Long post! This isn't our first visit, so I'll do a recap of our first experience and then get into our recent visit! They ask for a recent rabies shot verification before any services are provided. When we first got our cats Jade and Solo (2021), we were looking for a cat grooming place. A lot of groomers don't service cats. We stumbled upon this location. What sold us as a returning client was the "application" portion. They had you fill out some paperwork before getting your cats groomed. A few questions were about the level of stress your cat. Questions like would allow the use of cbd oil, or would you be able to be in the same room as them to calm them down. As a first-time cat mom, this made me so happy! Okay! Fast forward to 6/18/23: We called and made an appointment for all 3 of our cats to get groomed at the Arcadia location. We got a text and email notification of their appointment. The day prior, we called and asked if it was possible to add a service to our long-haired cat. The service we wanted was something they don't recommend to first-time shavers, and they didn't have time available (on the same day as our appointment) to so they recommended a belly shave. Upon checking in, we told them we found a flea. We asked what their protocol for a contaminated carrier was because we had a cloth one. They said we could drop off the cats and take the carriers with us home to get them washed before coming to pick them up when they're finished. Not a problem, considering we were already doing a deep clean of the house while they were away. During check-in, we were wondering if it was possible to add a flea bath to their service. They were kind enough to do so. We had two groomers, Nicole and Noelia. I told them which cat was who, and they took them inside and gave us back the carriers so we could clean them. Jade: luxury spa, sugar scrub, flea bath Solo: luxury spa, flea bath Sabine: luxury spa, flea bath, deshedding, sanitary trim, and full belly shave (our most expensive kitty because she is a long-haired cat) $246 for all 3 cats (I tipped them 25% because of all the last-minute adds and how they accommodated us with our current situation) All 3 cats took about 3 and a half hours, maybe even four. Their appointment was at 12 pm. I dropped them off a little earlier than that. Received a phone call at 3:29pm, letting us know that the cats will be done in 20 minutes. In between those hours, we were able to deep clean the house using chemicals, so it all worked out, lol. At pick up, I was presented a "paw"gress report. Not gonna lie, I look forward to these every time! I wanna know how my babies did! They also gave us little treats for them, and they always come home with some sort of cute accessory around their necks! One of the groomers told me during sabines sanitary trim, and they found a worm coming out of her butt so I gotta make a call to the vet! Things like this make me feel that my babies (cats) are really being taken care of! When I got home, they came out of their carriers with a cute banadana around their necks! Each time after the groomers, they have a cute accessory on them. They looked so pretty and handsome! They also feel soft and smell clean! The cool thing about this place, if you can't go to them, they can come to you using their mobile service! Returning customer for sure!

Student review I had the best learning experience with West Coast Grooming Academy. The Teachers( Huber ) were amazing , very patient and knowledgeable for every step of the way. Helped me to prepare for a real world experience. I'm very thankful for all the support from the teachers. They are amazing and I'm so proud to be a West Cost Grooming Academy alumni. Student review I have my own dog boarding and daycare business and I wanted to add dog grooming to my services. I searched a couple places throughout the western US and found WCGA. I was extremely fortunate to pick and find them. They have some amazing instructors that are patient and let you have room to grow and learn. Huber Pineda was my main instructor. I'm truly grateful for him in helping me expand my growth as a groomer. For a beginner dog grooming course I found it to be excellent. I just wish that I had more time interning with them after graduating and receiving my certificate. WCGA has quality grooming instructors and I would highly recommend anyone interested in the grooming world to go here. This is a fantastic learning environment! I still have much to learn but I had a great foundation here.

Extremely happy with the services provided! I have taken my dogs there twice now, and have had zero issues! I have a German shepherd that is very nervous, and a super easy going doodle mix that can be difficult to cut without looking awkward. They do an amazing job with both of my babies! I would recommend this team to anyone!

It was easy to get an appointment. I also loved that the receptionist gave me suggestions on a time that would work best for them so my dog wouldn't be in a kennel for his first time. Randy was so patient and explained everything so well before Tobe's first grooming. And he emphasizes going at the dogs pace. We all want this to be a positive experience and I'm feel that'd what my baby had. After the grooming, Randy gave me an update on how it went and I really couldn't be happier! Tobe was a happy guy and also seemed to like it

Love this place. My dog comes here ever 4 weeks, like clock work. She gets groomed and pampered. She has been coming here for her entire life, 4 1/2 years. Everyone there is always so kind and love my girl. We always make appointments with the students. The students are well supervised and she always comes home looking good.

I like to show her reference photos I find online of similar looking dogs and explain to her that I want my dog's fur "not too short but not too long" with teddy bear face. He comes out perfect every time and his legs are the perfect length every time. Before I leave, she always makes sure I'm happy with how he looks and adjust/trims if I am being nitpicky (me problem). I don't particularly like the fresh cut look because it looks too "clean" but he looks absolutely perfect in like 2 weeks when his shag comes back! I can tell how much she loves her job by the way she speaks to him. I've gone to many many many groomers in my 20 years of dog ownership and I am loyal to Bluemoon! She is really flexible with appointments and I usually call a week in advance to get an appointment and she always has availabilities based on my schedule. I drop him off, remind her what I want, and pick him up when she calls/texts me in about 3 hours! It's in a shared lot with other businesses like a laundromat and more but I've never had issues finding parking.

The staff are super friendly and very gentle with my senior corgi, and love how genuinely they care for my baby. They treat your fur baby as if it were their own. I'll definitely be coming back!

I scheduled an appointment and clearly explained the…read moreservices I wanted for my dogs. I also asked ahead of time if they accepted Apple Pay or tap pay, and was told "yes." When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk woman (didn't get her name) immediately seemed irritated. I let her know I was there, and the only response I got was, "Time?" I then noticed a sign stating they only accept cash or Zelle. Since my Zelle isn't working at the moment, I asked to confirm if they accepted Apple Pay or tap pay, as I had been told earlier. She looked at the sign and responded, "No, only cash or Zelle," in a very rude tone. I tried to explain that I had previously been told otherwise, but she cut me off mid-sentence and said, "NO WE DON'T, ONLY ZELLE OR CASH." I understand that payment limitations aren't necessarily their fault, but my issue is mainly with the attitude I experienced. When I asked if I could reschedule instead, she sighed, opened the book, and said, "Day and time?" She seemed annoyed and clearly didn't even want to serve or talk to me by her demeanor. At that point, I decided not to move forward and told her I didn't appreciate her attitude. As I was walking out, I could hear her slam something down in frustration. I've been here before when they were located near the trail and had a better experience, but unfortunately, this visit was disappointing due to the lack of customer service. Never coming back here again.
