I would not recommend this company…read more I chose them because the scope I discussed with the account manager included replacing my flooring and installing a new vanity I had already purchased. I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.

We vetted several companies and decided to go with ASA Flooring for several reasons: 1) Responsiveness. Bryan was quick to get back to my inquiry and was at the house to assess the project within a day. 2) Knowledgeable. Our refrigerator had leaked and warped several boards. Bryan explained the pros and cons of board replacement vs letting the boards dry out. We went with the latter and saved money. We had another challenge in the fact that we did not have two rooms refinished which meant seamless color matching. Alfredo was an artist and had an eye for selecting the perfect match. Although the final decision was ours, his experience was a definite help. 3) Efficient. The whole process from start to finish only took three days. We used the opportunity for a little vacation in the mountains and came home to beautiful floors! 4) Professional. Kevin, the project manager, came the weekend before to assess the job site and answer any questions. Alberto hung plastic and taped off the areas to reduce dust and vacuumed any remaining dust before the final coat. It was nearly dust free! 5) Follow up: Kevin did the final walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied. I'd highly recommend ASA Flooring for your next hardwood floor project!

Michelle kept everything organized and communicated every step of the way, making the entire process effortless. Randy took the time to understand our goals, answer our questions, and provide thoughtful recommendations that helped us make the best decisions for our home. Roger and the installation team delivered exceptional craftsmanship, worked incredibly hard to keep everything on schedule, and paid attention to every detail. Our project included new hardwood flooring throughout our home, a new staircase and railing, carpet in the bedrooms, and tile work. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, and we absolutely love the finished result. We especially appreciated how well Custom Flooring Specialist coordinated with another contractor who was building our new deck and installing a large sliding door that tied directly into the new hardwood floors. (A quick shout-out to Adrian at Trinity Outdoor Design for his beautiful work and great collaboration throughout the project.) Thank you to Michelle, Randy, Roger, and the entire team for your professionalism, hard work, and commitment to excellence. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and highly recommend Custom Flooring Specialists to anyone looking for exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding communication, and a team that truly cares about its customers.

Business: 180 Construction / Eric Wiltse Services…read moreAdvertised: General Contractor · Home Builder · Winterization Location: Colorado Date of Service: October 26, 2023 Amount Paid: $425 Review: I hired Eric Wiltse of 180 Construction in October 2023 to winterize a mountain home in Nederland, Colorado. I paid $425 for "Winterize - Water/Drains/Appliances," which included labor and antifreeze, as reflected on the invoice. The business publicly advertises services as a General Contractor and Home Builder, and I relied on those representations when hiring him, it's my second home and I informed him I was hiring him to do a full weatherization as I was told I needed to do if I wasn't returning for a long extended time . Eric Wiltse assured me he does this weatherization procedure a lot and has many clients who also own mountain home properties to assure me and gain my trust . Prior to the work, Mr. Wiltse texted to confirm that he was in his way to the property to winterize the home at 205 Hazelwood Drive, Nederland, CO. After receiving access confirmation. He later sent text that the work was finished and that he was on his way home. I relied on this text confirmations that the winterization had been completed and everything went well. When I returned to the home last month , I entered the home, I discovered there was no heat, no hot water, and no running water. , my cousin called a emergency # that comes out in the evenings . House had electricity.. no heat or hot water and I was informed by the technician it's not something they can do on this service call. It's serious damage . I called another company who would come to Nederland the next day for help to find out why there's no heat or water. Contractor arrived to inspect and diagnose the issue and determined that the winterization had been performed improperly. Pipes froze and burst throughout the home, and the boiler system was damaged and rendered inoperable . I showed them the detailed bill from Eric Weltse and they pointed out they the bill shows why everything happened . The contractor didn't do a full correct weatherization. Confirmed with the details in that bill. I trusted him to do the right thing It's nothing less than catastrophic damage and the house is not livable with no heat or hot water. I have now received professional repair estimates totaling $31,965, including extensive repiping, water heater replacement, and a boiler system replacement alone is approximately $15,000 This damage was not routine wear and tear. It has been identified as the result of improper winterization work. The scope and cost of the damage far exceed anything disclosed or reasonably anticipated. I have written communications (text messages) from Mr. Wiltse confirming travel to the property, performance of the winterization, and completion of the work. These communications are being preserved as evidence. Due to the extent of the damage and financial harm, I am in the process of filing a civil lawsuit in Colorado court within the next two weeks to recover damages related to this matter. I am sharing this experience publicly to warn others. Winterization in mountain conditions is critical, and improper work can cause catastrophic damage. Anyone considering this company should independently verify licensing, scope of work, and accountability before hiring. 12/15/2025 This is an itemized list a Licensed Contractor sent me what a legitimate Weatherization bill should look like . Not a bill that Eric Wiltse provided correct, itemized winterization invoice looks like (Boiler-heated, vacant mountain home) A legitimate winterization bill would separately itemize each system addressed. Boiler work is always listed as "Boiler" or "Hydronic Heating System" -- never buried under "appliances." Why the boiler is primary * In a boiler-heated home, the boiler is the heat source and often also feeds domestic hot water (directly or via an indirect tank). * If the boiler isn't protected, you lose heat first, which then causes: * freeze damage to plumbing * failure of hot water delivery * That makes the boiler omission the root cause. 12/15/2025 Added a very important Example of a proper invoice, compared to the invoice Eric Wiltse provided to me Is Attached in the images Please read

The kitchen in our house had tile, but we wanted hardwood throughout, so after we removed the tile, they were able to weave in the same type of hardwood that was already in the rest of the house and it looks like it has always been that way. It's honestly amazing how well the new wood blended with the old. I wanted a pretty specific look and I was really high maintenance about the color choice, but Brian and Eric were super patient with me and treated me with kindness and respect. These guys are SUPER knowledgable and they will tell you if your ideas will work or not, but on top of that, if your idea isn't going to work, they will have a better solution that will still get you the look you are going for, but with products they know will work. They have tested all the products out there and they know what works best. Trust their judgement. They seriously know what they are talking about. The carpet we purchased from them started to show signs of failing after 2 years. Now after 5 years the carpet through out the whole house is failing. after several attempts to contact them by texts, phone messages and email we were told everything was out of warranty. Since we were never told what kind of warranty we were getting we decided to do our own research. first we found out the installation warranty they offer is only for one year, so if your carpet fails after less than 5 years like ours you are out of luck. It's interesting though that many other companies like carpet mill for example offer a 10 year warranty as well as several others who actually offer lifetime installation warranties. we also found out the carpet that we bought has a 20 year warranty. so beware if you buy carpet from Weaver carpets be informed of what warranties they offer.
