Went for grand opening and it was a pleasant surprise! Service was a tad slow but food was delicious . There are also daily specials for the grand opening. Tried the following : - popcorn chicken ( was okay .. nice as a snack .. nothing special ) - Spicy Mentiako beef udon- this was my fav . Wasn't spicy and was perfect to me - Honey garlic beef rice - tastes very homey like something my mom would make me . Only a few slices of think beef - Mango Supreme Mochi - the dessert soup was good . Ice cream was a tad freezer burnt - Lychee yogurt soda - tasted like sprite with lychee Soda . It wasn't mixed well and tasted terrible Love this new addition to Durham !! Would def drop by again for quick bite

Came here last Friday when they had just opened for 2 days for a quick lunch! I've been to the other locations before (Markham and Scarborough) so I was so excited to see a new location opening in Ajax! They have a lunch special . $18.99. You get to choose a main, side and an iced lemon tea. Their lemon tea is very good, better than even some HK cafes. My friend and I ordered two different dishes - I got the spicy manteiko beef udon and my friend got the Tom Yum cheesy chicken rice. Ordering was easy with the QR code. Restaurant was not very loud and quiet and easy enough to carry a conversation! We chose takoyaki and squid balls and chicken wings for sides (squid balls were on the house) and the food was amazing. The seasoning was perfect and it wasn't overly spicy. Very flavourful and we really enjoyed our lunch. They also have daily deals which we didn't get to try but I love the various choices for each day of the week! They have a 10% promo for soft opening right now as well! We will def be back again!

An ordinary dining experience at Odine…read more I'm quite disappointed with the overall evening I had, from the food to the atmosphere. The restaurant is in dire need of some love and care. It's dated and old with way too much signage. The booths are covered with taped flyers denoting tons of sales and specials. If you have to slash prices in your items and advertise so aggressively your business may be doing badly. Why is there an awkwardly placed drink fridge at the front door? There's signs of damage and disrepair all across the restaurant. It's in badly need of being fixed up and renovated. The bathrooms are filthy, cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere. The light switch is covered with grime. The air vent may be a fire hazard with the caked on dust. The food doesn't fair much better. It's average at best and priced too high for the lower quality of ingredients. I ordered the Maki Set which was coming apart before it got to my table. The Pad Thai tasted too sweet. The spring rolls and fresh rolls were the only two dishes I enjoyed. Savoury and delicious, and full of flavour. The only redeeming factor was the service. Friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The servers do need a uniform though, I'm confused why one of them was wearing Adidas sweat pants. Sadly I don't think I'll be back.

We ordered a wonton soup, salmon avocado roll, beef enoki and rice. My husband really enjoyed the wonton soup. He said the wontons were filled with shrimp and chicken and he thought they were good. I ordered the beef enoki with rice as a gluten free dish and really enjoyed it. The beef enoki had a lot of flavour and they provided me with gluten free soya sauce and ginger to go with the appetizer and it tasted scrumptious and the service was pretty good. We shared the salmon avocado roll and it was really fresh and was well priced. Would we return? Possibly if passing through the area.

Ordered the iced blueberry matcha latte and smoked salmon eggs Benny. The matcha interestingly came in a Sapporo cup lol! Unfortunately the matcha was not that great, didn't really taste the blueberry flavour either. Would skip this. The smoked salmon eggs Benny was decent but the tater tots that came along on the side were too salty in my opinion. Maybe the regular or non brunch menu items are better, but being so far away from this spot not sure if I would go out of way again to visit.

Everything on the menu looked great so we each picked a dish to share, starting with Calamari Poutine, before moving on to Loco Moco, Curry Katsu Chicken Rice, Chicken & Waffles, Spicy Vodka Udon, Duck Confit Tacos, and Crab Mac & Cheese. Plating of the dishes was beautiful, matched only by the delicious flavours. We enjoyed every dish, with no clear favourite. It was all good! This is a great spot, offering delicious food with very attractive presentation. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, and our server was outstanding!

The space is a bit tight and a little noisy. The food is a mix of Vietnamese tapas and classic dishes. I got the milk bread and spring rolls to start. The milk bread came with this durian butter which was interesting... the bread was nothing more than a dinner roll. I love the spring rolls and perfect starter for sharing. I had the pho and it was good. The broth is nice and well seasoned, though not as fragrant as others I have had. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were a hit, the potatoes were so creamy. The chicken rice was average, probably wouldn't order again. The menu is extensive and so much I want to try next time. Sadly the service sucked, they were so slow in giving us menu, water, taking orders. No one checked up on us, and had to flag for the bill. I would come back once more to try their other dishes.

It's a beautiful restaurant though and had good vibes. Service was good although it did slow down as we reached peak lunch time. The items that took the longest to come were the pho but this was acceptable since we weren't in a rush. The satay pho had a good kick to it and there was quite a bit of rare beef inside. Next time I would probably do a little bit of everything for their toppings. I think more noodles could have been added for a large pho but I was full. Next time I'd come to try more of their bbq items and appetizers. It's a bit of a splurge but definitely has a unique menu!
