Ate at this place for the first time today. At first I missed the place because it looks like it got re designed, but looks much better than what the pictures showed. The atmosphere was pretty good, and the songs pretty much reflected my playlist (reggae/beach music) so I give an A+ on that. Seating was a little confusing at first, did not know we could seat ourselves, but afterwards everything seemed good. I got the Dank Flank burger, which I have to say is dankkk, even by my standards. Even though it's the most expensive burger ($18), I recommend getting it. It's a burger that has flank steak on top of it with avocado, special cheeses. It's hard to describe the taste but I give it an 11/10. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because you do not get a side with your burger, not even fries. You have to pay extra if you want a side. The fries were good, but the side I chose was coleslaw. Honestly I advise not getting it because it didn't seem like there was enough vinegar. Overall they did very good on the burgers, best burger I've had, but if I'm getting an $18 burger, I thought I'd at least get fries with it. That is the only reason why this post is not 5 stars. These folks are doing the tiki bar atmosphere right. The 30min wait turned into about a 5min wait if you're on board with indoor (distanced) seating. The outdoor is perfect, though, with plenty of space and staff to handle all comers. The evenings are made complete with live entertainment from what I can tell as I drive by every day on my way home from work. Even when temps were down in the 50's, they still draw a crowd outdoors. The menu selection is quite varied, and you're sure to find something you've never seen or thought of before. My buddy and I got a large order of tots, and they're SWEET POTATO TOTS [with real maple syrup]! Generous servings and not out-of-touch prices, makes me wonder why I waited so long to check them out. This was a spur of the moment stop while traveling through the area. We were hungry and it had great curb appeal. We were greeted warmly and told to choose where we wanted to sit. We found a nice table for two in the corner outside. There's a great selection of beers, the ones we ordered were ice cold. Definitely try the Stoopid fries! French fries with a chipotle drizzle and bacon, you dip in guacamole. (Don't knock em til you try em!) My husband had fish tacos and I had the steak ones. Ok so love the igloos and that they have a full bar. Now the bad part - I got the steak tacos and perhaps I'll blame it on drinks from the bar but I didn't realize you only got two tacos and that's it. (It does say two on the menu) I figured it came with a side maybe fries or rice perhaps but nope 16$ for two small tacos. Stopped in today with high expectations. These started to go down hill as soon as we sat down. We sat inside and the table was dirty. The waitress (well kind of a waitress, she definitely wasn't looking to provide great or even good service) noticed it was dirty and said she'd be back to clean it. She never came back to the table again. Another girl came and delivered our draft beers. They were warm - we sent them back and asked for a bottle instead. We ordered our food. It came promptly however the order was incorrect. We had asked for onion rings and it was served with fries. No one ever checked on us or the meals. We went to the counter to pay our bill and were told $40 or so dollars. I asked to see the bill and she said a printout? How else can I see it? Of course the bill was wrong. It had our original draft beers on there not the bottles. So new total $35. I honestly thought that draft beers would be cheaper than bottles. Neither were priced. Needless to say, food was average (would have loved to order a lobster roll but $25????? You've got to be kidding!), draft beer was warm, tables dirty, service was non-existent and staff need training and a check on their appearance - not mid drifts showing their fat belly. read more

