As a healthcare provider I've taken several classes when it comes to BLS, ACLS, EKG, etc. but this time I just had to write a review because it was the BEST class I have ever taken! The process to book with SureFire to begin with is so simple! I needed a last minute BLS course for work and I was able to make a last minute booking! I showed up to class and Swish(Samantha) and Katie were my instructors and they were AMAZING! They made class both FUN but still very professional. I learned a lot but still had some laughs. After you finish your course you receive your certificate the next day which comes in handy especially if like myself you needed to renew ASAP. It's always nice to continue these courses because you learn tips and tricks that you have never learned before! Not only did I renew my BLS but they helped me renew my confidence in going back to work after some time off. I feel confident knowing I'll be able to use the skills I learned from this course in my line of work! Definitely call ahead of time and ask if Swish and Katie are working- take their classes! Very prophesional both Ericka and Kyle both were in detail n to the point ,, I learned all the other stuff that no one else explained. For example I earned how to use the EpiPen for the first time .. I didn't know u can use the adult AED pads on an infant .. guess,,, u can n they showed me how to place them.. they were on time .. class was not delay.. I'm totally in love this people since they are nurses .. made my day go easy!! Had my BLS class today with our instructor Swich. She was very knowledgeable and her teaching techniques made the class fun. Location was great with plenty of parking they also provide snacks and coffee which was great while we waited for the glass to start. I have been using SureFire CPR for over 4 years now with different instructors each time and I have never been disappointed. Every time I walk out, I leave feeling confident that I am able to perform CPR or abdominal thrusts on an individual in need. I believe the cost for this course is about $79, but I do not mind paying as it is close to home even though my work does not charge anything through the company. I love the convenience of not having to deal with HR or make calls to get an appointment. I can set up my own appointment with Surefire online. I had Jose this year and he was outstanding! I took the HYBRID BLS course for renewal. It was fantastic! I was able to easily accommodate my schedule and get it done quickly. It is literally available 24/7. The facility for the assessment was clean and well appointed. I loved that I didn't have to talk to anyone and didn't have to worry about being embarrassed retaking the assessment a few times since I'm the only person in the room. I had to get my BLS for Healthcare Providers & Hospital Fire Safety certifications for grad school. Due to covid, the hospital fire safety class was offered as an online 4 hour course through zoom. It wasn't bad because it was interactive and informative. Since it was through zoom, everyone needed to have their cameras on to ensure that you didn't let your computer sit to get your certification. I also got my BLS and that was in person. They followed covid regulations and it was 8 students and the instructor so 9 people total in the room. Everyone is required to wear masks and the mannequins used were sanitized. I would definitely recommend it! Only one thing that docked off the rating was that I emailed 4 days prior to my BLS class asking about how they are handling the covid situation and what regulations they had set in place because I was nervous and anxious about the in person class with half strangers (I took the course with 4 classmates) and I did not receive a response back even though their website said that a response is typically 24h.. definitely did not receive an email from them. I was lucky to have a friend that took the course a day before me and she told me how the set up was like. read more

I have taken 2 classes - 'Hospital Fire and Life Safety' (Online) and 'BLS Providers' (On-Site/Campus) just a day apart. Hospital Fire and Life Safety This is my first time enrolling in such a course. I don't really have any other training provoders to compare it to. However, the training format is convenient-online via Zoom meetings (Live, not recorded) BLS Provider The BEST class, so far, that I have taken for BLS Provider training! Scenarios presented by the instructor Mayson are from real experiences. Much better than just watching videos. It really helps to put you, the student, on what to expect on the field. A realistic expectation. A fun and learning environment-not boring compared to other BLS classes I attended in the past. Parking is quite nice. Outside environment is pretty much quiet; situated I guess within the area of just office buildings and industrial/commercial warehouses. I think the building has only few tenants so that maybe the reason why there are still a lot of available parking space and quiet. Instructors from both classes are knowledgeable and works on the field; not just working behind a computer but actually on the field. read more

I simply trust this place in their ethics and the amount of useful & valuable information to take with me into my work settings. The staff here is very friendly and professional. I want to give a shout out to instructor Austen for being amazing at teaching students on ways to remember tough abnormal heart rhythms and apply to real life situations. He is so knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. He makes us feel like we want to learn more and not just to fulfill yearly requirements. Having attended the live session and on line class, comparing the two, I prefer the live one. We take this course every 3 years, and that's a long time. I took the BLS course today and I had a great time. I had taken this course prior about 5-6 years ago with a different instructor and hated it. I just didn't like the place I had taken it and how they taught everything. I also felt like I didn't learn much but today I took the course at SureFire CPR with Ms. Swish and she was honestly the best. I have been a long time SureFire CPR student in the past, because let's face it their instructors are current, and former healthcare professionals that are working out in the field day in and day out. With that said you know you're getting the best knowledge and real life lessons possible. Now where the one star comes in, is MANAGEMENTS DECISION making. That has had me go elsewhere for my recertification and certification needs. I'm not writing this out of anger or frustration or looking for a pity party or a discount on my next course. I'm writing this review to simply state how my positive and good impression of SureFire CPR has turned negative and directed me towards other places that offer more. I interviewed for an instructor position once before and NEVER heard back from the hiring Manager (Nick Pellerin) even after he gave me an estimate of when to hear back from him. After multiple calls and emails, I get an email from him basically saying we're sorry but thank you for your time. Months later I decided, "let's apply again" so I did that, I mean I have current 911 experience and within the hospital setting (currently) so what can't I bring to the table right? Once again Nick contacts me after I upload a more accurate resume and then radio silence for at least a week. It's been a month an a half since this last application and once again just received an email this time stating they are fully staffed. Well that's just unfortunate for both sides. Customer/student lost and like wildfire, words spreads pretty quickly. read more
