The process to book with SureFire to begin with is so simple! I needed a last minute BLS course for work and I was able to make a last minute booking! I showed up to class and Swish(Samantha) and Katie were my instructors and they were AMAZING! They made class both FUN but still very professional. I learned a lot but still had some laughs. After you finish your course you receive your certificate the next day which comes in handy especially if like myself you needed to renew ASAP. It's always nice to continue these courses because you learn tips and tricks that you have never learned before! Not only did I renew my BLS but they helped me renew my confidence in going back to work after some time off. I feel confident knowing I'll be able to use the skills I learned from this course in my line of work! Definitely call ahead of time and ask if Swish and Katie are working- take their classes! Thank you SureFire!

My first experience was as a walk-in, and I recommend arriving about an hour early if you plan to do the same. They give walk-ins a number, and if people with appointments don't show up, walk-ins are admitted based on their number. The class was fun, engaging, and very educational. We learned CPR techniques for both infants and adults, as well as important first aid skills. As an educator, I feel it's essential to know these life-saving procedures and be prepared for emergencies. I appreciated that the class covered more than just CPR and included valuable first aid information that can help you in real-life situations. The instructor was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire class. He made sure everyone understood the material, regularly checked in with us, answered questions, and ensured that everyone stayed on track. His teaching style made the class enjoyable and easy to follow. The class was about three hours long, but it went by quickly because it was so interactive and informative. I left feeling more confident in my ability to help during an emergency. Overall, I highly recommend the CPR classes at the L.A. Care Community Resource Center in El Monte. The training is free and well worth your time. I'll definitely be coming back when it's time to renew my CPR certification!

I participated in a small group private CPR training session at my friend's home for 9 people. We focused on infant, child and adult CPR and choking. William is a wonderful instructor. He made the class very easy to follow and walked us through the process of what to do in an emergency situation, including seeking consent, assessing the person in distress, when to call 911, and how to perform CPR and help with choking. We practiced the process a few times with CPR manikins (different ones for infants and children/adults). William observed each of us and helped with tips and corrections as needed. We talked through various scenarios, and he gave us opportunities to ask questions. The manikins were very clean, and he also provided one-time-use gloves and sheets to cover the manikin's faces. Some tough topics are bound to come up in a CPR class - it's not easy to talk about scenarios of people in distress. William's experience in discussing these topics definitely showed. He is matter-of-fact but gentle in describing situations. The course was $40 per person. You can get a certificate as an add-on, which you can chat through with William if you are interested.
