My first contact with Sure Temp was in June when my AC decided to stop working, which of course is every Phoenician's worst summer nightmare. I was under Home Warranty and, since Sure Temp was contracted with my provider, I didn't have much choice but to call them. In the end however, this turned out to be fortuitous. Due to a tight schedule, I had to wait two days for a service visit (the only frustration in my entire experience) and in the meantime I decided to be pro-active and contact two other AC companies to get quotes on a replacement (I was certain that was what was needed). When Sure Temp came out, they were able to repair my AC within 20 minutes--so crisis averted for the time being, although I knew the fourteen year old unit's days were numbered. Sure enough, last week the AC went for good. The customer service and advice I had received from Sure Temp was top notch, so although I had two quotes for replacement, I wanted Sure Temp's offer on the table before making a decision. Keith was out that same day and gave me the best quote of the three by a decent margin. I made the difficult decision to pay up front rather than finance, since this would save me an additional $1200. The other two businesses didn't offer this option. In the end I saved a bundle (lower quote to start off and pay by check discount). The budget will be a bit tight going forward and I'll have to be disciplined with my spending until I recover my savings, but the final price was a number I could live with. I actually couldn't be happier with my decision. I only had to wait one day in a busy August season for install and was extremely pleased with the crew that came out. They were friendly, quick and great at answering questions. My new Trane XR-16 runs like a dream too! To sum up, superb customer service from the start, honest evaluation of my needs without trying to up-sell or take advantage of the situation and prompt turnaround time. Sure Temp gets my unwavering recommendation! read more

I was without my air for 2 months with 4 little kids. My warranty had JJ Fire and Ice to come fix the issue. It was the middle of the summer and my temperature of my house was over 100 degrees. They would come change the fuse and be gone in 5 minutes. At midnight the fuse with blow and than again we without air. I would call and they would never be able to come for over 48 hours. I had to buy 2 portable ac units and all 6 of us would sleep in 1 room . They came to my house over 5 times and could never fix the issue . They never called to see if it went out even though they knew it would. Finally, I was at a lost of what to do cause I was so frustrated. They never called to check on the issue. I was telling a friend about my frustration and they told me about Sure Temp. I called to see if they could help me. They came and I explained the situation . They came the same day. Work on it a couple of hours. Called every two hours to see if it was still working. When it went out again I was so upset. Before I could call them they called me. I told them it went out and they came right back. I didn't have to wait my usual 48 hours like JJ Fire and Ice. They said they will work with me til it's fixed. All JJ Fire and Ice would say is they didn't know what to do. Sure Temp said we will figure it out. Months later when I had a issue with my heat I called Sure Temp to see if I could get an appointment. They came the same day and Tom was amazing. He explained everything he was doing. I had three different people from Sure Temp to come to my house and each were amazing and knew exactly what they were talking about. When they ran into a road block they said regardless of what we will fix the issue. My family is so grateful to know there are still honest companies out there that know the importance of how your should be treated in tough situations and don't use I don't know as an answer read more

I wrote two reviews about these guys, but apparently I can only have one at a time, so I will combine them. All I can say is, if you want your AC done right, take the time to read. This is the company you should call. For the past week or so, our AC upstairs wasn't pushing out any air and it was extremely hot. Dominic came over to check it out and found that it was our air filters clogging the air flow, and once he removed them, we could immediately tell the difference, but it was still hot air blowing. After looking outside he found that the AC unit itself had damaged coils and was leaking, as well as Freon issues. What was cool was that he took the time to show me where the problems were and what needed to be fixed. Very personable, respectable and professional. This is the guy we need more of! Hopefully I wont have any further AC issues, but if I do in the future, Dom is the reason I'm calling these guys. UPDATE: I posted a review about Sure Temp a few weeks ago, but I just had to write another. Once again, these guys are amazing! Here's the follow-up: After combating with our property manager that our AC had been broken for about 2.5 weeks, we finally got it approved to be replaced. Kyle and Chino showed up and were very polite, personable, and professional. They showed us what was going to be replaced and where, and then jumped on it. After everything was completed, they even took my girlfriend and I around the house and measured the temperature from all the vents, ensuring that everything was perfect. We could finally get our house back and use the upstairs! Those two are prime examples that Sure Temp is doing everything right when it comes to home comfortably! Keep up the great work, guys! read more

