A modern Chinese fusion cuisine on Yonge street. Ceviche Shrimps' a rare find and incredibly delicious; Truffle Fried Rice is cooked to perfection with generous chunks of lobster; Steak is tender pairs amazingly with the crispy fries and black pepper sauce; Never heard of a combo of Salted Egg Yolk and Tiramisu before, but it's a surprisingly great twist. Looking forward to go back and try again! Service and Ambiance are good too.

We love a good Asian fusion spot! We got their shrimp ceviche, Caesar salad, filet mignon, lobster pasta, wings, and stir fried beans to share. Our dessert ended with the apple ricotta which came with butter cookie crumbles, which was definitely a highlight. Service was attentive, and they came often to refill our water and change our plates. The ambiance is chill with minimal decor, but the food is definitely the highlight. You can taste the unique fusion of flavours!

Nice taste, good service and nice atmosphere. I book it on the call. The boss telling us. They open last week and doing the promotion right now. I will go there next time.

Got the original chicken karaage boneless - I appreciate that it comes with 3 dipping sauces so you can try various flavours and not just stick with 1 flavour like at normal fried chicken restaurants. If you're not in the mood for Katsu, there's other itemskke karaage, baked chicken , rice cakes, or udon. They also serve pizza from Pizza Maru which operates from the same premise. However, the menu was hard to read. The service wasn't super friendly - I almost felt like they were hoping we didn't dine in so they can focus on take out orders. We were the only 2 people that were waiting for their dine in orders and the food felt like it came out slow. The ambiance was quiet. Lots of empty seats. Perhaps it was the day we went, but even if the restaurant isn't busy the atmosphere wasn't as welcoming. Ie, it felt like I wanted to quickly finish eating and leave asap rather than enjoy my meal with my company. Limited parking spaces, but is free.

Lots of seating is available, including comfortable 4-6 person booths. The only downside is that parking right on Yonge is very limited. The menu has expanded beyond katsu to include pizzas, wings, udon, and tteokbokki. The katsu was excellent with its light, crisp batter, and the special set came with a great variety of sides plus both rice and a small bowl of udon. The pizza and wings were also fantastic--we ordered the half-and-half pizza with the signature shrimbul (highly recommend if you like a little heat) and Korean bulgogi. The wings were flavorful and delicious as well. Service was decent, though we docked half a star because some drinks on the menu weren't available (only 2 out of the 5 beers listed). That said, we still had a great experience overall and will definitely be back!

For tapas, we ordered salmon sashimi, beef tataki and corn kakiage (a must try item)! For the main dishes, we ordered the spicy cream seafood udon and tonkatsu. We also ordered cocktails ('drama queen'- a new edition to their menu and 'good morning sunshine.' Service was also excellent. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy izakaya that serves delicious food and drinks.

The octopus appetizer was surprisingly delicious and shocked our palette. The udon was slightly small in portion with more soup than udon noodles. Tempera and the udon were ok, but nothing stood out. Staff occasionally checked to refill water, but you probably had to proactively remind them because they didn't check often despite the restaurant not too busy. The TV showed ice hockey which gave an odd vibe to the furniture and ambiance of the restaurant.

The main portion of the dish is super tender braised pork knuckle (not as weird as it may sound) on a bed of white rice glazed with a house Chinese BBQ sauce. It comes with sides of pickled "sour" veggies (酸菜), cabbage, tofu, and hard boiled egg. The pork knuckle almost melts in your mouth and is so decadent with the BBQ sauce. The sides give nice textural contrast and palette contrast. VALUE (5/5) The pork knuckle rice altogether is $10 plus tax and leaves you full and fulfilled. Great portions and is balanced with good proportion of meat, rice, and veggies. They only take debit or cash. LOCATION (3.5/5) Located on the East side of Yonge St by Northtown Way, it is halfway between Finch and North York Center subway stations. There is paid street parking along Yonge. The store is quite small with 2-3 tables, so would expect to do takeout during peak hours. OVERALL (4.5/5) Really good value for a tasty well rounded meal. I will definitely be returning if I want a quick lunch or dinner with bang for buck. Paired with great flavours and quality of ingredients makes this a nice cheap eats reco!
