Review on brow wax only: I just stopped in without an appointment and they took me within seconds, huge plus. I was asked how I wanted my brows, another plus! She took her time and was helpful, however after all was said and done, I want to cry! My brows are NOT anything like I described and what's left is a pencil thin mess! Not only do I have to cover my brows now with my hair, she told me there was a $2 service charge fee with credit cards. Which is NOT disclosed anywhere on site. I'm livid. I was still nice and gave her a tip, but paid for something that I'm so embarrassed about. Skip on coming here for your waxing needs.

I wanted to try this place since last year, because of their suggestive deal of $49 massage, in a Thai Spa. I kinda assume it was Thai Massage... but you know the story with ass-u- me, right? Once again my left let and back were acting out. Time to get stretched and massaged, so I thought about trying this place Called this place and booked an appointment with a supposedly deal $69 for 1 hr massage and 1 hr facial. They asked me for the credit card info upfront, which I thought it was a bit too aggressive... but that's just me... Great Deal, uh? Well not so much... Suphattra's Retreat is a nice place, very well decorated with Thai elements, flowers, pretty pillows etc http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/suphattras-retreat-orange?select=8veGc40McvY51kvoZhouTA http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/suphattras-retreat-orange?select=8veGc40McvY51kvoZhouTA#HlDNj-LPkb9BVtlAd6Xc4g http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/suphattras-retreat-orange?select=8veGc40McvY51kvoZhouTA#FA5tTrW_THGzBmNLtuFAdw I had to fill some forms and then I was in my merry way to get my massage. The room was pretty neat as well. I had this pretty arrangement http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/suphattras-retreat-orange?select=8veGc40McvY51kvoZhouTA#gP6kr-Uv1n20yEh236B_tA Then the masseuse came in and started massaging me, when I asked about the stretching (as in Thai massage) she completely ignored me, and kept asking me "is it ok? is it to hard?" I asked her twice and gave up. Maybe that was all her English? I'm not sure... Then some other lady came in and told me she was doing my facial. The facial over all was kinda meh, like a $20 facial... Bottom line I didn't get a Thai massage my leg and back was craving, but a regular table massage. Don't take me wrong but it somehow helped with my pain but it wasn't what I expected (and craved) The facial was ok but when I got home I realized that the esthetician left in my face pieces of the last mask. I t looked kinda funny but IMO that's quite unprofessional! not to mention embarrassing for me =( Granted the room was kinda dark, but still that's not excuse... One more thing, when iIwas leaving asked about the Thai massage and i was told it was an "enhancement" of the regular massage and it would have been $20 more.. so the price wasn't as good as I thought. Moral of the story: You get what you paid for. or at least in this case I did...

Suphattra's Retreat provided me with an afternoon of relaxation after a long week of work. The service was excellent. The price is even better. I used a groupon that cost only $69 for a 1 hour long massage + 1 hour long facial. Facilities are new and clean. Why only 3 stars you may ask? MASSAGE: I can't quite put my finger on it, but something important was missing. Although the massage was decent, she didn't quite work out the knots and kinks in my back that I had hoped. Although it was a thai massage that involved stretching, it wasn't as intensive as other thai massages that I have had and seemed more like a watered down version. There was a lot of gentle rubbing which I may or may not like. Since my muscles were really sore from wakeboarding the day before, I was disappointed by the lack of umpth in my massage. FACIAL: I haven't gotten very many facials in my life, but the ones that I have gotten left me feeling pampered and my face clean. This facial consisted of a face wash with a thick creamy soap that I didn't like the feeling of. Then she wiped off the soap slowly with wet wipes. Then she put on a thick cold exfoliating cream. Then wiped it off slowly with wipes. She did some extractions which I think made some my acne worse, and then told me that I had really great skin, so she was just going to moisturize and put on sunscreen for me. *shrugs* The service is so excellent, and everyone was so attentive. Unfortunately, I just felt there was a slight lack of professionalism, and a lack of *spark* in this peaceful massage dreamland.

So I drove on over and was greater by Vivian, who was to be the facial lady and Mary for the foot massage.

Book your appointment here, you will not regret it!…read more This is my absolute favorite spot. I'm a loyal regular because Julie has made this experience seamless from the jump. I'm also so *appreciative* of their scheduling team. They actually call you back if you miss them, which is basically a miracle. Julie's kindness and warm energy makes me feel like a valued community member rather than just another customer on the books. Now let's talk about Kim. Wow. I've had her three times now and my goodness, she is a wizard. She executes every step with so much care that I now upgrade to the highest package every single time just because she's that incredible. The menu here is next level. Between the jade roller, the gua sha stone, and the red light therapy, I feel like I'm being prepped for a red carpet. The moisturizing serum is pure gold, and the foot massage is the only thing keeping my sanity intact. Hahaha jokes aside, it's amaaaazing. After the head spa experience, my hair feels like a million bucks. But the real highlight? That blow dry experience. I leave feeling like a chaotic mixture of a total baddie with amazing hair and a professional show dog that's easily the prettiest competitor in the ring. I can't wait to return. The ambiance and the service equals premium relaxation for me. As someone that works really hard, booking these appointments is everything. 10/10 would recommend!

My specialist, Tracy, was amazing. She was gentle, professional, and made the whole experience feel luxurious from start to finish. The scalp massage, warm water treatment, and attention to detail were so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. Throughout my recovery, she has consistently provided professional, therapeutic care with patience, skill, and genuine concern for my well-being. She always goes the extra mile to make sure I leave feeling relieved and fully taken care of. I recently followed Anna to her new location at Blue Ocean Massage because I was dealing with significant pain again today, and once again her service was outstanding. The environment was relaxing, professional, and completely focused on helping clients feel better physically and mentally. I also want to make something very clear for anyone reading reviews online: this is a legitimate, professional massage business. There is absolutely no "hanky-panky" involved - just honest, high-quality massage therapy from someone who truly cares about her clients and their recovery. I highly recommend both Blue Ocean Massage and Jin's Massage in Sylmar. Anna spent a great deal of time at Jin's Massage before moving to Blue Ocean Massage, and both places have some of the best massage talent in Southern California. Good therapists are hard to find, especially ones who truly care about their clients, and these businesses have earned my respect through professionalism, consistency, and genuine care. Anna has helped me tremendously over many months, and I'm grateful for the dedication and professionalism she brings every single visit. If you are looking for real therapeutic massage and someone who takes pride in their work, I strongly recommend these businesses.

Some therapists are very attentive to pressure and needs, while others don't check in at all. I recently booked for a group of four for Mother's Day, and it was disappointing. Two of the therapists (a male and female) were talking, laughing, and the male therapist was even eating while working. It was not relaxing at all, especially since we paid extra for add-on services. Additionally, the checkout process is uncomfortable. We paid upfront, but the front desk followed us into the hallway to ask for more money, clearly hovering for a tip. Even after leaving a $30 tip, the attitude was quite dismissive and ungrateful. I hope they work on their professionalism.
