I am extremely pleased with the service Taylor and her mom, Rodi, gave us! Our boy Zeus needed to get his nails trimmed and Taylor did an amazing job. You can tell how experienced she is by the way she handled my squirmy boy. I would feel uneasy watching people cut dog's nails because they've cut too much and hit the quick. Taylor eyeballed it and was able to cut a lot of his nails off without him bleeding! And she even had more space to file it down! I am so happy we found this groomer! We have a large, 6 month old puppy. We had her groomed at other places when she was smaller and it was way more expensive. This place is not only reasonable in prices but they took such great care of her. She looks and smells amazing!! She's a dirty pup so she loves rolling around in water, dirt and mud. She is hard to get clean, but they were able to make her soft, clean and smelling good!! They were very polite and professional. I am so happy to find a groomer I can trust. Finally got my dogs groomed here! I always have such pleasant experiences with the the team since my dogs and I pass their place on our walks. Today, I took my senior dog Athena to get groomed and she came out so fluffy! Taylor took such a long time keeping her comfortable and making sure she was okay and she did such an amazing job! It was so hard finding someone new who lived up to her standards and offered the same business values Guess what, she is now on the Temple City/Arcadia border with a terrific grooming business on Live Oak Ave. (across the street/(back side of CVS) Rodi is experienced, reliable, loving to the animals and does a fantastic job. I have a terrier, and two poodles, but, she as bathed and clipped my former pets, a Pekenese, and Bichon. They always look great and get excited when I mention Rodi by name, they run to the door. This review is LONG overdue, but I will always thank Rhodie and Taylor - a DYNAMIC duo - until the end of time. They've always taken great care of our stubborn lima bean of a corgi. Not only is their pricing reasonable (even with inflation skyrocketing), they've been professional since day one. I'll always remember Ginger's first visit when she came home a little bit fatigued but smiling... with her new little bow for July 4! I've never had any doubts handling over my little sister to these two. They knew exactly what to do and what not to do (a decent blow dry with NO shaving of a double coat). I would pay them a million dollar tip if I could because they go above and beyond. I'm sure there are things they don't tell me - how much she bites or gives them trouble when nail cutting - but I can't thank them enough for their discretion and patience. Now that our dog is getting older, I fear her visits could be much less frequent. But nonetheless, Taylor has been very understanding and communicative through this process. Thought I would give this a try since I live 2 blocks away. Dropped them off at 8 and both were ready by 11. I didn't notice this right off the bat ; but both my babies had so much loose fur/hair in their eyes!!! I had to flush each of their eyes . . . What kind of groomer doesn't notice the irritation this causes the dog?? Oh btw : they take cash or check . Going back to Go Go Spa on Rosemead. My daughter found this groomer by reading reviews on Yelp. Doggie Depot had positive reviews, so she decided to take my Mom's dog, Chico, for grooming. Shortly after arriving home, I noticed blood on the bed, I picked up Chico & noticed he was had blood on his paw, head, ears, belly; so I wasn't quite sure where it was coming from. Quickly realized it was coming from his paw; his nails were cut too too short. I applied pressure, wrapped it. He was in the kitchen, removed the wrap to notice there was several spots of blood under the kitchen table; he was bleeding alot. His bed was bloody too. I called Doggie Depot because no one said anything about the incident when he was picked up. I continued to apply pressure but the bleeding just wouldn't stop. Decided to take him to Pet Co to see what we can do for him. The groomer was nice enough to quickly take him in to apply Quick Stop. She said 2 of his nails were cut way too short. Rodi called me back this morning. I informed her of everything I mentioned. Rather then apologizing; she said "I'm looking at the floor now, there is no blood. I'm walking around, I'm outside; I don't see anything". I didn't appreciate that response because basically she was discrediting what happened. She finally did say they cut one nail too short and applied Quick Stop & it was fine; but said it was only one, not 2. We would've appreciated being informed of this when Chico was picked up. She made it seem like no big deal, that walking on the cement could've made it bleed again. She offered to bath him again, but I politely declined. At the end of our conversation she said sorry. It's possible this was a fluke thing but as a customer; a different response wouldn't been appreciated, in addition to being let known this happened. read more

Rodi has been grooming my 10 year old Shih-Tzu for about 2 years now. She does such a great and consistent job on the cuts and is always sure to point out any abnormalities she notices in my dog. In the past, my dog usually runs away when she realizes we are approaching the grooming salon, but she doesn't at Rodi's! She wags her tail and walks right in through the groomer's gate on her own! Says a lot!!! Another plus is that Rodi is always flexible with her hours to accommodate my work schedule. We love it here! read more

My shitzu/maltese recently found me. We are naming her Daisy. Her hair was very unkept, not sure how long she has been roaming outside. I've never been to a groomer, but Rody was really nice and took the time to share her knowledge. Daisy was super cute after her appointment. She really took to Rody and enjoyed a bit of pampering.
