I recently moved and wanted to have our house cleaned for the first time. We also decided it was time to get the couch deep cleaned, so was hoping we could find a company that could do both. I used Yelp Request a Quote and was happy to find Maids Envy fit the bill. The owner, Ricky, was quick to respond and able to provide a quote and scheduling all via Yelp DM which was appreciated. The couch cleaners (who are also carpet cleaners) came on Tuesday and the house cleaners came Wednesday. Both worked very efficiently, especially the house cleaners who managed to clean our two story, three bedroom place in a little over an hour between the three of them. Overall, I was happy with the job. There were a few things overlooked like the trash in the bathrooms but the big picture was satisfactory! The price was competitive compared with a couple of other quotes I got. Ricky called me after they were done for payment over the phone which was easy and he was very kind. I'd definitely consider opting in for a more regular cleaning with Maids Envy if we want that down the line. read more

I really am disappointed to be writing this as I was overall happy with the service provided. The cleaners who came did a great job and I was looking forward to having them back. The issue here is with communication with the vendor. I was supposed to receive a call after the service to pay via credit card. Would you imagine I had to hound them for a few days in order to pay up the balances? Again , the ladies did a great job and so I wanted to pay up quickly. I messaged Ricky for days before he finally called. Finally, I've been trying to get in contact with him via Yelp and email to try to book another cleaning. I've not gotten a response, so it looks like I am now going to have to find another cleaning service to take my business. So disappointed. read more

Stay far far away. Fraudulent practices. They promised a full move-in cleaning, didn't nearly deliver that, and haven't responded to emails asking for a partial refund. I saw others had a good experience, and that plus their rapid availability led me to pick Maids Envy when I needed my new apartment cleaned because the prior tenant did only some cleaning on move-out and the landlord asked me to take care of it. I emailed with Rick ahead of time, specifying the areas that especially needed attention and asking what the best option would be. He said a move-in cleaning, which I then booked. During my search for a cleaner, other companies estimated my apartment would take 3-4 hours with two people. The cleaners from Maids Envy tried to leave after 2 hours, with the first three things on my list still dirty. I asked them to take care of those spots--like under the radiator and the kitchen cabinets. The two maids were sweet about wanting to know what areas they'd missed, but I couldn't communicate with them much since I barely speak Spanish. We smiled and gestured enough to get clear on what needed more attention. As they finished those up, I watched their work for the first time and noticed they were just pushing around the dirt with rags, not using any cleaner. I found this odd, so odd that I tricked myself into thinking they must have used a cleaning spray earlier and were just finishing off the areas now. After they left, still only having taken 2.5 hours, and having only done a few of the many cabinets and saying there'd be an extra charge for those even though Rick said it'd be included in the move-in booking, I checked the main areas. This confirmed they must have just been pushing dirt around, since you can see the amount of hair and grime left in very central, significant spots like the kitchen and living room floors. I emailed Rick within 48 hours asking for a half refund, since the team did make some areas nicer like the bathroom fixtures and I wanted the maids to get some pay. I emailed again 6 days later, Feb 12. I have received no reply. The cowardice and poor customer service of that led me to write this review. This is the first Yelp rant I've done but feeling like I was intentionally taken advantage of makes me want to warn others. read more

The cleaning was fine, but I got double charged for the service and couldn't get a hold of anyone. We used a credit card to reserve the service but then paid with a check. They both cashed the check and charged the credit card. Couldn't get in contact with anyone for a refund. Update: Eventually I was able to contact someone and they refunded the difference right away. read more

The owner was super responsive with his pricing quote and messages via Yelp, made scheduling my first cleaning super easy. The two maids were prompt and nice, did a good job overall. They had very competitive prices when I compared 8 diff services via Yelp. I paid a little extra to get upholstery cleaning as well. The couch looked good but I couldn't really tell much of a difference in how my dining room chairs looked afterwards though. read more

