So let's get one thing straight up front: Dave can talk!!! I like to talk to and share many of the same interests...but boy can that man talk. You know what else he can do really well....clean the heck out of your dirty filthy vents. I had 30 vents that had not been cleaned since god knows when but Dave came in setup his cleaning system and with several hours the house was clean and fresh. Don't believe me?? Look at the pic...it is friggin disgusting https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=uBcEFjqDFYXaJlOfeDemuw&userid=reuftDkg3oqnCVCcL7NKRQ read more

We found Dave via Yelp. He responded quickly and offered the best price for a couple basement rooms and the (extremely dirty) stairs leading down there. He was prompt, friendly, personable, and did outstanding work, including multiple passes on the stairs, which I feared would never look clean again. They look great. I would hire Dave again in a heartbeat and I recommend you do, too. He'll be the first call when our basement needs clean carpets again. Five stars. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable, Dave was a pleasure to work with. Good value for the service provided!

Dave was just a super awesome guy! I had some water spill onto the carpet from my kids taking a shower and when he pulled the carpet back, we discovered black mold. He was super honest and told me it was more than he could do, so he was nice enough to not charge me, even though he drove all the way out here. It's hard to find reliable and honest businesses these days, so he was very refreshing! Thank you Dave and I will be calling you if I need my ducts and carpet cleaned in the future! read more

I loved how Dave pretreated the carpet and then there were no awful chemicals. He just did it today, so I hope that it will last a while cuz I love it. From the other reviews, I am sure it will. He was prompt in returning calls and on time too! read more

Amazing!! Highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer. Great communication, on time and knowledgeable.

I can't believe it's been 10 years since my first review of First Place. Dave continues to provide exceptional service. Today had him do the whole house and the dryer vent. The floors look amazing. He clearly cares about his work and is about the friendliest guy you'll find around. If you haven't used first place before don't waste time looking for anyone else. Call Dave now. You'll be thrilled with his work read more

Wow! I am really impressed and satisfied with the results. Dave was incredible. I 100% recommend.

Dave is an amazing individual. He's professional, knowledgeable and kind. I will definitely recommend hiring him with my eyes closed.

We utilized the services of 1st Place Carpet Cleaning on 8/29/2024. I highly recommend their services. We requested our carpets to be cleaned as they are old, dirty and a bit worn. Dave did an outstanding job from start to finish. First, he and Sherry were prompt to respond to our request. Dave also called exactly 30 minutes ahead of our scheduled appointment and he was on time. Dave was very methodical and took a comprehensive approach to cleaning our carpets. He was respectful, professional and very thorough. Our carpets have never looked better. I find the overall value of their services to be very high and will utilize them in the future. read more

Very friendly, knowledgable, and reasonably priced compared to the others that gave me a quote!

I hired this company because my new puppy destroyed the carpet from potty training and the color of the carpet attracted any type of dirt- especially in high traffic areas. The owner was very nice and informative and did the job so so quick! My carpet now looks amazing and smells way better! I think my puppy completely ruined the carpet so I don't think the urine smell will completely go away but it smells way WAY better! He also said the enzyme he used for pet smells will keep developing over a few days I would definitely hire this company again and you can't beat the price!! Thank you!! read more

We've used Dave twice, and he's fantastic. Our couch and carpets came out great! Highly recommend.

We were unfortunate victims of the record-breaking rain storms in Denver and had to dry out our entire basement carpet and padding. Two of our friends referred us to David because of his quality of service and speed. David was so professional and treated our need as if it was his own. His work was completed quicker than we expected and with the utmost quality all-around. Our basement looks better than ever and I highly recommend his work to anyone looking for someone with an eye for quality, speed and value. read more

Dave is the go-to guy for all my carpet cleaning. Not only is he very professional, but he is very kind. I enjoy talking to him, catching up about his family, and discussing any concerns I have. He ensures that your property is well kept and that none of his equipment knocks into anything. Furthermore, his equipment is so powerful that it can extract almost anything out! Not only is this good for cleaning, but it is good for drying too. Can't wait to see you again! read more

First rate quality and top notch service! Highly recommend! Carpets always look amazing when done! Return customer for 12+years.

