There were a lot more videos than I expected, and it was a 2 hour class instead of 4 like it was listed as. A large majority of the full CPR, AED, and First Aid class was spent sitting there watching videos. We did get to practice some and have questions/answers for the CPR and AED parts. But the First Aid portion was all sitting and watching, not getting to practice or apply anything. The teachers were cool and there was free parking. But overall, it just fell short of what was expected and advertised as. read more

Ziva has been helping me and coworkers for years. She's thorough and efficient. She's easy to get to (so long as you're not trying to take a left into the plaza in the middle of the day) and has flexible schedules. I wish I had an excuse to see her more than once every 2 years but I don't would he lost without her automatic renewal reminders. Can't recommend her enough for your CPR needs. read more

Straight forward teaching. Easy to work and scheule with. I will be coming back for any other certifications. Highly recommend!

I took this class 6 years ago and again this week. The quality is absolutely the same...fantastic! The instructor gives great information, the pace is appropriate and you get plenty of practice. She reiterates what's really important so it sticks with you. I have returned because I truly enjoyed it that long ago and also recommended it to coworkers. Thank you Ziva! read more

Excellent Experience with Ziva! I had a great experience taking the CPR class with Ziva at A Plus CPR 4 Less. Ziva is a phenomenal instructor--she is incredibly knowledgeable and presented a ton of information in a clear and effective way. I truly appreciated her expertise; she made sure we understood all the necessary techniques and theory. The class always started on time, which was excellent for keeping the session efficient and on schedule. The only minor drawback was the lack of parking in the area, so definitely plan to arrive early to find a spot! Overall, this was a fantastic, high-quality course. I feel much more confident and prepared to respond in an emergency. Highly recommend Ziva and this training for anyone needing their certification! read more

A week prior, I signed up for red cross. I looked up locations for ventura area. Found a location close to my house. But, once I hit pay. It redirected me to Santa Monica. Horrible. They told me the day of training, I didn't do the online training required before taking the class. So I had to reschedule. I looked up American Heart Association and found Ziva Halpert 7 miles away. I called and she said come over. She really saved the day. I will always use her. read more

Incredible class! I've been meaning to take a CPR class for years and one of my friends said he was taking this class and I said ok I will come with you. Funny enough in the class there is a video of people that procrastinate and I was one of them in this matter. The class is very informative and teaches you about all the necessary things you will need to know about almost all dangerous subjects. CPR was my main focus but then a few videos were shown about , injuries, broken bones, burns, bit from Animal etc. I really enjoyed the class and the teach was incredible knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely think everyone should take this class and I certainly thing I will take it more than once now to make Sure I keep up with it and never forget how to do the proper steps. As a healthcare professional who needs CPR renewal every so often, I've come across a few instructors. Ziva is by far the most incredible instructor I've had. Not only does she teach the basics but she really pushes you to think outside the box as if you were put in a real emergency situation. I love that she shares true personal situations that herself or her past students have been in. I've never felt so confident about my skills! I've been coming here with my staff for 3 years now and I won't go anywhere else! Thank you Ziva! You're the best read more

I took the BLS for Healthcare Providers course Unfortunately, I procrastinated and leaving myself with just one day to renew my certification. Booking was incredibly easy and convenient, and Ziva was kind enough to accommodate my last-minute request (literally last minute). I got my certificate sent via email later that night. Ziva was fantastic - a great instructor who cares about her profession as a CPR instructor. I was the only student for the class at the time but she was through. I can feel she really care. It was so clear she values what her students gain from her classes. Thank you so much! read more

I had to get CPR certified in person, and I loved working with Ziva. She was very engaging, and made sure that me and my classmate understood the subject matter. She asked us questions, was very supportive, and guided us though the demos really well. I would 10/10 recommend Ziva for anyone looking to get CPR/AED certified.
