Absolutely in great appreciate with how professional, courteous and thoughtful Luna Security T.A. is. It started off very well. I needed information about my guard card due to this being my first time obtaining one. I called around to a few places, found cheaper ones and even though there were some out there, I didn't want to risk my license and didn't want to put my career in the hands of just anyone. I called around a few places and eventually came across Luna. My first attempt, I actually spoke with Luna herself. She was VERY informative and sensitive with my questions. (I had a lot) She didn't care that I was going to shop around. It's like she knew I was doing so. She didn't try to lure me in like the others did or wasn't just passive because her job was answering calls all day, she actually helped a stranger. I was also helped by Kevin. Kevin was very informative with my questions as well, and even returned my call later on while he did some research just before I committed to my appointment. Kevin was also my instructor for the day. He was rather informative with every step I needed to take and I'm glad I made the choice to trust in Luna security. Pros! Luna Security informed me that their services were also ELECTRONIC. In my understanding, every other company I tried MAILED your information in. In Covid times, assume this could be a time situation. BEST DECISION EVER!!! Luna Security Training Academy not only provides CPR services but also security guard training services. I searched for a CPR training class and found this one super close to me. I chose it primarily because of this. It's nice to have a local place that offers CPR training courses! Marisela was a great instructor! Thank you very much Marisela!!! She takes her time to instruct you and guide you in how to properly start and continue compressions. She is very patient with you and does not make you feel stupid when you mess up! Most of all she shows you how to properly administer the breaths you give your patient. The place is super clean and not once did I feel disgusted or like I did not want to be there. I loved how not only she sanitized the training mannequins, but also placed a plastic over the face with the mouth opening so you can administer the breaths. I will put a picture up so you can see. My wife and I have a toddler and another one on the way and we felt it is very essential to at least know CPR because you never know when you will need to administer CPR (Hopefully Never!!!) I feel much more confident that I will know what to do if the situation arises; thanks to the videos and hands on training my wife and I received from Marisela. I had been recommended to go to this other spot by Montebello, CA to obtain my firearm and other certificates/permits to become a full ArmGuard but decided to see if I would find a training security facility much closer to where I live. I open the 'Yelp' app and began searching for facilities nearby which ended up giving me quite a few, one pop up first which was 'Lunas', which was 5 minutes away where I stay at. At first I was not sure about the place, I mean the location where it was at, not to mention that I've driven past the place several times and never notice it. It's not hidden they do have their banners in the front and a sign promoting what services they offer but being that it was in the 'hood' that's what made me question it. But I'm glad I chose this spot, and definitely will recommended to anyone looking to obtain their guard certification or use any of their other services they offer. First of all when I walk in right away you felt the customer service at it's best, friendly, helpful, attentive and informative. The interior of the place is clean, smells good and feels welcoming. Marisela and Tony are great, easy going, knowledgeable, train and teaches you at your speed, and really cares about their students. Very professional. Great place to get your guard card fast and efficiently. They do life scans for you that process same day and everything(well mine did). I love that it is woman owned. Her husband Kevin is a great teacher he makes learning fun, gives lots of examples to help you remember. They offer students jobs which is also awesome. Just an all round great company!! I dont know about those other reviews but they do let you know it can take up to 60 days for the process to be completed. That is no fault of thiers because the paperwork was all electronically processed to the state and Federal Bureau of Inverstigations you just have to wait on them. But i went in Tues July 6th 2021 finished my 8hrcourse completed both background checks then woke up Tuesday July 13th and seen my Guard License number. They even hooked us up with food. First and foremost, Marisela offers extensive services in an area that is grossly under-served. Secondly, it is rather convenient from all parts of the city. I drove in for CPR training from downtown (Saturday class) and I drive up from Torrance, from my place of business, for firearm training. Marisela has a great demeanor, is customer focused, and truly loves her craft. Her materials and tech are up to date. The office is easy to find and she offers a clean and comfortable place (with beverages). I was pleased with the service and communication. I've also passed along her contact information to my place of business so that she can conduct CPR training onsite.