I would like to share my feelings about the excellent job that owner Keith and his team did installing our new Trane AC units (XV20i) on September 20 and 21. Keith first came to our house to provide an estimate on August 31. My wife and I invited him based on a strong recommendation by our friends in Queen Creek for whom Keith had already done a job. We were impressed with his knowledge and evaluation of our system and felt that his price for two units was fair. In addition, he was honest when we asked him about the availability of any manufacturer's rebate from Trane. We appreciated his suggestion of waiting 15 days to obtain a $2000 rebate that would be available then. We had asked some other companies if a rebate existed but they did not reveal such an offer. We managed to conclude our deal on Keith's first visit. We would like also to assure any customer who will deal with this company about the superb job done by Sure Temp's technical team (Jason Mullins and Damien DeGiso). They worked efficiently, systematically, and in a clean manner when removing the old systems and getting the new ones in place. We also received two air scrubbers and the wifi thermostats with nice screens (which Jason taught us how to use). We were so impressed with the team's talent and attention to detail as well as the time and the help that Keith put towards fine tuning and testing the systems. I was pleased with his approach of checking with Trane's experts to ensure that the decisions he and his team made were correct. Finally, we have no reservation in highly recommending Sure Temp to any customer and we are looking forward to having them service our system. read more

One of the A/Cs in our home went out at the beginning of June. We called several companies to come out and give us bids on the replacing the unit. What I liked about the technician who came out from Sure Temp, Damien, was that he had much more technical knowledge than the other reps. In fact when I pointed to the unit that I thought was broken, he immediately saw that I was incorrect and it was the other unit that was not broken. Since both units were well beyond their life expectancy we decided to replace both units. We got 3 bids for the project, 2 of the prices came out fairly close to each other. But since Sure Temp had good financing terms and they had the units available for installation right away, we chose Sure Temp. The installation was excellent. We had a slight miscommunication about the start time and they came about an hour earlier than expected, but still the installers were extremely friendly and professional. It took them about 6-7 hours for the installation of both units and they did a great job of cleaning up all of their work before they left. There was a follow-up the next day to replace the trim to the attic access door that they had to remove, but that was also quick and well done. These new A/C units should last a long time so hopefully will not need any A/C services in the near future. But if we do we'll certainly give Sure Temp a call. Note about the Thermostats: The thermostats that came with Sure Temp were a little nicer than the other companies. They were Trane 824 Nexia Thermostats, which is wi-fi capable. I didn't think we would need a wi-fi capable thermostat, but having it is pretty cool and my wife enjoys it. read more

WOW! Sure Temp Air Conditioning is an AMAZING company especially, Bud. Bud has been extremely professional and knowledgable. He has consistently delivered exceptional service in maintaining and fixing our air conditioning system. His dedication to his work and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction have truly set him apart. Bud's reliability is unparalleled. Whenever we have encountered issues with our AC, he has promptly answered our calls and ensured that he arrives at our location in a remarkably timely manner. This level of responsiveness has greatly minimized any discomfort caused by a malfunctioning AC system, especially during the scorching summer months. What truly stands out about Bud is his honesty and integrity. Unlike many service professionals, he never attempts to upsell unnecessary products or services. Late Wednesday night my 18 year old Trane went kaput. We have a 3 month baby so having our home at the mercy of 110+ desert heat is not ok. I sent out an emergency "request a quote" via Yelp, Thursday morning and my family hopped into an airbnb for what we hoped would be no more than 2 days, while I worked to get this resolved. I had ~5 companies reply with appointments to come repair or estimate a replacement on Th/Fr. To be honest all of them were professional and the range of quotes was a 6k difference across 3 different brands. In my 24 hours of research & deliberations I knew 3 things would make a difference on who I went with. 1) Quality 2) Price 3) Time. This is where Sure Temp really stood out. My tech Chad was very knowledgeable and honest in his answers. He made the effort to ensure I genuinely understood the problem and what options I had regarding solutions. He also knew I had other quotes and worked to get the best deal possible for my family. Overall, while Sure Temp was not my cheapest option, they did provide me the best quality, at the best price w/ the most immediate install turnaround. Every other company gave an install time of Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, which meant my family would be out of our home over the weekend for a total of 5-7 days. Chad told me they could install Saturday!!! So I got topnotch assistance, quality equipment, at an affordable price without displacing my family longer than needed at additional costs. 100% recommend Chad & Sure Temp for AC needs! read more

