Overall, pretty great. Some areas could've been executed better than others. The main issue I have…read moreis that the amount of glue that still remains on the floor has been tedious to remove. I still haven't gotten around to all of it just because there are so many patches of glue on the flooring that they installed. It does come off, but it's just labor intensive. I wish they would've cleaned it a lot better after the flooring had been set and dried.

I would not recommend this company…read more I chose them because the scope I discussed with the account manager included replacing my flooring and installing a new vanity I had already purchased. I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.

Having hardwood floors is wonderful except when they have to be refinished. We put it off as long…read moreas we could and then began our search. We vetted several companies and decided to go with ASA Flooring for several reasons: 1) Responsiveness. Bryan was quick to get back to my inquiry and was at the house to assess the project within a day. 2) Knowledgeable. Our refrigerator had leaked and warped several boards. Bryan explained the pros and cons of board replacement vs letting the boards dry out. We went with the latter and saved money. We had another challenge in the fact that we did not have two rooms refinished which meant seamless color matching. Alfredo was an artist and had an eye for selecting the perfect match. Although the final decision was ours, his experience was a definite help. 3) Efficient. The whole process from start to finish only took three days. We used the opportunity for a little vacation in the mountains and came home to beautiful floors! 4) Professional. Kevin, the project manager, came the weekend before to assess the job site and answer any questions. Alberto hung plastic and taped off the areas to reduce dust and vacuumed any remaining dust before the final coat. It was nearly dust free! 5) Follow up: Kevin did the final walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied. I'd highly recommend ASA Flooring for your next hardwood floor project!

I asked for it to be glued down, tiles selected had instructions for gluing but they were not followed. I was not told during the project the installer was not gluing them down per instructions until the project was done. I am now having to consider replacing it since the floor pops and snaps when we walk on it. I also just discovered that when the trim they removed was replaced the caulk used was kitchen caulk (not paintable) so I had to scrape it off and redo it.

If you can get Chris Brandt, doing business as One of a Kind Floors, to do your flooring project,…read moreyou will be pleased with the results. Due to water damage, we had about thirty square feet of hickory flooring to be replaced and another 25 square feet to be sanded and re-stained. Our insurance agent recommended Chris highly. And at this point I must interject that when I say "if you can get Chris Brandt to do your flooring" I do so advisedly. His is a one-man operation, and he seems to have, deservedly so, a lot of work. Now, we were not in any real hurry to get the project done. This was a good thing, because over a period of many weeks we had a great deal of difficulty in getting responses from Chris to phone messages (his voice mailbox is regularly full), to messages sent to his Facebook page, or to emails--both before and after we got him to come out for purposes of making an estimate. But if you can find a way to squeeze yourself in among Chris's other clients, you will find him to be a craftsman, almost an artisan, who takes great pride in his craftsmanship. He displays a good knowledge, gained by twenty years of experience, of what is possible and how to make it happen. He worked not only to restore the area under repair to its original condition, but to improve upon it. His operation was completely, astonishingly, dust-free--even the sanding. He carefully matched the tint and texture of the flooring left in place, so that it is, after a few days, nearly impossible to see the borders of the new wood and stain versus the old. He kept us informed about the time of his departures and arrivals. Oh, and we found the pricing on this quality craftsmanship to be at least very reasonable, and perhaps better than that.

Chris and his assistant came to our rescue and did an amazing job. He is a true craftsman. He was so respectful of our home during the whole process and kept the work area clean as possible each day. When he completed the repairs, he resealed our flooring and it looks as good as it did when it was installed. The job he did actually went far beyond my expectations. I would recommend him for small or large projects any day. In fact, if you are considering using One of a Kind for any of your wood floor projects ask Chris for my number and I would be happy to confirm this with you directly.

