We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Manager Andrew went above and beyond to make our experience extremely memorable for my niece's 20th birthday. Could not have asked for more! read more

This place is fantastic ! One of my favorite things about this restaurant is how clean it is. Apart from its appearance, the food is also outstanding. Extremely fresh and flavorful. The rice balls are out of this world. Their Salumi platter is amazing. They are only open for dinner a few nights a week and they are also BYO. I highly recommend giving it a try. read more

Really enjoyed my sun dried fruit salad last night! Very fresh and tasty! Seemed small for an entree salad...but maybe it wasn't meant to be? ($10) The real confusion comes from trying to track down their menu. I love that it's ever changing but for the customer who wants to order to go...it can be challenging. Found a menu on yelp but it wasn't current. Found one on their website that wasn't updated. The gentleman was kind enough to read me the options over the phone tho. Lovely girl at the counter too. Will definitely be back!! Im adding a pic of the dinner menu (lunch is completely different) as of 1/17/19. read more

This place is fabulous! We came as a party of 9 and our server Cat was professional, friendly, and attentive. She truly was one of the kindest and most "on point" servers I've ever experienced! We tried a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts and we were all pleased with their selections (and the portions). I should mention the dishes are VERY reasonably priced. I especially loved the rice balls for an app and the rigatoni and vodka sauce was to die for! Everything came out in a timely fashion and food was fresh and hot. Absolutely 5 stars for everything. Loved the atmosphere. Perfect noise level, vibe, and service. Suprema is THE place for a relaxing and delicious dinner! read more

Went here for an early lunch and got there right around opening time. I went with my girlfriend and as we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. We got to choose wherever we wanted since no one was there so we sat in the booth table. We soon after got our menus and water and I decided to go with the Milano Sandwich with pesto and my girlfriend went for the Gorgonzola Cheese salad with grilled chicken. After a short wait our food was on our table and I couldn't wait to dig in. Each bite was heavenly, I really could taste the quality of ingredients in every bite. The olive oil used had so much flavor and the pesto I added definitely made the whole meal perfect. The bread has a healthy crunch and substance to it without overpowering anything. My girlfriend and I both split our meals so I also go to enjoy the salad and I was very impressed. The white balsamic dressing was delicious when combined with the strong taste of the littered Gorgonzola pieces. The apple chunks and pecans helped too making the whole dish feel so fresh. The grilled chicken was perfectly tender and juicy with a nice grill char on each piece. Our waitress was extremely helpful with helping us order. I was beyond impressed by the experience and I would definitely come back for another lunch or dinner. Hope this review helps! read more

4.5 stars. Fun and bright ambiance, decent service, great mains and excellent desserts. Will def eat here again.

We've been here several times and have really enjoyed it. It became sort of our "go to" place. We dined here on Friday evening and we were underwhelmed. The portions became smaller and the prices became bigger (yes I know that restaurants have raised their prices). We needed gluten free options so started off with potato skins. One small potato cut in half - each half topped with cheese and bacon, $13 for one potato. One dinner was salmon. Small piece to say the least. Barely any spinach and mashed potato. Plate was pretty empty. The sole was a palm sized piece with, again, barely any spinach. Most of this sole dish was loaded with buttery, soupy potatoes on the bottom that I didn't touch. Both dishes were overpriced for what you got. read more

That al la vodka sauce is everything!! Rich, creamy, flavorful, i wanted it to everything i ate. The setup of the restaurant is airy, casual and friendly. I came for lunch and heard they have a different menu for dinner which is surely a reason to go back. Would recommend!! read more

