$5 small Tom Yum soup and $13.99 Basil Beef lunch. Goopy dish, no taste of Basil at all.

Clean and nicely decorated space. Friendly service. My Basil Beef lunch was too goopy. Loaded with soy sauce. No taste of basil whatsoever. Tom Yum side soup was OK. Remember when a Thai lunch was under $20 anywhere ? Those days are long gone....

This is our work 'go to' for the lunch special. The service is typically excellent, managing turnovers of tables with expert precision and ease. Having gone for lunch several times, you get to know the drill: Tom yum soup, mini spring roll with sweet dippy sauce, and you choice of a number of value lunch sized options. These options include curries, a heaping portion of Pad Thai, chillie chicken and orange chicken among others. Trying to avoid fried items, I typically order the cashew nut chicken, which is steamed rice, chicken, and guess what? Cashews. Each table also gets a pitcher of water and an option for silver chopsticks for authenticity. The value is exceptional comparitive to other establishments in the area, especially for a sit down lunch. For between 10-12 dollars with a soda, you get table service and a good quality meal.

Ordered Chicken, Got Stiff Cracked Skin, not a single piece of chicken. Not worth the price.

This place is a waste of money. Spent $23 for ginger chicken combo with steam rice and I did not taste a single chicken. Everything is deep fried skin with no actual chicken. The service is nice but the food is cunning.

Thai Villa looks like a takeout joint located inside one of those mega plaza that has super sized every stores... But once you walk in and you will be amazed by the nicely decorated interior with all these authentic Thai deco. Lunch Specials for $8.25 mostly a rice dish but good value as it comes with soup, spring rolls and a drink!... Singapore Laksa ($9.99) as usual caught my eyes. Not surprisingly it is not as good as the ones I had in Singapore. But adding extra sambal sauces does makes it a lot more tastier! Lunch Specials - Beef Curry with Rice does have the heat. The beef was first fried then cooked in the sauce so still tender. The spiciness of this dish made my friend face turned all red and sweating. Eating this definitely good for him because it has so much vegetables inside! The menu here is extensive, maybe just too extensive! As usual is hard to prepare a good version of that many dishes. Talk to the friendly staffs, they will definitely give you some helpful suggestion! 10% Grand Opening discount Free Wifi.. maybe I can hang around here a little longer...

Their green curry with fried fish is to die for, it is so delicious every one at our table kept stealing a bite!

We heard that York Region was going back to stage 2 on Monday, my husband and I wanted to support our local restaurants - a friend that stayed over with us were craving Thai food and we took her to Thai Villa. I'm so happy we came here, after my favorite Thai place closed down in Vaughan - it was such a struggle to find something just as great. We called in for reservations for three - got seated very quickly and the service was just impeccable. My friend Vivien got the Penang curry with beef, my hubby got his laksa soup with chicken and shrimp and I got the green curry with fish. The lady was soooo nice when I couldn't make a decision on the curry and some thai places do not have the fried fish - she recommended the green or nyona curry then we asked about more spices added. We are so used to eating spicier food that she brought us plenty of chilli oil - she was absolutely amazing. All of the food were absolutely delish. My hubby finished all of his soup and noodles, Viv and I were struggling to finish our food and took the rest home. She was so excited to have her leftovers for supper when she went home. She also ordered spring rolls which she demolished completely. The bill for everything came up to a whopping 70ish with tip. THAT IS AMAZING, we got so much food - of course the rice and roti cost extra but the bill was half of what I paid for at my fav restaurant in Vaughan and there was LEFTOVERS! We will definitely be ordering take out from here every time we crave thai food. It is absolutely my fav Thai place in the area! Service was amazing, they were super clean and wore mask - great job guys. Can't wait to come here again! Happy eating fellow yelpers and stay safeeeeeee!

Pad see ew and laksa noodle soup. Both very flavourful!

One of my favourite Thai restaurants in the area. Ginger beef and laksa are very good. Curry are creamy and full of flavour as well.

We were trying to support our closer haunt, Thai Villa Aurora but sadly they've closed their doors, hopefully just for the duration. Hope to see them back up and running. We ordered the Pad Thai, Red Curry Chicken, pineapple fried rice, sweet basil beef and the essential steamed white rice. The pickup was orchestrated via a pickup window. Not sure if it was there from a previous fast food joint but wow convenient and perfect for today's conditions! The food was delicious, good portion sizes, just enough shrimp for the 4 of us as each got one from a combination of the meals. In better times I'd hope they put at least 4 shrimp in a dish that had it as there would have been a fight at home if we ordered one dish that had shrimp (2) and fought over them. Hey it took 4 calls to even find a restaurant to support so we're happy to keep these guys lights on and for the "would you go back?" question, absolutely.

Walking inside, you're met with a plethora of Thai style decor. We opted for the spicy rice noodles, pad thai, and emerald chicken curry with rice. The spicy rice noodles had just the right amount of spice without being overpowering, and the emerald chicken curry was light, creamy, and balanced with salty & sweet flavours. The pad Thai ran a bit on the sweet side (instead of tangy tamarind), but it was still delicious! One thing that was a bit annoying was having to pay for a bowl of rice (around $4), since their curries don't come with rice included. We also wished they had pad see ew.

Both the coconut curry and tamarind coconut red curry have very rich, creamy, and flavourful sauces. We had the spice level mild for both dishes, but that was still too hot for me, personally. That has nothing wrong to do with the dishes, but just my personal tolerance level. The coconut curry was a treat to eat. The pork jowl was very gummy and chewy. There was also a fried, battered leaf in the dish to provide a crunchy texture to the dish. The tamarind curry was equally as good. The braised beef was a little sweet and tender. There are also nuts in the dish to provide that crunchy texture. The tofu spring rolls we ordered provided much needed relief from the spiciness of the curry dishes. I would have some spring rolls in between to help subside the spicy sensation of the chilis. The spring rolls was surprisingly filling. Our group of 2 was not able to finish all of the tofu rolls and had to take some home. We ended the dish with a delightful order of mango sticky rice. It was another order that helped counteract the the spicy, burning sensation my tongue was having. We appriciated the vibe and look of the place. There were properly thought out furnishings around the space and the walls. Service was also top tier. Our waiter was very patient explaning the dish description, the spice levels, and also saying how the dish is pronounced.