Business: 180 Construction / Eric Wiltse Services…read moreAdvertised: General Contractor · Home Builder · Winterization Location: Colorado Date of Service: October 26, 2023 Amount Paid: $425 Review: I hired Eric Wiltse of 180 Construction in October 2023 to winterize a mountain home in Nederland, Colorado. I paid $425 for "Winterize - Water/Drains/Appliances," which included labor and antifreeze, as reflected on the invoice. The business publicly advertises services as a General Contractor and Home Builder, and I relied on those representations when hiring him, it's my second home and I informed him I was hiring him to do a full weatherization as I was told I needed to do if I wasn't returning for a long extended time . Eric Wiltse assured me he does this weatherization procedure a lot and has many clients who also own mountain home properties to assure me and gain my trust . Prior to the work, Mr. Wiltse texted to confirm that he was in his way to the property to winterize the home at 205 Hazelwood Drive, Nederland, CO. After receiving access confirmation. He later sent text that the work was finished and that he was on his way home. I relied on this text confirmations that the winterization had been completed and everything went well. When I returned to the home last month , I entered the home, I discovered there was no heat, no hot water, and no running water. , my cousin called a emergency # that comes out in the evenings . House had electricity.. no heat or hot water and I was informed by the technician it's not something they can do on this service call. It's serious damage . I called another company who would come to Nederland the next day for help to find out why there's no heat or water. Contractor arrived to inspect and diagnose the issue and determined that the winterization had been performed improperly. Pipes froze and burst throughout the home, and the boiler system was damaged and rendered inoperable . I showed them the detailed bill from Eric Weltse and they pointed out they the bill shows why everything happened . The contractor didn't do a full correct weatherization. Confirmed with the details in that bill. I trusted him to do the right thing It's nothing less than catastrophic damage and the house is not livable with no heat or hot water. I have now received professional repair estimates totaling $31,965, including extensive repiping, water heater replacement, and a boiler system replacement alone is approximately $15,000 This damage was not routine wear and tear. It has been identified as the result of improper winterization work. The scope and cost of the damage far exceed anything disclosed or reasonably anticipated. I have written communications (text messages) from Mr. Wiltse confirming travel to the property, performance of the winterization, and completion of the work. These communications are being preserved as evidence. Due to the extent of the damage and financial harm, I am in the process of filing a civil lawsuit in Colorado court within the next two weeks to recover damages related to this matter. I am sharing this experience publicly to warn others. Winterization in mountain conditions is critical, and improper work can cause catastrophic damage. Anyone considering this company should independently verify licensing, scope of work, and accountability before hiring. 12/15/2025 This is an itemized list a Licensed Contractor sent me what a legitimate Weatherization bill should look like . Not a bill that Eric Wiltse provided correct, itemized winterization invoice looks like (Boiler-heated, vacant mountain home) A legitimate winterization bill would separately itemize each system addressed. Boiler work is always listed as "Boiler" or "Hydronic Heating System" -- never buried under "appliances." Why the boiler is primary * In a boiler-heated home, the boiler is the heat source and often also feeds domestic hot water (directly or via an indirect tank). * If the boiler isn't protected, you lose heat first, which then causes: * freeze damage to plumbing * failure of hot water delivery * That makes the boiler omission the root cause. 12/15/2025 Added a very important Example of a proper invoice, compared to the invoice Eric Wiltse provided to me Is Attached in the images Please read

They provided us with several gym flooring options and took the time to explain the differences between them. Their expertise made the process and decision-making much easier. The finished gym floor looks great, and we're very happy with the results. The entire process was smooth, and the team did a great job. We would definitely recommend Simply Floors to anyone looking for quality flooring and a knowledgeable, professional team!

After connecting with Simply Floors early 2026 because of the shredding carpet and after a couple of inspections and coordination with the manufacturer of the carpet, I now have the replacement installed (June 1, 2026). The installation was a good process this time and the carpet will most likely hold up very well. Good installation, done within a reasonable time frame and confirmation of details beforehand was achieved. Would have given 5 stars if this was how it went in the beginning. Although I wouldn't recommend one company over another, I would recommend solid communication with all involved, especially with the install crew and company together so everyone is on the same page from the beginning and not just futile lip service. Follow-up inquiries are also important. Would I work with this company again---probably, since they came through with corrections.