If you're looking for a byo Italian place with great vibes, this is the one. Hard to say what my favorite dish is since they all taste amazing but as far as appetizers the rice balls are a must try. My go to lunch spot always! Everything is always super fresh and delicious, I have yet to try something I did not like. I always look forward to their Thursday specials as they change weekly and its always something creative and so good! I wanted to love you and give you 5 stars, but I'll call it an even split and tell ya I'm totally in LIKE with you. Suprema is located on lil' old Park Ave, where there are plenty of restaurants in which non of them stick out - but Suprema is different. It's a clean, open, fresh concept kitchen with deli style plates with a gourmet Italian restaurant twist. I finally was able to try brunch here and honestly, I wasn't wowed but I wasn't disappointed either. Their meat and cheese plate was Lit. Service was a bit scattered and on the slow end, but the guys behind the counter picked up slack and came around to clean our plates and make sure we were taken care of. The burrata was nice and creamy, soppresata fresh & tangy -- & their olives were pickled just the right amount. We also ordered the rice balls (which I wish were heated up just a tad more) and two sandwiches that we wound up taking to go because the meat and cheese plate/ arancini was THAT filing. I would definitely come back to try their pasta dishes or maybe just pop in for some lunch. They offer specials daily and even give you the option to rent out their establishment for parties and events. Suprema - your salumi was supreme, so I'll give you a second chance to make me fall in amore - and continue to fulfill my burrata dreams ... read more

Visiting my family in New Jersey and we came across this place near our hotel in Rutherford. Amazing all around, there were 5 of us and the staff was kind enough to bring in a table from outside to avoid the heat or a long wait. Everyone was so nice and the food was incredible, the spaghetti carbonara was my favorite my only regret was that I split it instead of having it all to myself read more

So happy I finally got to try this place out. I walked in around an hour before closing and they let us know they were out of bread. We opted for chicken parm, eggplant parm, spaghetti, and a salad. The meal was perfection and I'd recommend everything we got! The spaghetti was topped with basil and fresh mozzarella which really gave it a solid touch. The salad we got (the first one on the menu) had a great champagne vinaigrette, hearts of palm, avocado, and fresh tomatoes. The eggplant parm (my go-to at Italian restaurants) was just the way I like it. My bf did comment that the chicken parm was a bit on the saucier side so this is a definite go-to if you love sauce (or like dipping bread in your tomato sauce). They were open today (on Presidents' Day) which I really appreciate. The bathroom is clean, space is nice, and service is great. Also, how can you not love their suprema shirts which copy the infamous "Supreme" design. Thank you for an amazing dinner! read more

4 1/2 -5 stars. Suprema is a specialty restaurant that focuses on Italian food for a lovely lunch/brunch. First off, the business has a beautiful, well-spaced interior and the place is about as neat and clean as any food business I've ever seen. Order at the counter, then grab a table and wait for your food. Three of us had a variety of dishes, from pasta to salad, and everything was made freshly, great tasting, and generous portions. The menu consists of sandwiches, salads, roasted veggies and pastas, and they do have some dessert and coffee. There are lunch specials that change daily. One suggestion I'd make is that they should carry a wider variety of drinks. I'm all for sticking closely the Italian theme, but the limitation of Pelligrino and Italian sodas is a bit much. Also, this is not a criticism but their pasta is prepared al dente, which sometimes is more firm than I like, so if you are like me, ask for your pasta to be cooked a little longer. Suprema's hours go through the 'early' evening, so locals may find it a good spot to grab a nice takeout dinner on their way home from work. Very nice place, enjoy! read more

I love this little Italian cafe!! Its about 30 min from where I live. It's definitely worth the drive. I like general decoration and atmosphere, friendliness of staff and the quality of their food. Nothing to complain about. I visit whenever I possibly can to enjoy their selection of pastas, sandwiches and freshly prepared food from deli section. They have daily special sandwiches other than the regular menu. Their pasta is always al dente which I like. My favorite is classic carbonara. Various salads are ready for healthy choice. Portions are generous, I always left feeling satisfied after all my meals. One of my favorite places to have a nice satisfying meal. Street parking only. read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! Everything is incredible. Absolute faves that I need to order everytime we go (weekly) are the aranccini rice balls and rigatoni a la vodka. I adore ordering off the special menu and everything is unique and a flavor explosion in your mouth. read more