Great outdoor seating spot with a groovy little outdoor bar set up. The waitstaff is SUPER friendly and great. The fries are some of the best you will ever find. Reasonably priced, quick eats. The only drag is that if it is busy outside for the food and ice cream windows the line goes through the seating area and the people waiting are literally right up on you as you are eating. Place has been here for as long as I can remember, but it appears to be under new ownership. That ownership I believe is a hippie of sorts, or loves music like sublime, badfish etc.. At one point, they were close for 2 weeks or so to I believe tour with a band... Seems like a strange business model. The Food: Burger and micro brews, very good selection of both, and also some fancy type fries. They have about a dozen specialty burgers along with specialty fries of which the names escape me currently. A lot of Jam band type names, like slightly stoopid et al... I'll be honest, I'm a 40 something that loves music and I get it, but when you put badfish friday on your marquee, it's a tough sell ownership. I've taken a marketing class or two, but even if I haven't you have to know that people eat with their eyes and there is nothing appealing about that being on a billboard for a restaurant. just sayin This place is also an ice cream store and that is what it has been known for, for years. I do like the idea of another restaurant up in these parts and I am all about small businesses. I hope everyone will give it a try, it's real laid back, which is the vibe they are going for, and where else can mom and dad enjoy a nice local microbrew while the kids eat their weight in ice cream? Last night on July 4th I experienced the worst service I ever have in my entire life, thus compelling me to write my first review on Yelp ever. My boyfriend and I decided to stop for some ice cream the night of the 4th of July. There was no line, and about 7 young girls working. Despite the lack of customers, our order wasn't taken for a good 5 minutes. As me and my boyfriend stood in front of the window waiting for ONE person out of the 7 there to take our order, the girls did not glance in our direction, ignored our presence, and continued to chat amongst themselves swearing loudly. It was so unprofessional we were astonished. FINALLY someone takes our order because a woman, whom I'm assuming was their manager, said "You have customers" to one of the girls. My boyfriend orders a Moosetrack Frappe, and I ordered a medium ice cream. We did not think this would take long, but nevertheless we were waiting for 10 minutes as we watched not one of the girls budge to make our order. It was ridiculous! They literally were standing around doing absolutely nothing but talking amongst themselves and doing everything possible BUT their jobs. We finally got our orders. My boyfriend takes one sip of his Frappe and looks disgusted. I tried it as well, and it PURELY tasted like milk. We brought it back to the counter and a young girl behind the counter tells me "Well just so you know Moosetrack ice cream really is just vanilla ice cream." WHAT. Baffled by her stupidity, I told her regardless of the ice cream flavor, an ice cream frappe shouldn't purely taste of milk. The girl looked completely at a loss and begged another coworker to make a new frappe because she "couldn't". Like what, JUST throw that frappe in a blender with 3 more scoops of ice cream and you're good to go. I don't even work at an ice cream shop and I know that, common sense. It was so unbelievable...either none of these girls knew what they were doing or they didn't care to. Because Town Docks was so crowded, we decided to go over to Flurries where they had a large open outdoor seating area. I was quite appalled to quickly learn that no employees, including the hostess and the waitresses, were wearing masks. Everyone had bandannas around their necks, as if to go through the motions of attempting to be safe in case a health inspector happened to walk in. We ended up taking our order to go and walking out when it became apparent that they had zero intentions of complying with the state regulations on for wearing masks or keeping with social distancing. I understand that it's now considered ok for customers to not wear masks while seated, but it seems obvious that employees should, in order to protect themselves and others from COVID-19. The fact that they were so nonchalant about everything made me wonder if they actually wore gloves in the back or if they took other shortcuts with health regulations. Definitely avoid outdoor dining here if you are at all concerned about spreading the virus. read more

Yummy burgers! They are greasy, messy, big, drippy burgers. If you don't want to get your hands dirty, dont come here. Our burgers have always been perfectly cooked, so maybe that's an improvement since past reviews stating the contrary. The fries are my favorite! The ice cream is delicious! Just like Ben and Jerry's, don't complain about price if you get a high quality product. We have yet to have an issue with customer service and hope to not have to say we ever have. They allow dogs at the outside seating and always ask if we need cold water for the dog and offer a dog biscuit. They have a doggy Sunday (vanilla soft serve, two small milk bones, and some chopped peanuts) that my dog devours. Only con... i wish they had more shaded seating options. Stopped in for lunch while on vacation this weekend. The Hawaiian luau atmosphere is cute and the environment was welcoming. The metal stools were a little uncomfortable in the dining room, but it didn't deter from my experience. The prices are very fair for the amount of food you are served. Our server was friendly and helped offer some suggestions. I can't remember the name of the sandwich I had, but it was a bacon cheeseburger served between two grilled cheese sandwiches. The burger was seasoned perfectly and had great flavor! It was a little small, but the bacon and grilled cheese made up for that, as they were great! And the fries... out of this world! I ordered a small, and they DO NOT skimp on ice cream at ALL! It was huge!! Very creamy, very tasty! I loved it. I wish we had places like this is California. Im more of a Winter customer and have gone there for lunch/dinner there a few times now and the food had been pretty damn great. Staff is friendly (again, winter customer, can't speak for summer staff). Bacon is thick and flavorful, hot dogs were great as well. But at times their chili is dry and yuck(so I'd pass on that due to inconsistency). Love their seasoned fries (also less salt please, go way too far with it.) I appreciate their craft beer selection too! Ive tried their Buffalo Burger...great, but a bit TOO salty. LESS SALT IS BETTER. Can't say I cared for their vanilla Frappe, it lacks flavor, tastes more like just milk. That can use a bit of a "tune-up". read more

Based on that information we made the ride from Moultonborough. We braved the traffic coming down the hill into town and arrived in the parking lot at 10:45. The young woman who was wiping tables gave my husband the cut sign and said they were closed. People were still sitting at the tiki bar and there were employees in and out.
