Over the decades we've been homeowners, we've experienced our fair share of water issues/flooding and have used several restoration companies in the Denver Metro area. This was the first time we used True North and I will say that they were hands-down the best specifically for the actual restoration work. The quality of work they did was excellent. They covered everything with plastic and did exactly as I asked them to with regards to *removing* everything that had mold on it (removing rather than cover with Kilz). They place was left clean and fresh when they were done. However, their communication and follow-up is subpar and highly disappointing. I had to follow up 2 times to get the results for the mold test conducted after the clean up. I also had to follow up for them to pick up their air scrubber a week after the job was done. They do great restoration work, but you have to be active and stay on them with follow-ups until all their equipment is picked up from your house and you have the test results you ordered. read more

I recently finished a remodel of a basement and I wanted to have my carpet cleaned to get rid of the construction dust. I saw a groupon for Spectrum and purchased it. When I made my appointment, I found out they also cleaned area rugs at a very reasonable cost. The technician--Christian-- arrived early (but Spectrum called and left a message telling me he was running early and asked if this would fit my schedule) and very pleasant. He looked at what I need done and got to work on my basement carpet. He then came up and cleaned my living room area rug (I have a cattle dog that sheds enough hair to make a 2nd dog each month)--WOW, what a difference--it looked new! He was quick and efficient. Additionally, Coventry uses a pre-spot solution that has a wonderful citrus smell. I highly recommend them. read more

Service was acceptable for carpet cleaning. I was told they also provide a degreaser product they can use to help remove stains. I asked if he thought the deep and old stains might come out with this additional service. He said yes. After allowing the carpet to dry for 2 days with no traffic (we left town) I returned and the stains were still there. I called and stated that the upcharge for the degreaser didn't have the effect I anticipated and I was asking for a reduction in the "degreaser" service. I was told there was no gaurantee it would help. That is NOT what the tech told me. I asked and he said "yea, that will definitely help bring them out as they are greased based stains". They did a nice job with the regular carpet clean but be wary of upcharges. read more

Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration cancelled my appointment via EMAIL at 8:30 pm the night prior to my appointment. No phone call or text just an email. This after I had coordinated the schedules of 4 children to make sure they were not around during the cleaning , taken off of work to accommodate their arrival window, and moved all of the furniture in the rooms being cleaning. When I called and left a voice message requesting a phone call I did receive one from Kelly the owner. She offered no amends except, "I'm sorry and we can reschedule in a couple of days." As a service business owner I understand things happen but also know that these are the opportunities that will create raving fans or tank your business. I have used Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration twice in the past but it was when Justin and Kelly (the owners) were still performing the cleanings themselves. Apparently they have grown past their capacity to effectively manage multiple trucks and their business. A brief search of recent online reviews seems to support this assumption. Loved how easy their website is and was happy that they were able to schedule me exactly when I wanted. They arrived on time and Nathan and his partner did a great job. My carpets are old and had many pet stains but they were still able to remove the stains and smells. Will definitely use them again! read more

I had my carpets done yesterday and I was very dissatisfied with this company! I called them immediately when I got home and they didn't get back to me u til this morning. After lying to me about what my boyfriend was told about the carpet they refused to give me a refund or fix the problem! Please do not waste your time with company call someone else I had to have someone go in and clean their mess! All these good reviews have to be fake!!! read more

Awful service to set apt he was more their schedule then mine. They cleaned carpet and not very well still had a stain on carpet asked for receipt from this company and they would give us one not only did we pay for a special 5 rooms $129 we also had to pay an additional $60 and the carpet didn't look any better our carpet is fairly new as we just had installed last summer. Do not recommend this place. We will stick with Stanley steamer from here on out. read more

