These guys are the worst. It took them six months to install a wall heater correctly. They kept sending guys who had never installed a wall heater before and had not even been provided with the manufacturer's instructions. Once they finally got it installed it twice flunked the inspector's review. The way they had installed it the first time could have resulted in our house catching on fire. Very disappointing. We experienced blatant dishonesty with the company that installed our A/C when it needed repair. We then called Supreme Air who had installed new furnaces in our home a few years ago. Marian, a dispatcher, was pleasant, accommodating, and patient as she worked with our schedule to arrange a diagnostic service. She dispatched Arturo, A Supreme Air technician, who discovered that the problem was not what the other company diagnosed, and made the repairs at about a fifth the cost of what was suggested by the other company. It's disheartening to experience the blatant dishonesty as we did with the first company. By contrast, Supreme Air's dispatcher and technician were courteous, efficient, and represent what certainly must be Supreme Air's culture - to provide honest, reliable service. read more

The day started with a little mix up. I thought service was for my personal residence when actually it was for my parents house. I didn't realize my phone number was attached to their account. Darrece, the technician waited for me. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He helped me understand in simple terms the service he was providing to the air conditioner. He was fast and efficient and it was a seamless experience and really ended up with a smile on my face. The only thing I would suggest is that when the service company makes the phone call, they verify the address they are providing service for. We figured it out and no harm since we were able to make it work but it may help in future clients experiences. read more

I've found Alan to be highly knowledgeable in my quest for the perfect HVAC system for my home. He was responsive, and quickly explained pros/cons of various systems. We decided on a Mitsubishi heat pump system (we didn't know existed), and also went ahead with solar (and eliminated gas with the heat pump system). We now have a system that uses exactly the energy we need, and can have different rooms different temperatures so the whole family is happy. Seldom do I like to write bad reviews but this one is the epitome of "buyer beware". Not only was this company unable to determine the problem with our client's heater, but they are very rude and make scheduling promises that keep getting pushed out; the first time I went out they provided a 30 minute window at noon, so we left our offices (25 minutes away)...noon turned to 2PM, 2PM turned to 4PM. The tech came out, looked at the system and said "I'm not prepared to work on this today". Talk about a wasted day. Anyhow, if this isn't bad enough after 4 appointments and 2 cancellations, the woman scheduler, had no sympathy for our plight what so ever. I told her "Yelp, will have yet another review" and she completely dismissed my comment...not now. Stay away from this company at all costs and look for a better company with 3.5 or more stars...you'll be way better off! read more

As a licensed broker for 15+ years and property manager of many properties, I have sold and worked with Fidelity Home Warranty policies for years and this is the FIRST positive review I've ever written. Normally home warranty companies send out the cheapest and least professional contractors/sub-contractors but Supreme Air came out twice to diagnose and install backordered part. I had two different technicians (Edwardo?) and forgot got 2nd tech) and BOTH were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and timely. Even the back office team kept me in the loop the entire time. I contacted Supreme Air Systems to get my A/C and heat pump repaired. The technician came in and analyzed the heat pump, and found the coolant is all gone. Since we needed the insurance company to approve the fix, we've set up another repair schedule in the other day. On the day of the repair, the technician found the leak, replaced the part, recharged the freon. Yet while we're testing the a/c, the transformer unexpectedly broken again since it was very old one. The technician also fixed the transformer in the middle, so we were able to fix the everything in one day and now I can feel arctic cold wind in my home. Two things that I wanted to highlight: 1) Call representative was friendly; it's a rare to see a friendly representative in the a/c service company in the past, so I think it was good thing. 2) Highly skilled a/c (heat pump) repair service that fixed the issue. I would recommend Supreme Air systems to anyone who is looking to fix the broken a/c systems. read more

