Both spaces desperately needed upgrades, and after researching local contractors and gathering several bids, A2Z Builders stood out with a reasonable estimate that fit my budget. I chose them because I wanted Architectural Digest-level design and craftsmanship -- and they delivered. The basement stairs were in rough shape: worn carpet, damaged treads, scratched baseboards, cracked drywall, and poor lighting. I asked for something artistic to replace the eyesore, and they created a beautiful, striking transformation. For the master bathroom, I wanted heated tile floors instead of carpet, a refinished vanity, wallpaper removal, and repairs to water damaged drywall. The results are stunning. Every visitor who sees the remodeled bathroom and stairs responds with an enthusiastic WOW. The entire team was courteous, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life. We talked with several local builders and one in Denver, and the bid from BCH was the most comprehensive as it included real bids from subcontractors in detailed categories, rather than general buckets based on estimates that we received from other contractors. The first bids that came back with all of our wishes were over budget and we had to scale back a bit, and Derek was the first contractor to get us a bid within budget. Given that, the details his bid provided, and his approachable, honest personality we chose to got with BCH, and we are so happy we did! We've been in the house a year and a half now and it's everything we'd dreamed it would be and more. Building a home is a stressful process even in the best of circumstances and it's imperative to have a good contractor. BCH is the best!

Understanding the circumstance, but also willing to wait for the right team, I responded and asked the business to let me know if that changed in the future, as we have several projects in our home and are hoping to bring the same team aboard for all of them. I then received the attached response offering a completely different explanation than before. Rather than acting with integrity, the business elected to tell a lie, as the project was likely not lucrative enough for them. I made no reference to my budget, but the business assumed I would not be interested in paying their prices. I would like to offer a two-star rating, though, as the communication was quite prompt.