My wife and I now come here almost weekly for lunch. We've tried just about everything and it's all Aweosme. We get the raspberry iced tea each time. Their artichoke salad is addicting. Their grilled chicken is the best grilled chicken I've had in this entire area. Truly. You can get the grilled chicken on any of the salads or sandwiches. We order the rigatoni vodka a lot too with the meatballs. It's all just so yummy. The service is great. Good people. Simple. Good. Italian. Done perfectly with consistency. Supreme makes us happy! read more

Amazing food and everything is so fresh! A bit pricy but I guess it's worth it for how good the food is. I love the Napoli sandwich during lunch hours. Super tasty and delicious. I need to come in for dinner and check it out considering how good the lunch menu is! 10/10. read more

Wow, the food at Suprema is so fresh and delicious! As an added bonus the restaurant is adorably decorated with rustic doors under glass as tables, exposed brick, and hard wood floors. I ordered the Napoli sandwich which consisted of fried eggplant slices, roasted red pepper, mozzarella, provolone, and crispy Italian bread. I'd recommend this sandwich or the Tuscan which looked loaded with grilled vegetables and mozzarella. I'd go back if in the area. read more

I was really looking forward to trying this spot for lunch. When I entered a goth looking server mumbled something about sit where ever. I sat at a 4 top by the front of the restaurant. She then proceeded to come up and ask me to move to the one 2 top that was awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant. The place was completely empty, but she seemed to think there would be a rush in the 20 minutes it would have taken for me to eat. WTF? Thankfully the Cuban place a few doors down was awesome! read more

And for Rutherford's newest edition an Italian deli. Owned By Michaels salumeria in lyndhurst, this location is larger with ample seating. They have a much smaller menu than Lyndhurst however they'll make you anything. They were very nice, hospitable and expeditious in preparing my sandwiches. Quality is as good, if not better than Lyndhurst. Fresh by the pound selections are still limited since they just recently opened. But I did manage the beet and carrot salad in addition to my sandwich and it's spot on. Welcome to town ! read more

Went here for lunch and the food was very good, but the pricing is very high and parking in Park Ave in Rutherford doesn't help.

It's a bit pricy for a me as a high schooler to come eat here for lunch everyday, but it's worth the luxury every once in a while! There's a high school special lunch they offer: half of any choice of a sandwich, a side of anti-pasta, and a drink of any for only $8.50! Their sandwiches are always great no matter what it is (but especially the Milano!), and while some don't like the salad, I think it's a nice side dish to the sandwich. Also, the atmosphere in general of the resturant is great, from their decor to the plates they use to serve lol. Rutherford's a pretty boring place w generic resturants, but it's places like Suprema that makes you feel like you're dinning in the middle of New York City :) read more

I came here with my family and they loved everything about Suprema. The décor of the restaurant is modern rustic and warm. They have a great selection of salads and food in the case, but the menu items are my favorite! Everyone working there was attentive and made our Suprema experience great! If you're dining in, I recommend the Mozzarella in Carrozza or Aranchini as a starter. I'm in love with the Valle d'Aosta sandwich and the Pasta Carbonara, next time I'll try one of their salads! I just moved to Rutherford, and my parents joined me at Suprema for a small celebratory 'moving out' dinner. All three of us were delighted with everything from the exceptional service to the absolutely delicious food. The ambiance of Suprema is wonderful. It has a nice rustic feel to it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We felt so taken care of! Now for the food. I don't even know where to begin. We shared the burrata and arancini for appetizers. The burrata was probably the best burrata cheese I've ever had, and I would honestly go back just to get that appetizer! It comes drizzled with a delicious balsamic glaze, and is served with crisp cherry tomatoes and arugula, also mixed in a balsamic. The arancini are the real deal, and the sauce they are served with is amazing. For my entree, I had the orecchiette pasta with tricolor cauliflower. Such a simple dish, but so so satisfying. The cauliflower was cooked to perfection, and the pasta tasted homemade. My parents also got pasta dishes, and loved them. The menu here is small, so you know that everything is fresh. Despite being a small menu, all three of us had multiple things we wanted to get. My mom and I are vegetarian and my dad is not, but there were so many options for all three of us. That is rare! I highly recommend Suprema. I was there last night and I'm already making a reservation for Saturday with friends. read more