They DO NOT clean very well!!! Left tread marks on my carpet and won't come back to clean my capet again, after SEVERAL attempts to contact them about this issue!!! Keep in mind, we had very soiled carpet and we purchased a Groupon so maybe we weren't given the same consideration as full paying customers. With that said, they showed up on time, actually, early. They were also friendly and professional; my only issue is with the service itself. At the start, I agreed to pay the additional fee for the "degreaser." Don't bother doing this--If you need the degreaser, you need someone willing to take the time to work the problematic areas. We've used plenty of professional carpet cleaning services in the past but this is the first time I've had to go back over it myself once the tech/owner? has left. I've found that carpet cleaners can be hit or miss. This is a great company! Setting up service was easy. The prices quoted to me on the phone matched exactly with what I found online (e.g. Groupon). Our technician, David, showed up on time and did an excellent job cleaning our carpets. I've made a point of saving their information so that I can use them again. We had what ended up to be a sewer line overflow in our basement (new homeowners). When we initially called Justin at Spectrum, we thought we just needed the wet spots on the carpet washed. He came out on a Saturday evening to check it out, and he informed us that carpet that has touched sewer water needs to be removed completely and discarded. So, he spent his Saturday night tearing out our carpet and putting in fans and de-humidifiers. Luckily, he didn't automatically tear out our drywall and base boards. Our insurance adjuster.said that this was the most honest company he'd ever seen do clean up! Justin came out again on Sunday and left the fans and de-humidifiers one more day. When he couldn't come back on Monday, he didn't charge us the extra day. What's more, the bill for the services he did charge us was completely reasonable. I would definitely recommend Spectrum and will be using them again to clean our newly installed, sewer water free carpet! read more

Needed a last minute job.I found this company on groupon. They are the best.My carpets hadn't been cleaned in three years and they were beyond filthy and there was a hole that needed to be repaired. They showed up on time, worked quickly and the results were amazing. The carpets looked brand new. Kool-aid type stains and everything was gone. The were so friendly and personable. I used a Groupon and had them come do some spot cleaning for recent pet accidents (urine) i had already spot cleaned and gotten a good amount up/out. They ended up leaving my entire carpet area mottled with moved around urine so when they left there was yellow blotchy patches on my cream carpet in parts of my carpet that my pet had never urinated near. They also left a blue stain in my master bedroom that looked like detergent or something. I paid the $15 extra for the 'enzyme' to lift up/break down pet accidents more thoroughly and my bedroom had a harsh chemical smell that was so bad (not a natural enzyme smell) we could barely sleep and had to open all of the windows to detox. The master bedroom was left blotchy, too, and really the pet stains weren't pulled up well at all. We had used a different company prior, which was more expensive but did a STELLAR job. When I reached out to Spectrum via email and told them nicely about our disappointment and asked if at their convenience, if they could come to my home for some spot re-do (no hurry I said, just when in the area next), they asked for photos. So I sent photos of all problem areas, in which it was VERY obvious they had done a poor job and left lots of blotchy urine marks and blue stains (more than 1 actually), they then ignored me and never responded to two more follow up emails and a voice mail. Just AWFUL customer service , a terrible job cleaning, left carpet looking worse, and DO NOT stand behind their work. They are NOT worth it and really don't do a good job. I'd rather pay more and have the job done properly. Also, not reaching out to the client to communicate and make things right is not acceptable in this day and age. No excuse, truly. I am an easygoing, not very picky person and they are awful. read more

Our carpet was particularly dirty after a summer of kids home from college and parties and it looks great. Kelly, one of the owner's of Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration just left our home after cleaning our carpet. She did a great job, the carpet looks so much better. We have a special needs dog and he has had several accidents in the house, even though I shampooed them several times with my own shampooer I could not get rid of the stains. She got all of that cleaned up and also got rid of the old wine stains in the living room as well and our carpet is a light beige, builder grade carpet. She is very clean cut, very professional and not pushy at all. We will definitely use them again, when the time comes. read more

I simply can't express how happy I am with the cleaning job done by Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration. I called them in to clean our carpet after another company came in and did a horrible job using the dry method. I was hoping to have the carpet cleaned properly while I still had everything moved off of the floors. I also have house guests arriving this week so I very much wanted this to be resolved quickly. I called Spectrum on a Thursday and they were able to schedule my cleaning on the following Tuesday. Justin was early, very professional & friendly and did a FABULOUS job!! He was able to clean ALL of the dirty spots left behind by the other company and it is overall the lighter shade that it is supposed to be, not the evenly dirty mess that the previous company left me with. My carpet looks brand-new! I am extremely happy with Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration! We will use then again in the future! read more