TL;DR: Save yourself the headache and spend your money elsewhere. I scheduled my move-out services with MaidsEnvy in mid-May and proactively reached out to Rick before our services to stress the importance of a high-quality job (we had a picky landlord) and asked that they particularly ensure that the floors were left in good condition. After MaidsEnvy performed their cleaning services, I was informed by my landlord that he would be charging us for another cleaning as the job done by MaidsEnvy was unsatisfactory. The floors were left with a white residue all over them, and on top of that, the residue from the floors was left all over the bottoms of all our appliances. The cabinets were also not cleaned out, there were cob webs still on the walls, and the microwave vent fan was still dirty. I have attached photos of the condition in which they left our residence. I had to email Rick 3x over 10 days to even get a response, and he only responded because I informed him I would be posting reviews and contacting the BBB if he did not get back to me. He let me know that I was never charged for the services performed, however they had no intention of reaching out to me to let me know there was any issue with my services or anything of that nature. Wow, what an awesome company! The communication with Ricky (the owner I believe) was always prompt, their prices are reasonable, and most importantly, the cleaning was amazing! I wish I remembered the name of my cleaner. :( So I'll describe: A young (30's?) pretty woman who's 1st language is Russian, but her English is very good. Anyhow, we have a gaggle of cats and 2 dogs. Both dogs are double coated herding dogs (a Corgi and a German Shepherd), so they're constantly leaving puppies all over the house. :) She cleaned our floors (1/2 hardwood & 1/2 travertine) beautifully. Our stainless appliances looked brand new again. I wasn't expecting her to clean the sofas...but she did, and there wasn't a speck of fur to be found. My first experience with Maids Envy was for a move out clean. I spent an additional 2.5 hours re-vacuuming and scrubbing baseboards. I also had to request her to redo the kitchen floor. To which she only used water, no cleaning solution. The owner offered me a cleaning at our new home for 50% off to give them a second chance. The second chance was FABULOUS! Loretta and her coligue did an amazing job at our new home. Absolutely zero complaints. I will request them again!! Advice- if you have your own vacuum, request they use yours. My initial interaction was great: they were responsive to set up a first cleaning and the team did a nice and thorough job during that first cleaning. They completely fell apart after that. We were scheduled for a second cleaning and they didn't show up on time. When I called Ricky, their owner, he promised they'd be there in about an hour. They didn't call, they didn't show. I decided to give them one more chance and asked Ricky to send them a few days later. He promised me they would arrive at 9 am. Again, no call, no show. When I followed up, he kept saying they were on their way, but this was not true. Very disrespectful of my family's time and misleading about when they would show up. Reached out via Yelp because of the good reviews, received a message back very quickly and was able to book within a few days. Two people came and cleaned and brought their own supplies. They worked very hard, even scrubbing the ceiling and cleaning the inside of the oven and clearing cobwebs in the basement. They worked HARD for the three hours they were at my house, and I appreciated the cleaning. I even told Ricky that I understood if the cost was higher once they could see the job, and he did not charge me extra. A few things keep me from a higher rating: 1-I speak enough Spanish to recognize "sucio" which means "dirty," And, believe me, I KNOW my house was very dirty, but I don't want to hear it many many times while it's being cleaned. 2-I left a new tub mat in the shower, and when they were done, it was still rolled up in its clear wrapper when they left. I did not specifically ask them to put it down, but that seemed odd. 3-I left a bleach tablet in its wrapping in both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms on the top of each toilet. They were both still sitting there when they left. Again, I did not specifically ask them to put them in the water tanks... 4-They arrived 30 minutes early. I made it work and had them start upstairs while I continued to work on the downstairs, but that was a surprise. read more