Incompetent, and scam artists. Came to diagnose HVAC not functioning properly through home warranty. Did not find the issue, and recommended cleaning the furnace for $190. I called another service company and that guy found out electrical connection issues, and fixed everything on the spot in under 30 minutes. Complete waste of time! Reply to Stephanie's response, since Yelp does not let me post any other way publicly: Hi Stephanie, Thank you for jogging my memory. Although, I see that the notes you have are incomplete. When your investigation happened, the dampers upstairs were not working. Only the ones downstairs were working. The heater cutting off was because of this, and not the filters. It could not sustain the air flow with just 3 dampers on the first floor. The technician never inquired about electrical connections which were the real issue, and were stopping air flow to both floors. The person who repaired it for me recently informed me there's no real urgency to clean the furnace. Of course, I would like to clean my car often but that would not fix faulty suspension. The innumerable calls I have received since last March from your company have been to clean the furnace, I guess to make quick, easy money and build a continuous relationship to keep the income flowing. That would not have in any way fixed the problem I was facing. The problem I have is with your company's intention/policy to keep business flowing instead of fixing real issue. To add to this, when the customer service agent called me last time and I informed her I had already fixed the issue, she became rude. My furnace was producing fumes that set off our smoke detector, then stopped working during cold season. Every other vendor I called either didn't answer their phone or didn't address voicemails for hours, or was dismissive and seemed to have little sympathy for the fact that I had 2 small children who were sick and had no heat. Estimates were it would be 4-5 days until someone could come even assess the situation across vendors. Even though she coordinates Maintenance, not Service, Stephanie was so helpful and HUMAN and went out of her way to try and get us service so our family didn't have to freeze. They had a maintenance person out to us within 24 hours and made an exception to get us service to replace our fried board. We called Supreme Air to have a service tech come out because our baby's room wasn't getting air flow. With the warm weather quickly approaching they were prompt to get someone out. Ramon showed up in the time frame we were given, was very friendly and put shoe covers on before he walked inside. I also appreciated their receptionist letting me know when he was on his way. Ramon went into the attic to look at the duct work and he took a video of it in his phone so he could show me. This way I could see exactly what he talking about. I was surprised to see the negative reviews because they were nothing but professional. Best of all he was able to fix the issue and we won't have to worry about our baby getting too hot this summer. Worst experience with a business I ever had. If a Carlos (Sales Rep.) takes to you, tell him he is full of it! To date (unit installed in 2006) does not work correctly. Had an efficient unit put in, but never installed according to what Carlos promised. He saidiIt would heat a 2300 sq-ft unit efficiently (including upstairs). Still upstairs cold and downstairs too HOT. Then, I call around and find out that Supreme Air never did the correct install. No wonder the City to date has not passed their inspection. Word of advise, do not pay anything to them (that is if you decide to go with them) until they get the city inspection done. That summer (2007), the A/C exchanger coils leaked on first use and got water on the base and oxidized it. They repaired it, but what a mess! I also decided to give them a chance on their tankless water heater. To date, I still have problems. Now, I will be spending close to $500 to have it repaired and correctly installed. STAY AWAY from these crooks! No call from Carlos when I kept trying to reach him. Here is what he said, "I only do the selling, now it is the techs problem, not mine". Crap, you should be ashamed Carlos. As a sales person, you honestly need to say up front that "I can't guarantee the techs can do a good job, and also, I can't promise you I will be around to support you! I this old house, we recommend you tear a wall down, and have the intake for the upstairs routed on a different zone". I had no problem paying, but idiot do the right job! Now I have a HVAC unit that I spent over $11,000 and it does not do the job it is suppose to. read more

Caveat emptor! Unfortunately, the furnace manufacturer recommended I use their associate Supreme Air. They removed about $12K in near-virginal equipment, replacing it with Unico, their supplier/affiliate, with about $17K in new stuff. The house doesn't heat any better, and the A/C has never stayed on long enough to test it. They tied in two 110-volt breakers to "make a 220-volt" one. Einsteinian! Safe, too. I left pleasant voicemails to come fix this, but they never called back -- intil they wanted some more work months later! The City Inspector required a new permit, a state-licensed electrician, and paying for said electrician to sit on his fanny waiting for the inspector. All for a $10 part that Supreme Air Mickey-moused together, one that I colda/shoulda put in myself, seriously. I'm out over $600 for that, and the AC units look very nice. Too bad I dont have large quantities of paper to weight. Just Say No to Supreme Air and their funky Unico heating/cooling sytems. Energy efficient? Not! I still wish I have my 1943 MARS tank of a furnace, that never failed until a $132 safety gas valve stopped, so I replaced it myself and fixed that. Are most contrators everywhere like this, or have I just had a bad run of 'em? read more

well, now I see why all the 1 star ratings....... and yes i am screaming, i paid close to 11,000.00 for my heating and a.c. unit, installed new in 2006. yesterday i called them, they came out to look at the heater as to why it will not start. there is a part that costs $500.00+ and it is back ordered for 6 to 8 weeks. the house is at 48 degrees and freezing at night, soooooo, what did they say, well we can install a new unit, well, i don't have another 8 to 10 k to do that, so that was that. i am furious, the owner alan sennert, never even called me, and he knows how very ill i am. i am 71 years old. i don't know what i am going to do at this time, but i d o n o t recommend this company, the heater is only 8 years old and now it's no Good??????????????????????????? rated them a 2 star as during the time the unit worked, each year when i paid $250.00 to have it cleaned it was fine. i did have trouble with the a.c.outdoor unit where they had to come 3 or 4 times till the leak was fixed. read more