Sure Temp = reasonable prices and fantastic service! We've routinely had our AC units readied for the two seasons of Phoenix, Hot and Hot as Hell, by a LARGE Valley operation. When one of the units went to "The Appliance Bridge" in 2015 my husband said, "Let's try someone new" he found Sure Temp on Yelp. We purchased a unit from Sure Temp in 2015 they installed it. When it came time to service the two units prices for service from the large Valley operation were going up a lot faster than we were able to comfortably keep up with. Two weeks ago, knowing the heat of the Hot as Hell season was fast approaching we called Sure Temp to service both AC units. Kevin from Sure Temp came to our home to ready the AC units for the bitter heat of summer. Kevin from Sure Temp did his work and reassured my husband all was well. The price was right and we were ready for the heat. But, that evening one of the units was not working. We called Sure Temp at 8p that Friday night and they responded immediately! Kevin came to central Phoenix from east Mesa to check on us!! He called to speak with my husband about what might have happened. He arrived with a toolbox and a smile and the problem was fixed in no time. I suspect it took longer for Kevin to drive here than it took for him to fix the problem. Sure Temp = reliable repairs and fair prices. Sure Temp understands SERVICE. These folks are great! read more

Thank you, Mary, Keith, and Dominic and Bud I have worked with them all and I am a very happy customer. No, Dominic did not give me anything to write this review. I have only reviewed one other company on Yelp. I do it so that other homeowners can find what they need. You would think that nothing could go wrong with your new unit after 6 months in Arizona. My new Trane unit was actually working flawlessly until yesterday. Dominic was sent out to troubleshoot our situation. I think that Dominic is an awesome analyst. When he wanted to confirm something, he checked with his foreman. When he was figuring out what exactly was going on, he talked through it with me. I am totally confident in this team. Evidently, the newer units are kinda tricky with the dialing in of the newer refrigerant. I think that I would maybe suggest after having a new unit put in, that a tuneup appointment when the temps get to 105 degrees, might be the best practice. Dominic provided some education and great service on both of my service calls that he made for us. He went over the benefits of a few different services that SureTemp offers. Not everyone buys a home warranty. Thank you, Dom! Todd Davis San tan Valley read more

Let me start out by saying I am new to the area and did not know who to trust. We have an old unit and I feared the worst. I read hundreds of reviews, not knowing if they were all real. Sure temp did not have the most reviews but over 100 and ranked 2nd, if you turned off the Yelp filter and just used reviews. Well anyway, Keith himself, came out on short notice and quickly found that my unit was iced up. Something I did not think was possible in AZ, coming from MN and NJ. We had a vent blocked for a short time and he explained that, in a small system like ours that would reduce air flow across the cooling coils enough to let them freeze up. When he was leaving I said, "I think we owe you for the visit?" He said "If" he needs to come back, we can worry about that then. That is amazing!!! He could have been shady and said we needed an new unit. After all ours is ancient. We Will call them when our unit finally does die. We did have to leave it of for a couple hours. We went to lunch. We came home and it was at least 99 degrees inside. An hour and a half later it is 85 and dropping. So Sweet! Thanks Keith! Such a relief! And Technically not a (Paying) Customer. Yet! read more

This company is incredible and I want everyone to know about them. From the very beginning everyone at Sure Temp Air was professional, punctual, available for any and all questions and reasonably priced. Our ten plus year old system was dragging us down with constant repairs so we decided to get quotes from a number of AC companies. The only one that was fair and showed great integrity was Sure Temp Air. Keith took his time and went over all our options to help us find the best solution for our family's needs. I never felt pressured to purchase something I couldn't afford. On the day of install (12/10/2018) our weather was in the low 40 degrees. The install was scheduled for two days but Antonio and Josue worked extra hard to complete our job in one day and keep our home warm. They showed up on time and where respectful, informative, and took great measures to keep our home safe and clean from debris. This is by far the BEST AC company I've ever worked with and will continue to work with in the future. read more

When we needed to replace our AC units, we decided to go with SureTemp: They used Trane equipment, had excellent prices, and (most importantly) seemed like good people. We're so glad we did. It's easy to get a good review when everything goes right, but the real mark of a good company is how they handle challenges. When things went wrong, SureTemp did it right. During installation, SureTemp's technicians accidentally damaged a small section of our artificial turf. The technicians were great - it was just bad luck. The owner came over immediately and offered to make it right by replacing all of our turf. You can't really "patch" turf, and he knew that, so he didn't even suggest it. We selected new turf and SureTemp took care of the rest. Here's the thing: No matter who you choose, and no matter how good they are, mistakes happen. I'm positive that replacing our turf wiped out any profit SureTemp made on our AC installation, but they did it anyway because it was the right thing to do. read more

After going through the usual cycle of AC issues we finally decided it was time to replace the entire unit. We had plenty of referrals but we decided to go with Sure Temp because we had a previous service call and Dominic did great work. We called Dominic and he met with us that same day. His knowledge of the product and performance helped tailor the unit specifically to meet our needs. The best part was how quick and thorough the selection process was. We set an installation date and time right away. It was a clean and simple process. Installation day! As you can imagine we were anxious to get started. Antonio & Josue arrived right on time and prepared to do the job. They worked quickly and quietly and cleaned up as they worked! They worked efficiently removing and installing the outside and attic units. While one was working in the attic the other was working outside. Thank you to the Sure Temp crew for your professionalism and great work. Sure Temp deserves this excellent review. read more

