They are absolutely the sweetest people in the world! The place is clean and modern looking. I took my son in to get a covid test and antibodies test. He was incredibly anxious for the finger poke and they were so patient and nice. They brought him treats, let him watch the iPad, practiced the poke on me, so many tricks. I took my ACLS renewal course at code 3 yesterday and I must say, this was the most fun and informative ACLS course I've ever experienced. Our instructor, Joe, was hilarious- the guy should be a stand up comedian- and at the same time he is super smart and able to explain complex concepts in simple ways that one can understand more easily. Joe is an excellent teacher. The entire course felt interactive and engaging. We had plenty of time to run mega codes and practice with hands on manikins. ACLS and BLS renewal is NOT fun. UNLESS you do it with these guys. Joe is great. He recognizes your skill level and works with you accordingly. Let's face it, some of us need to know ACLS through and through, have worked many codes, and have the algorithms memorized. Others may work in the (Derm) Office with Michael Scott and the only time they see CPR is the episode when Dwight performs an organ harvest on the rescue mannequin: "No Rose, she's not breathing, and they have no arms and legs." Came here yesterday to renew my ACLS. The instructor was Joe, who was very friendly and kept the class from getting too boring. I've taken ALCS before, but at a different place... and it was stressful! I was stressing out about having to do my renew based on previous experience. I was also stressed out because I took ALCS right before they changed stuff and people were telling me that its harder and more confusing! However, this place was low stress!! Joe taught the info well and made it very clear and easy to understand. I liked the way the class was conducted and it was very nice that they had water, coffee, granola bars and some candy out for the class. These classes are long... and you do get hungry!! I helped myself to a granola bar and some water. It was good enough to hold me over till the end of class! I will definitely be coming here again to do my renewals!! I will also recommend this place to my friends and co-workers! It seemed like I was the only new person in the class as everyone else or most everyone else were repeat students! Many in the class asked very good questions which all could benefit, and if she didn't know the answer she honestly said so. FRED is an incredible instructor, 2 thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I took my first ever Pediatric CPR/First Aid class this morning at Code 3 Life Support, and I am sooo glad I did! Being a nanny is fun, but when kids put stuff in their mouths I always get a bit nervous! But after today, I am now confident that I can save a life, if need be! I renewed my ACLS this year with them. Super convenient because I was able to complete the majority of the program online so I worked on this between patients at work. I could push pause and come back to it later. I think doing this program online is amazing for anybody who has a busy schedule and needs convenience. Once I finished the online portion, I then went into their Allen location and took the hands on exam. Everyone is super friendly there.