Got a spam call today from Supreme Air Systems, soliciting "furnace service." I told him I'm on every possible "do not call" registry. His response: "I'm excited for you." Then he hung up before I could tell him to take me off his "list." I was going to complain to his management, but after looking at the Yelp reviews, seems unlikely that would make a difference. For $15000, we got a heating system from them that never worked properly for a single winter! They installed a forced air heating system in our house a few years ago, and we haven't spent a single winter without problems with the heater. Each time I called, I got rude responses. The system breaks down over and over after their repairs. This past winter, they stopped answering our calls. Later when we hired a technician from another company, we were told that the system was installed incorrectly. Fidelity sent them to my home. From the time he landed, it looked like he just wanted to make extra money. He said that the unit was not maintained and that he will send the report to fidelity. The problem was that there were some wasp nets. I would have to pay $400 extra to remove that. Anyways, I paid it. Then I found out that I could have got it removed by any handyman for just under a 100 bucks. Then he wanted to sell Xoom gas to me. Luckily I did not sign up. I have an old digital thermostat in which I can just set the temperature (not the one where I can turn on/off at certain times of the day). I asked him how much does that cost. He said that they have it and it is around $350! This time I was almost convinced that it should be cheaper elsewhere. I said that I will check it out in Home Depot and let him know if I want from him. I was aghast to learn that it is only $26 (incl tax) in HD. Even the Nest one that works with iPhone is $250. I cannot recommend this company. They are very lax at scheduling appointments - they give your a 5 hour window, and then turn up hours late. The technician that turned up eventually had a terrible attitude (no sorry for being hours late, or acknowledging we had to take half a day off!) and was so bad I told him to leave. We constantly called the dispatch office, only be told the technician was on the way. If a company cannot manage its resources to ensure they turn up in a 5 hour window, I would not bother using them! read more

If there is a zero, i really will go for it. They replaced my broken heating pump with a tankless (Samsung) one, and got problem every year since. I spend almost 6000 and they said I can claim back 1500 after 5 years from NERF. I just got the Court settlement letter that told me that I could only get 8% back, 120 instead of 1500. Supreme Air Systems installed the heating/cooling system in our home before we bought it. In hindsight, the person who built our home probably didn't make the best choice in choosing Supreme Air to do the work, and we've been stuck with the downside of his choice for many years. Unfortunately, we didn't figure out all the things that were done incorrectly till recently and it's been an expensive and time-consuming process to try and fix the problem (still not sure it's fixed). Installation issues: 1) When performing the installation of the radiant system with 4 zones, only two of the zones were installed with manifolds and flow-control valves. Two zones were installed directly into the system with no ability to control the flow. 2) One of the loops serving the living room, was incorrectly tied to the thermostat that controlled the guest bedroom! For 7 years, we couldn't figure out why the living room never got warm enough! 3) The PEX piping for the radiant in the crawlspace was completely un-insulated (and the owner told me that they doesn't need to be insulated, when I can feel the heat emanating from the return pipes -- just sending dollars and energy down the drain. Service Issues: 1) First time we had them out for maintenance all the service person did was blow off the dust and clean out air filters. Didn't do any of the flushing that they were supposed to do (and I didn't know any better the first time) 2) Scheduling -- confirmed via email for the service date. Get a call from their office the day before the scheduled date, saying they're running late. I explained that they're not supposed to be there today, but tomorrow. Scheduled for morning, arrived in the afternoon. 3) Charge $140/hr (discounted rate of $125/hr) PER PERSON. Show up in teams of TWO people. So now you're paying $250/hr minimum and possibly $280/hr. 4) Service Personnel aren't the most well trained. Assembled the blower fan incorrectly once, wired incorrectly once -- all adding up to more time (at $250/hr) 5) Their equipment for flushing had a leak and couldn't generate the proper pressure. Took additional time to make it work. 6) Even though they did the original installation, they had no idea or plans for it. Took hours to reverse engineer (and ultimately I had to help figure it out) that the installation had been done incorrectly, and that part of one zone was wired to the wrong thermostat! The other negative reviews on Yelp about this company are probably accurate and believable given my experience. Overall, very disappointing to have had to work with Supreme Air and cannot recommend them (and in fact would recommend against using them). Hope to find a better vendor for maintenance/service in the future. read more
