I had a large spike in water bill. Water company came out and said I had a leak between meter and pipe leading to house. The pipe was under a large tree and other shrubs. I called Plumb Tech who came out quickly and determined the leak was not outside but from a leaking toilet in a downstairs bathroom. Coy said he would get the new toilet and return the next morning to install it. He also replaced leaking valve on an outside water outlet. He and his assistants were thorough, expedient and I highly recommend them for anyplumbing problems you may have. read more

yay... my drains are draining and my faucet isn't dripping!!! happy :) it would seem i've had plumbing issues come on all at once. 2 clogged drains, a leaky faucet, and a broken pipe. so i gave them a call in the afternoon, and they were able to send someone out the next day. thank goodness for speedy! and they showed up on time, even a bit early. the guys who came out were super nice. very professional and respectful. they even put booties on before coming in every time. they quickly assessed the problems, gave me an idea of cost, then got to work. they were done in about an hour, including a trip to the hardware store to get a part. they charge by the hour, but don't let that worry you... they seem to work fast. so now my drip is gone, water is flowing, and i'm happy. the pipe will wait for another day. they gave me an idea what it will cost, and it seemed reasonable. i'd absolutely use them again. read more

I called Plumb Tech Inc because the pipes under my sink were leaking. Ivan answered the phone right away and I was impressed because with others I have called, it takes them awhile to call me back. We set up an appointment for the day after I called which was fine because the leak wasn't that bad if I didn't use the right side of the sink. He also asked me to text him back with a photo of my pipes so he would have the proper replacement parts. This impressed me! The two techs were right on time and got right to work. They were very knowledgeable and friendly as they evaluated the situation. They explained to me what they were doing and when they needed to replace the basket, they cleaned up their equipment, drove over to OSH, picked up what I needed and returned quickly. They finished the job, tested for leaks and cleaned up the work area. They were in and out in under an hour! I haven't had much experience with plumbers, so I'm not sure what the going rates are, but I feel that the price I paid for the service I received was very reasonable. He also noticed that one of the pipes was installed too short when my kitchen was remodeled so the angle was not level. I want to get a new faucet, so after I decide what I want, I will set up another appointment to have them replace the faucet and install a pipe in the proper length at the same time. They will also install the new faucet properly because I have never been able to extend the sprayer as far as I needed to and he showed me why I couldn't and what needed to be done differently. Plumb Tech replaced our broken water heater this past winter and I am very happy with their work. When I called to talk about my problem, the person who answered (I assume the owner) asked a lot of questions to determine what his recommendation would be for our home. Other companies simply suggested a specific replacement unit. They also quoted an extremely competitive price. The installers arrived on time, and worked quickly and methodically without rushing anything. They worked with my unfortunate garage design, which made the install take longer than any of us would have liked but never complained and were always courteous. When I asked for a drain pan to be installed (we had not discussed this earlier), they were happy to do so and basically only charged me for the parts. I highly recommend Plumb Tech. Not impressed. This company was utilized my my HOA to work on my pipe. Take them 4 + days to get it wrong. I open the cabinets, it is all wet and mildewed inside. 2 young men who appeared high school age did all the work, I honestly don't think they knew what they were doing. No uniforms, and they came in an old beat up truck. I don't have a lot of faith in them. WHY ARE THE UNFAVORABLE REVIEWS ON THE SECOND PAGE? Sneaky. I called Plumb Tech in order to check out a stopped kitchen sink and dishwasher drain line. The tech who came to my house was wonderfully nice, professional, and helpful. He answered all of my questions and explained things thoroughly. There turned out to be old pipes under the house which were completely corroded and leaking waste water into the crawlspace and were in immediate need of replacement. Plumb Tech wrote up a detailed report for me and gave an explanation and quote along with the report for my landlord. Plumb Tech dealt with my wishy washy, cheap landlord and helped me along the way. The landlord ended up using another plumber in order to replace the pipe but they left a mess in the basement and sludge sprayed all over our personal belongings. I wish the landlord