Was passing through Barrie and was craving pho. To our surprise they had yummy pho and sushi! Prices are very reasonable. Here's what we ordered: S92. Sashimi Combo A (12pcs) $15.9 - 7/10 S78. Philadelphia Roll $6.45 - 7/10 104.Rare Beef and Tendon $13.45 - 6/10 81.House Special Cantonese Noodle $17.45 - 7.5/10 Sashimi was yummy, but fairly small pieces. The Philadelphia roll hit the spot. The rare beef and tendon pho was pretty standard, nothing special, I would've liked it more if the broth was more flavorful and if there were more tendon pieces. The house special Cantonese noodle was actually my favorite. Deliciously prepared, crunchy how I like it, and just enough toppings of meat, shrimp, veggies to complement the sauce. Just wish they had Vietnamese iced coffee... Our servers were fantastic - super swift and accommodating. They brought us plenty of napkins and extra bowls and plates without us even having to ask. Great food at this restaurant. The staff are all very customer-friendly and welcoming. One of the few restaurants that greets incoming customers with a smile. This is something quite rare these days when you walk into a restaurant for dining in. Place was rather packed but we managed to secure a seat without waiting for too long. Subsequent customers that walked in had to wait for quite a while. It's a popular place especially in the weekends. We ordered beef pho and fried spring rolls. The fried spring rolls are a hit in this restaurant. The ingredients in the spring roll had yam in there which makes it really tasty. The deep fries spring roll is not too oily & fried to perfection. Every time I go to Popeyes I pass this place always telling my fiancé we should go and try it out one night...well that night was tonight, I ordered the rare beef pho (small) the portion was big to me, my fiancé ordered the "Chinese combo" fried rice, chop suey, sweet and sour pork and a substitution of chicken balls instead of a spring roll. I must say it was great but I don't think the pho was as good as the pho's I've had but it's a great alternative especially if my fav pho spot isn't available to me.. read more

Staff were very friendly and checked on us, refilled our waters often. The large pho was very large but I'm not complaining. The broth was tasty with good amounts of meat. I've been in store a few times pre-COVID and it was very clean, and there was great service. At times it would feel slightly cold (as in lonely and distant), but where it lacks in atmosphere it gains in food. I love sushi and I've had some pretty subpar sushi over the years but here its amazing. I usually get the California roll. I got a platter once with other kinds of sushi and it was all very tasty. Went here on a Sunday a couple of months back. Never again. My husband's meal came out, warm not hot. Mine came out 10 minutes later, it was actually barely warm. I absolutely hate to write a bad review but, the food that was served to us at this establishment deserves one! The fact that the restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday afternoon should have been our first warning, we ordered beef pho and general Tao chicken. The soup was nothing more than broth and noodles with greens on the side, the chicken arrived cold, cooked to a non edible gristle with a side of cold broccoli & no rice. We did not eat the food and decided to just chalk it up to a bad experience, pay and leave. The server in broken English, asked us if we enjoyed our lunch, I informed her that it was awful & her response was, good, good, so glad to hear. We had a chuckle on the way out.
