These are SO good!
Cassy B.

Truly 5 stars all around. Huge parking lot, I'm never fighting someone for a spot. Super spacious and great layout. The workers here are so helpful, I literally just walked by the deli department and someone was already asking if I needed help. She was so sweet and sliced everything perfectly. No complaints at all! The bakery is beautiful and I'm sure I'll be grabbing cakes from there from now on. The bagels are really really delicious. I don't know if they bake them in house but I bought a jalepeno cheddar bagel and put it in the toaster and it tasted just like a bagel shop. Delicious. They also have fun options I've never seen at other shoprites, like a cappuccino muffin! Produce is perfectly laid out and fresh. So many options. They're always in stock of every sale item. They also have a great meat department. Always have what I'm looking for. Overall, this is definitely the best shoprite in the area.

New Vegan dips!

Really clean store and lots of options. Big store which I think is good for carrying a variety of products. My only suggestion is that the vegan products in the store aren't really organized in a way that is easy to find. Some of the vegan products are stored together where other products are scattered with different departments. Once you get an idea where everything is you'll be okay, but I do think the store would benefit from a natural/organic/specialty food aisle. I really love that the store has a clearance rack. This ensures food and household products aren't wasted.

This Shoprite never disappoints me. I just don't come here during the day on Sundays because it's so crowded so I love to come here on off peak times....at night. It's clean, plenty of parking and staff is very friendly. Some tips for being a Shoprite customer: - Download their app because they have digital coupons and you can load them onto your price plus card - Shoprite has their weekly circular broken down in categories so you just click the item on sale and it automatically goes into your shopping list - Once your done with your shopping list then while you shop check each item off. - The shopping lists also include your digital coupons. - If you go on Sunday night, they sell the Record newspaper and other coupons are in there. It's $1.50 for a paper. - Once you checkout, you'll see the digital coupons come off at the bottom of your receipt. There's also other options to use on the Shoprite app like recipes. It's worth a download.

Great availability as far as fresh meats, cheeses and produces apart from the other area shoprite. Always plenty assistance, great prices and fast moving lines unlike others. Clean store, well lit and tons of healthy options

I ordered a custom cake for a birthday, the cake looked fine. However, I asked for only chocolate buttercreme and I got vanilla buttercreme too. Also, they didn't put any frosting in the middle. The cake was disgusting, three people tried it and we all thought it was nasty. We definitely aren't eating anymore of this cake, which is unfortunate because it's a waste ‍

Love this shoprite. My only complaint is the cashiers. They act like they don't want to bag your groceries and they aren't friendly.

Absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more The pastrami is insanely tender like melt in your mouth kind of good. The sandwich is definitely messy, but that's how you know it's done right when its packed and stacked with meat! Even with a line out the door, the guys behind the counter cutting the meat are friendly and keep things moving. They even hand out samples while you wait, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming (and honestly makes the wait easier).

Update: I've finally tried the pastrami. The sandwiches are huge. We got the pastrami cheese…read morefries, and a corned beef reuben. The pastrami is really good and is very tender. The fries are steak fries, which I don't typically love but it worked well as a vehicle for the pastrami. The corned beef is a bit dry. We had some pierogies but these were superrrr oily. We also ordered a matzoh ball soup because I've never had it before. But the second I saw them microwave it in a plastic container, I knew I had made a mistake. It was basically just a matzoh ball in very salty chicken bouillon water. I'm sad that was my first matzoh ball soup experience but am not deterred from finding a real one elsewhere. Based on my previous visit and this one, it seems like you should just stick to a classic pastrami sandwich. It's big enough to share between two people. Next time, I'd like to dine in and eat it fresh. The sandwiches also come with a bunch of pickles, which was nice. Tip #1 - there is a parking lot but because there are so many stores and it's next to Bratek Deli, it's a nightmare. It did also happen to be Good Friday, so maybe that made it worse? I don't remember it being that bad the first time around. Tip #2 - I called ahead to place my order but still had to wait 15 minutes extra after the quoted time. They prioritize walk-in customers, so you might as well just order in store.

4.5 stars My friend…read moreand I were going to a concert in Rutherford and wanted to grab dinner beforehand. There were so many excellent options on Park Avenue that it was hard to select one, but we wound up settling on Suprema. The restaurant was an easy 5-minute walk from the train station and was, thankfully, very warm and cozy inside on that chilly evening. The service that we experienced throughout the night was also very friendly and gracious. After we were seated, we were told that the restaurant was BYO and that there was a liquor store across the street. I decided to quickly run over and grab a bottle of wine, since we had some time to enjoy our meal before the show started. In addition to the bottle of red, we began our dinner with a complementary bread basket and an appetizer to share. Sadly, the slices of bread were rather dry and hard, so I only indulged in a few bites. However, our Rice Ball starter was unbelievable! We received three massive, fried spheres of creamy risotto and gooey mozzarella that were sitting in a sweet, herbaceous basil pomodoro sauce. They were honestly the best arancini I thought I had ever had! For my main course, I ordered the Chicken Porcini, which included two large Bell & Evans boneless chicken breasts, served over a light, creamy golden potato puree. The poultry was topped with fresh, roasted cremini and porcini mushrooms, as well as a sweet wine and porcini glaze. It felt like an upscale, modern version of a chicken marsala. I adored every aspect of the dish, from the tender chicken to the aromatic mushrooms to the homestyle mashed potatoes (an item I do not even typically like). Suprema provided a stellar meal in a relaxed atmosphere that was the perfect pre-concert vibe we were looking for. Plus, the food was amazing, so we definitely made a wise choice in picking the place.

Highlights: Fried Calamari and meatball appetizers were great!…read more Mid-lights: The vodka chicken parm with rigatoni was good, but the chicken was a little too soft/soggy. Also the portions were a little small. Lowlights: The restaurant was a little understaffed, wait times for water, to take our order, to get our food was extremely long. 4 dishes ordered and dinner was 2.5 hours... Overall the food was good but pricey for what it was.