had allowed Plumb Tech to do the repair because I'm sure that the job would have been done correctly and our belongings would have been respected. I would recommend Plumb Tech for anyone who is looking for an honest, professional experience and wants to make sure that the job is done correctly. My water heater burst. My garage was swiftly turned into a mini flood zone. I shut down the water and called a friend who recommended Plumb Tech. I got a hold of Ivan. The same day Ivan and a really nice technician named Coy came to my house, popped my old water heater out and installed a new one. I just wound up hanging out with them because they were such nice friendly guys. In todays blue collar world you can get some pretty sketchy people coming into your home. I felt totally comfortable with them and actually enjoyed their company. We wound up eating lunch together in my driveway on buckets. LOL. I am very pleased with the service of "Plumb Tech Inc"... I initially called the number listed on Yelp and got John. He was very nice on the phone... I told him I was getting a foul odor in the Kitchen and assumed it might be a leaky sewer pipe in this 60 year old home... He sent Don out the next day to meet me at my home... He looked at the pipes and told me they are not leaking at all when a previous company that looked at the same pipes told me I was getting leakage and needed to replace the pipes soon... Don let me know that the other company was lying to me and just trying to make money and that I didn't need to replace them. He cleared out the kitchen clean out and found three clogs which might've cause partial backups in the kitchen sink sewer pipe thereby causing an odor... I was so happy that I called and spoke with the "Ivan" I had read so much about. I told him what my problem was and he gave me several options....one was how to fix it on my own which would have only cost me $15. I tried on my own based on his advice and when I got stopped up I called him back and he sent Ray out first thing the next morning. My issue was small so I can't attest to their other plumbing services but I can say the customer service was great and that's worth a lot to me. Ivan and his crew just came over and replaced a leaking water heater at my house. His price was not only the best among all the other quotes I got, but the water heater (Bradford/White) they used was the same brand. Their price included the fixings that other companies would nickel and dime you for, and still came out cheaper. On top of that, during the work, I found out his company did service work for a huge search company in the area (does not start with a Y), and I actually knew the folks he works for when at that job-site. This was a boost as I know that company's folks would not put up with shoddy work. They arrived on-time, checking in with me a few times to let me know they're running a little late, and they drained my water heater, replaced my rigid pipes with flex-hose and explained to me every little thing they did. They also gave me a tutorial as to how to use my water heater and finally used a intuit gopay dongle to process my payment. All in all, I highly recommend using them for any plumbing related issues you have. At least give them a call to quote it out. You'll be pleasantly surprised. One note: do not purchase the coupon you see available for this company as that coupon is only for drain cleanings. It does not say on the coupon, but don't think its just a service coupon that you can use for anything. Still, 95 dollars for a drain cleaning only buys you a couple of bottles of draino's so its not a bad deal and your drains will need cleaning eventually, so even if you bought it, I'd think about keeping it around for when your drains do clog. read more

Had a 15+ year water heater, noticed serious corrosion on bottom side of tank and decided to replace. Initially thought would use Home Depot installation services, but was shocked at the quote estimate (included costs for permits, and several questionable upgrades). I wanted to get the tank replaced over the holiday weekend and selected Plumb Tech based on high Yelp reviews (also they were the only company available that weekend!) They did a great job - came out at the appointed time, installed the new water heater properly and did a good job at a good price (about 60% of Home Depot's estimate). The next day there was a minor issue that needed attention and they came out promptly to resolve. Ivan and crew were a pleasure to deal with. Good, helpful service at a good price. I hire this co. for an emergency same day gas water heater replacement. The came promptly and had it done for an hour or so. Fast, efficient, clean. They took care the old heater. The price is not the lowest, but I need a knowledgeable plumber. I should have given them a 5 stars, but only I found out that it is a 38 gallons, not 40 gallons that I have asked them. They use Bradford White which is a top-of-the-line brand with a 6 year warranty. They're polite, on time, and easy to communicate with.