I have used many cleaners in the past. When my most recent cleaner moved, I contacted Ricky at Maids Envy. His communication is great (one time they were running a bit late and he actually texted me to let me know... that's a first for a cleaning company). While getting on a permanent schedule, I had two different teams the first time. Both did a really good, very detailed job, especially the second group. However, when Hilda and Chris started coming, my prayers/karma were answered! We have an Aussie dog. She barks. Alot. And loudly! Every cleaner I've used since we got her has been afraid of her, even though she never bites or anything. But Hilda and Chris walked right in and Hilda started talking puppy talk to her in Spanish. My dog looked at me like, "You mean I can't scare this lady and she's going to be nice to me?" I used to have to go in my office with the dog the entire time I cleaning crew was here. But now our dog wanders about. She occasionally barks again, but Hilda just continues to talk to her. It's amazing! Did I mention that they are fantastic cleaners?? The entire house looks great, but they also do little, very nice things. One day before they came, I pulled a table runner that my Grandma had hand-sewn off the dining room table to avoid my friend's kid dousing it in syrup. In a hurry, I just kind of threw it on our wine rack, in a ball. After Chris finished cleaning that room, I noticed that the table runner had been neatly folded and carefully put back. Pros: the owner is very friendly and a good communicator. When my place wasn't clean after the ladies came (see cons), he was polite and friendly and had the ladies come back no questions asked. The bathroom looked great. Cons: They didn't do a great job in the rest of the place and it was expensive. My place is 780 sq ft (1B 1B) and it was vacant as it is a rental unit and they charged $218 for a deep clean. They didn't clean the registers, crown molding on the cabinets, the backsplash or the lazy Susan. There were still dead bugs in the window wells. Would I use them again? No. read more

I have used the service prior to COVID back in 2015-2019. I went online to pay for a 6 bedroom cleaning and paid 310 dollars online. My order was placed on May 16th, 2021, and was confirmed for the 19th. They were supposed to come between 8-10am but never showed up. Later that night, I got a confirmation email saying my card was charged and was asked to rate the service. I have called about 50 times, the number does not answer. The mailbox is completely full so no voice message can be left. I am calling my bank to reverse the charge. This is terrible customer service. read more

I needed a cleaning service to come clean my mother's house that we are putting up for sale. It was going to be a big job since there is five bedrooms and two bathrooms in the house. It was easy to setup the appointment and the cost were explained ahead of time. The carpet cleaner guy was awesome and did an amazing job. He was fast, efficient and professional. The cleaning ladies were another story. The did decent job overall but left some areas, such as the window blinds not cleaned at all and seem to selectively deep clean areas or parts of rooms. They also threw away or took supplies that were at the home that I informed them not them to touch, throw away or mess with. All in all despite the great job the carpet cleaner did and how responsive the owner initially was, I won't be using maid envy again due to these cleaning ladies. read more

We scheduled a booking from Maids Envy for an arrival time of 2-4 p.m. The cleaners did not arrive until 6:00 p.m., and there was absolutely no communication from the Maids Envy team about an estimated arrival time. I tried calling the number provided and no one answered, and the voicemail box was full. I emailed the contact provided and got no responses. The arrival time did not work for us, and so they did not complete the service. I was charged for the service anyway. Overall, super average and don't expect them to be on time. I booked Maids Envy for a move-in clean online. I booked the arrival time to be between 10-12pm for a Saturday, which is already a big arrival window. Noon came and went and no one called me to update me on arrival. I called 4 times and the phone when straight to voicemail. I also sent an email. No response. The crew showed up at 1 and didn't say sorry or anything. I got a call at around 1:30pm from the owner who said he was on a plane. He also did not apologize, he said "all that matters is that the crew is there now".No that isn't all that matters, they were an hour late of a 2 hour arrival window. I have other things to do in my day than wait around. I just would really like to have good communication. If they called and let me know "hey we are late we will be there at x time", I wouldn't feel so frustrated. Please communicate better. The cleaning was average. They did a good job on the windows and in the kitchen appliance. However, they used a dirty mop and I knew because when I wiped a hair off the floor, the floor was black and they didn't wipe off the counter tops in the kitchen. Was interested in getting a reoccurring weekly cleaner but won't be using Maid Envy. Overall, just average or even less than average. read more
