spot, service is quick and friendly and the noodle- holy damn. Just bomb. The bowl was heaping to the brim with fresh tender beef brisket, ho fun (rice noodle) with the best friggin texture I've ever had (that bouncy noodle feel in your mouth- if you know you know) and the soup- not salty at all. Just steaming and just right! The bowl was gone in 5 min, I swear. ...and it was only $8! Wtf. The wontons also looked HUGE. I am a huge lover of shrimp wonton and saw this place came highly recommended. Drove 30 minutes to get here and so glad we did! Dining reopened and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Staff were super friendly and because we ordered over $20 before tax they gave us free crispy fish skins to try. They were delicious and tasted just like pork rinds, they don't have a fishy smell or taste at all. They are served with broth for optional dipping, but the server told us she prefers it without, so we took her recommendation. We tried the beef brisket lo mein, veggies with oyster sauce and shrimp wonton and dumpling noodle soup. The broth was a simple pork broth that balanced out the flavours of the wonton and dumpling. It never felt over salty it was just right! The brisket was super tender and my husband loved it! I took a bite and took a picture of the dumplings just to show how big the pieces of shrimp are in the dumplings. They are filled with shrimp, pork and mushrooms. I even bought some frozen wontons and dumplings to bring home to have another day. We left beyond full, happy and without breaking the bank. We will definitely return! I'm so happy this noodle franchise opened in Aurora! Admittedly we are not comfortable with dining in amid covid so we grabbed take out instead however, they do have very good social distancing measures inside the restaurant. There were only a handful of tables and they were quite spread out and all employees wore masks. The menu is simple, you can customize your noodles either with soup or without (lo mein) and the type of noodles. I got the 2 item egg noodle soup with wonton and dumplings, the hubby got rice noodle with beef brisket and dumplings. For $9, we most definitely got our money's worth b/c the wontons and dumplings were huge and full of shrimp fillings. The brisket was very tender and the soup was very flavourful. I am so happy this place opened up in Aurora. I was always hesitant to try it but after a friend recommended this place to me - it has become a favorite. Their soups and noodles are SOOOOO affordable and their portions are huge - I always end up having left overs for the next day. I always order the brisket noodle soup with rice noodles, brisket & shrimp wonton noodle soup for my husband and the fried shrimp wontons. Their shrimp wontons are HUGEEEE - one instantly fills me up if I order it in a soup. I love their brisket because it is sooooo soft, tender and packed with so much meatiness. Another thing that I love about this place is their spicy chilli oil. SUPER spicy and I've tried MANY chilli oils - this one makes you choke after inhaling it lol. I've learned my lesson after dumping the whole thing into my bowl. A lil goes a long way and still super spicy. My mom loves their soups as well. Every time she is sick, I order one noodle soup for her and she is happy. She usually complains but she actually enjoys this place EVERY single time. Big Fan of Big Trio! You just saved me many trips into Times Square and other Markham/RH noodle joints. So far, I can't go more than 2 days without at least a bowl of soup. Big, plump shrimp dumplings, a mass of firm noodles and a solid broth keep me coming back. And for under $10! I haven't had a chance to try other menu items besides the Shrimp Wontons and Shrimp Dumplings, but I will. Heard about big trio restaurant that it had a great noodles and wonton. We suppose to go to the one at Richmond hill but they were closed. So found this spot. The place looks spacious and when you sit you have to put in your name and phone number for contract tracing. The staff is very friendly there are only two person working at the restaurant. One does the cooking and the other is outsiden. There a combo u can order with the noodle and topping. You can put one or two or three. I chose the fishball, wonton and beef tripe. The foods came pretty fast. The quality of the foods taste good. Will definitely come back here or the one in Richmond hill again. read more

If you order over $20 they give you free small crispy fish skins which are amazing as well. The owners are friendly and the service is consistent, quick and professional.