My sump pump failed and my basement flooded. I thought the carpet was destroyed, but Dave saved the day! He called 30 minutes prior to the appointment to give me notice and showed up exactly on time. He brought an air mover the day after the initial assessment to fully dry the carpet pad. He was honest and did the cleaning the right way even though he had to come back a few times since the carpet pad was taking longer than expected to dry (such an inconvenience to Dave!). His communication is top notch- he kept me informed of the process from start to finish. He answered my questions about the products he would use and assured me they are safe for my dog. Dave is friendly, professional and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. He cleaned 3 large rooms and my stairs as well as stretched part of the carpet that had pulled away and replaced some of the carpet pad. The results speak for themselves- this company is incredible! read more

Still good work but dropping down a star because this is the second time he called saying I havent paid. He called months ago and so I sent him a copy of the check he had already deposited. He acknowledged we are good and now he calls again saying his accountant says it wasnt paid. Wtf. I am mad enough not to use him again. Why should I have to dig up the deposited check again??? I dont think he is trying to scam me but he should really get his finances in order or he will lost customers. read more

I hired Dave to shampoo the basement carpet. There were a number of stains I believed would never come clean. Dave had those gone in no time. He also gave me a choice of scent for him to use. I reached out to Dave about carpet cleaning and cleaning the vents of our new house. He was super responsive and easy to make the appointment with. He showed up exactly on time, gave me an honest opinion on the vents, which ultimately didn't need to be cleaned, and got right to work on the carpets! They turned out great and the house smells wonderful. Thanks so much, Dave! read more

Dave was fast, fair and provided quality work for a good price. I'd hire him again in a second.

Had a very good experience with Dave. He did a very thorough job for a reasonable price. Only suggestion would be to let the customer know in advance that he has a really, really big van that needs parking space close by. read more

I spoke with the owner, Dave, and paid him a handsome amount to clean my new property's air ducts. The guy told me he would complete the job in a few hours and would lock up the house along with calling us to let us know. We never received a call. The next day, when we came back to check on the work. All the vents were still filthy and full of debris and dust stuffed all the way to the surface. I went to check on the double furnaces in the basement and found the same problems with dust and debris. I don't trust their body of work. read more

I was looking to have my air ducts cleaned and was referred to Dave. He was incredibly responsive, called to give me a half hour notice before his arrival, and very professional. He walked through the house explaining the process before he began and made sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. He was very thorough and made sure everything was satisfactory. He reattached all my vents covers and cleaned them as well. And his price was very reasonable. Can't recommend Dave highly enough! read more

1st Place Carpet Cleaning did a wonderful job cleaning our carpets! We we're moving out of our home and had the carpets cleaned for the new owners. I majorly regret not having 1st Place Carpet Cleaning clean our carpets while we were still living there! I was shocked at the difference! I didn't even know our carpets we're that dirty, but seeing how clean they were afterwards was quite shocking! David was very kind and was quick and thorough. I would definitely recommend 1st Place Carpet Cleaning for all of your carpet cleaning needs. read more

1st Place Carpet Cleaning did an amazing and thorough job cleaning our ducts. Dave's equipment is state of the art, his attention to detail was as if he was cleaning the ducts at his own house. The price was very reasonable (the quote I received was accurate and no one tried to 'up-sell' me). The amount of dust, gravel, children's toys, tile, animal hair and God knows what that came out of our ducts, made me only wish we had called Dave sooner. Great company, great service, great owners! read more

I had an appointment for 2:00 p.m. on a Monday. I spent all weekend moving furniture off the carpet. I take the day off work. I get a call at 1:30 (30 minutes before appointment time) and am told the "machine is broken." I was told I would be called back and informed on the status of the appointment. After waiting for two hours with no status update, I call only to be informed there would be no carpet cleaning. I get it, things break down when they are not taken care of. I am then told, "I'll try and fit ya in if someone cancels". Of course no phone call all week. I have now been living with furniture stashed in every room with a hard surface for a week. I call another company, they set up a date, email confirmation, text me with suggestions, and best of all keep me informed. Carpet cleaning is a definite pain due to moving stuff. It just makes it far worse when you have to live with furniture everywhere since someone can't be counted on to show up for an appointment. read more
