I've never done business with this company, but, I'm giving them 5 stars because I love how they don't kiss a customer's ass that complains. I know ALL about the "customer's always right" slogan (I've worked in the restuarant industry for a total of 10+ years as well as two years of newspaper customer service/sales), so trust me, I know that slogan... but, that doesn't mean I agree with it. Kudos to them for standing firm and not giving into someone who is most likely looking for a free hand-out or free cleaning... may I suggest to everyone that you take your shoes off at the front door? It's a simple task that will keep all carpets (old and new alike) looking fresh and maybe even investing in a good vacuum cleaner (such as a Shark) will do the trick! Our son is serving our country overseas and his home was trashed by roommates. Carpets had pet stains (solid and liquid) and they smelled horribly. Doug and Debbie did a great job cleaning the carpets, including changing the pads under the stairway landings, where the pets loved to go. After the carpets dried for a few days, some of the stains wicked up through the carpet and Pro-tek returned to clean those up. Here we are, over a month later and the carpets still look great. I had approximately 300 square feet of Travertine and other tile cleaned and the grout sealed for $500.00. One month later the floor and grout started showing signs of dingy appearance. I called to complain. Debbie came out and said that is the way it works, that I have to get on my hands and knees to scrub the floor/grout. That the cleaning does not prevent dirt. Really.....I know that! But I should be able to clean the floor in a normal manner and have it look clean. Granted, this is a different tile, but my complaint is that I was never told that within one month I would have the floor look close to what it did prior to the cleaning and get on my hands and knees to clean a floor/grout after paying $500.00! I mentioned to Debbie that she may want to tell her clients that a tile cleaning lasts only a month, if at that. Buyer beware! read more

This company is horrible. HORRIBLE. They act like they are partners but they are a husband and wife. I hired them to clean my carpets as my dog peed on the carpet. It was 4 month old carpet. My dog does not like plastic and pees on it. Drywallers came in AFTER the carpet was installed. My contractor is paying for either my home to be carpet cleaned or new carpet since it was his fault. I was trying to either get it cleaned or replace the carpet. I was not wanting to clean the carpet and pay to replace the carpet. I have plenty of evidence that I specifically stated this to the owner Amy. I reached out to this company to see if they could fix it or if I should replace it. They said they "for sure" could get it out. They charged me $680 for (master, hall and steps, family room and living room). They did not move furniture. They went around things. So why was I charged a full room. Instantly the dog pee smell was worse. I complained to them. They said they would come fix it after all of my events (daughter's graduation and other parties) were done. It has been a month. Now they won't do it because they said I had 2 weeks to have them come back out. Funny how they are now claiming this. I am filing a lawsuit against them today. I have witnesses that they left spots on the carpet and smells throughout the house. The house makes me want to gag which is what I told the owner within 24 hours of them doing the carpets. They steal money. They refuse to re-do the carpets and/or refund my money. LAWSUIT is happening. You won't steal my money. And I am posting my story everywhere. People should NOT hire your company. Amy, for you to try and lie about me denying extractions now is funny. My house has a video system. I paid $250 in extractions. Check their website. They have a money back guarantee. Rocky Mtn Pro-Tek cleaned all of the upstairs carpet this May. They were very friendly and on time. I had several dog urine stains and greasy stains from the dog also. They got them all out. I was very pleased. There were a few oil stains from vit. E oil that didn't come out, but they returned and took care of them and even recleaned with portable cleaner a couple spots because the dog had urinated AGAIN in the same spot. I had cleaned it with my steam cleaner, but it still felt sticky. They took care of it. I was VERY pleased and will call them again.
