    $4.99 six count onion rings
    Lyn M.

My husband and I came here to get sandwiches for lunch. He ordered a cheese steak with a side of onion rings. The sandwich is $9.99 and onion rings $4.99. The order of onion rings consisted of six. For $9.99 he got a cheese steak flavored Italian roll. There was so little steak on the bread. Never again will I come to this place. I got a ham & Swiss on Rye and it was good but we were ripped off on my husband's order. I did say something about the lack of onion rings for the price and the guy behind the counter just walked away.

I havebt tried much but this is for a breakfast sandwich. I got Taylor ham in a toasted bagel. I should of been going here all along! Look at the amount of meat they give you!

Great sandwich shop with plenty of chips and other snacks. Its a great place to grab lunch to go!

Italian sub and a tall Pabst to wash it down. How Saturday lunch should be.

Stopped in here for the first time today, boy was that a mistake waiting so long to do that since moving here 5 years ago. I ordered an Italian sub with everything on it, figured that's a good place to start when trying a new place for sandwiches. Damn was this thing stacked! Big portions of beautifully thin sliced meats, great quality and fresh as hell at that. Shredded lettuce (the best), tomato and onion added a nice crispness and bite to the sandwich. The bread was also great, soft and a little chewy but firm and supportive. Big beautiful sandwich and a 24oz of PBR for $8.54 out the door. Can't beat that at all.

Hands down the BEST sandwiches within all surrounding towns. E.Rutherford, Carlstadt, Woodridge, N.Arlington, Lyndhurst..! Forest Dairy is a long time business and a hidden gem among some of the over priced more elaborate eateries on Park Ave. Great quality REAL bread and the cold cuts are always ice cold so fresh and the sandwiches are layered perfectly into a mile high portion! Home style good stuff!! Hungry yet!? Order ahead avoid a wait. Like mom would make!

Won't let paying customers use their bathroom. I'm sure the employees don't walk across the street when they have to go. Ridiculous

Little more pricey than your supermarket, but it's good to support local small businesses.

Fresh, chunky, delicious deli sandwiches. Despite how crowded it gets around lunch time, the line moves quickly and the staff is very nice.

Absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more The pastrami is insanely tender like melt in your mouth kind of good. The sandwich is definitely messy, but that's how you know it's done right when its packed and stacked with meat! Even with a line out the door, the guys behind the counter cutting the meat are friendly and keep things moving. They even hand out samples while you wait, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming (and honestly makes the wait easier).

Update: I've finally tried the pastrami. The sandwiches are huge. We got the pastrami cheese…read morefries, and a corned beef reuben. The pastrami is really good and is very tender. The fries are steak fries, which I don't typically love but it worked well as a vehicle for the pastrami. The corned beef is a bit dry. We had some pierogies but these were superrrr oily. We also ordered a matzoh ball soup because I've never had it before. But the second I saw them microwave it in a plastic container, I knew I had made a mistake. It was basically just a matzoh ball in very salty chicken bouillon water. I'm sad that was my first matzoh ball soup experience but am not deterred from finding a real one elsewhere. Based on my previous visit and this one, it seems like you should just stick to a classic pastrami sandwich. It's big enough to share between two people. Next time, I'd like to dine in and eat it fresh. The sandwiches also come with a bunch of pickles, which was nice. Tip #1 - there is a parking lot but because there are so many stores and it's next to Bratek Deli, it's a nightmare. It did also happen to be Good Friday, so maybe that made it worse? I don't remember it being that bad the first time around. Tip #2 - I called ahead to place my order but still had to wait 15 minutes extra after the quoted time. They prioritize walk-in customers, so you might as well just order in store.

4.5 stars My friend…read moreand I were going to a concert in Rutherford and wanted to grab dinner beforehand. There were so many excellent options on Park Avenue that it was hard to select one, but we wound up settling on Suprema. The restaurant was an easy 5-minute walk from the train station and was, thankfully, very warm and cozy inside on that chilly evening. The service that we experienced throughout the night was also very friendly and gracious. After we were seated, we were told that the restaurant was BYO and that there was a liquor store across the street. I decided to quickly run over and grab a bottle of wine, since we had some time to enjoy our meal before the show started. In addition to the bottle of red, we began our dinner with a complementary bread basket and an appetizer to share. Sadly, the slices of bread were rather dry and hard, so I only indulged in a few bites. However, our Rice Ball starter was unbelievable! We received three massive, fried spheres of creamy risotto and gooey mozzarella that were sitting in a sweet, herbaceous basil pomodoro sauce. They were honestly the best arancini I thought I had ever had! For my main course, I ordered the Chicken Porcini, which included two large Bell & Evans boneless chicken breasts, served over a light, creamy golden potato puree. The poultry was topped with fresh, roasted cremini and porcini mushrooms, as well as a sweet wine and porcini glaze. It felt like an upscale, modern version of a chicken marsala. I adored every aspect of the dish, from the tender chicken to the aromatic mushrooms to the homestyle mashed potatoes (an item I do not even typically like). Suprema provided a stellar meal in a relaxed atmosphere that was the perfect pre-concert vibe we were looking for. Plus, the food was amazing, so we definitely made a wise choice in picking the place.

Highlights: Fried Calamari and meatball appetizers were great!…read more Mid-lights: The vodka chicken parm with rigatoni was good, but the chicken was a little too soft/soggy. Also the portions were a little small. Lowlights: The restaurant was a little understaffed, wait times for water, to take our order, to get our food was extremely long. 4 dishes ordered and dinner was 2.5 hours... Overall the food was good but pricey for what it was.