I can't believe it's been two weeks since my new heater/air conditioning unit has been installed. My home is comfortable once more. The men and woman with whom I dealt with at Sure Temp were professional, knowledgeable and more. From the first call to the last of the installation, each person was on time, neat and clean, extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer questions, help in any way. They delivered what they promised. In this day and age, it is extremely difficult to find good quality help. Trust me, if you need anything from a fix-it to a new unit, do not think twice. Hire Sure Temp Air Conditioning and they will figure out the problem, repair it, all in a timely manner. My 25 year old unit bit the dust - finally. It was a matter of three days and a new highly efficient unit was installed. I could not be happier with this company and all personnel involved. Only wished they handled plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tiling, and on and on - I love efficiency! read more

Furnace went out during the night. Did a Google search for HVAC repair in Mesa, AZ and Yelp came up. Found SureTemp which is close to me and they had 54 reviews, all 5 star I believe. Used the included Request Quote button on Yelp page, entered my info and had a call back from Mary at Sure Temp within 30 minutes who scheduled an appointment. About 1 hour later Bud called and said he would be here in about 30 minutes. He arrived right on time. The furnace ended up being an intermittent problem. The heat would come on for a short period of time and then shut off before reaching the thermostat's set temp. After a bit of troubleshooting and attempts to clean the existing flame sensor, Bud ended up replacing the flame sensor and we're back to normal. The total bill came to $125 which I think is reasonable. So in short, I woke at 7am, found out I had a problem, did a little research and had the problem fixed by noon the same day. read more

Received same day service when my AC stopped working! They gave me a window time frame for arrival and showed up close to the beginning of the range I was given. They called when they were about 20 minutes away to let me know when they'd arrive and to make sure it worked with our schedule to come at that time. Tom diagnosed the problem very quickly, had the part on hand and fixed it on the spot. He explained what the problem was and showed me the damaged part. He also explained about how long it was going to take for my house to cool down again and what to expect. Couldn't be happier with everyone at Sure Temp that helped me starting with Mary when she scheduled our appointment, to Keith when he reassured me that we'd be taken care of today and then Tom for his services. Great job guys! Keep up the good work! There is a reason why you have such good ratings! read more

Our AC unit died on a Wednesday night when this area was breaking hi temp records and I scheduled a 3 estimates thru Yelp. The prices on quoted on Thursday by 2 companies were way high...I knew they were based on past experience with ac replacement. I called Keith (owner) from SureTemp and he was there within an hour to give a second opinion and quote cost to fix. He actually gave me his personal cell phone. Keith confirmed the same issue that we needed a new compressor and provided a quote that was considerably less than what the others quoted. Just to be clear 1500 less. He got the job and my money. His guys showed up on Friday braving the high temps and completed the job. The 2 man team were polite and friendly and did there thing. I was very happy with what was done by this company. I think they went the extra mile to get us helped. read more

Just purchased a new house in May 2018. By August we started experiencing problems with a 22 year old system. After numerous attempts to "nurse" the system through a few weeks the compressor on the condensing unit blew to our chagrin. Keith and his team were RELENTLESS on trying to keep this old horse of a system going after numerous service calls, usually at the most inconvenient times. None one, I mean NO ONE, came close to Sure Temp's pricing on a brand new Trane XR14, 5 ton system! Not only was the pricing great but with miserable conditions in our house we had the new system the next day and only 3.5 hours worth of install! I cannot express to you how absolutely AMAZING this company is! In an age of scammers and cons everywhere, Keith and his Sure Temp company are second to none in integrity and confidence. I am truly a customer for life! read more

Can't say enough about this company. I believe Keith is the owner of this company and you should be so proud of how your staff represents you and Sure Temp. Last year when I had issues with my A/C your technician Kevin came out and got everything up and running again. He was terrific! And then just this past Memorial Weekend, I had another problem with my A/C and I called Sure Temp again. Thank you Destiny for being so willing to get me help right away; even on a holiday weekend! Within an hour of my call to Sure Temp she had a tech, Justin coming out to help me. A big THANK YOU to Justin for fixing the issue. You were so courteous and professional! So Keith, if you have more members of your staff as nice and willing to take care of customers like Kevin, Destiny and Justin were, you are very fortunate. Thanks again to all! read more
