Terrible experience with Super Shuttle tonight leaving Sky Harbor Terminal 4. I reserved and paid for my ride weeks ago, then followed instructions to get to the pick up location before completing the online check in. I waited 45 minutes for a van to be assigned and it was an hour from my check in until I was actually on the van. This is too long to wait for a ride, especially when you've made a reservation. A number of other passengers had the same experience. I live in central Phoenix and there are too many other options available for me to put up with this. I've never this happen before and I use Super Shuttle several times a year. The driver was fine, but the wait time was unacceptable. read more

My weekly Phoenix area review of the rip off artists at Super Shuttle... I was abandoned at Los Angeles Intl Airport on December 24,2019 after the driver instructed me to retrieve my luggage and meet him outside in the arrival lane... Be aware that Super Shuttle had already announced the end of service at LAX to take place 7 days later, thus, really could have cared less about their commitments for PAID accounts they agreed to provide service for after I found NO driver outside... Shows what their corporate mentality is when I called the dispatcher and all he told me to do was call and hire them again and wait... telling me that I was a "no show"...Bulls***, I was there...the driver wasn't (AFTER I paid $200 for round trip to and from the airport)...They do not accept phone calls for complaints and require an e-mail which I have sent twice in the past nearly 3 months and have heard nothing from them... My payment confirmation numbers #3444768 and #344769...Advice...take a regular cab...price is the same, you'll get better service, and they won't leave you hanging following two flights totaling 16 hours...SuperShuttle is a horrible organization that does not honor it's commitments if their driver can come up with an easier fare instead of waiting 10 minutes for you to retrieve your luggage, and will leave you hanging the day before Christmas... read more

We have used the SuperShuttle to and from Sky Harbor-Phoenix many times. We always get great service from the driver and the airport staff. We see SuperShuttles almost everyday in our community, so I bet our neighbors would agree with me. And their app is great. I have used SuperShuttle in various cities for over 15 years. I have used them because they were always a dependable & reasonable service. I have just had my second bad experience in a row and I don't think I will be using them any longer. Last Wednesday I had a reservation made in advance to be picked up and driven to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. But *20 minutes before my pick-up time* I was called and told that they would not be able to pick me up!! What!! I said you can't have someone here in 30-45 minutes even? "No. We are recommending that you find alternative transportation to the airport". The conversation was longer, but reduced to the above. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! Extraordinarily stressful! I don't write a lot of Yelp or other social media reviews. But this was *egregious* and I don't want someone like an older person without the resources or ability to have to deal with this situation. As a former hotel manager for several large international chains, if someone had dropped the ball like this, one of the managers would have picked up the keys and driven someone in their own car if they had to! It's all about accountability, integrity & dedication to your clients - and a matter of personal honor. Attributes of good management that SuperShuttle management is obviously oblivious to. The website malfunctioned, so my reservation was not properly received. My ride to the airport did not show up, leaving me to scramble for a plan B and nearly miss my flight. The customer-service agent assured me I'd receive a refund. After waiting several weeks, I contacted them again, and they denied my refund. read more

Leaving Phoenix tonight, heading north on Hwy 87, I was cut off by a Super shuttle van 520 three times. First time was at the light just north of loop 202, the second was about a half mile from there. The third time the blonde hair driver passed a mini van on the right on the shoulder came across two lanes almost side swiped us and then jammed on the brakes almost driving us into the ditch. I tried to call their office and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. Make your own call, but this incident of road rage makes me wonder about this company's commitment to safety. read more

I will never use this company again! When you book a last minute flight because you have to get back home, sometimes you can make mistakes booking dates and times. The customer service was so horrible. I understand that things happen but you would think that since they have the ability to look up flight times and see flight numbers that they would make sure that coincides with the actual time of your flight. They tried to pick me up a day early for my flight and still charged me for it. I am not pleased with how they handled this situation and you would think they would have more compassion for someone under duress. read more

I was in the van for 1 Hour and 35 minutes for a trip to the airport that should have taken 45 minutes! The routing was horrible. Made 3 additional stops. Lots of backtracking. Fortunately, I made my flight but not without a lot of anxious moments with me watching my watch. The shuttle never showed up. We called customer service, and they said "the driver is not answering the phone, sorry." As a result, we has to order a taxi and missed our flight, causing additional airline fees. I then emailed the president and other senior managers, receiving no response. Supershuttle's pick-up service is so-so. The real issue is their customer service. I got on the line to confirm a pick-up and clarify the pick-up location, because drivers often have difficulty finding the entrance to the building. I also wanted to check if the drivers had my # to call if they arrived in the area and weren't sure where to find me. The agent had a thick Southern drawl and it became evident why she was in this dead-end role - not only did she patronize me and repeatedly (to the point of cognitive deficiency) reiterate that "Welllllll, I'd HOPE that the drive would call but ma'am, not all the drivers do" - she totally missed the point of why I was calling. Which was to explain details. She not helpfully suggested that I make sure to be outside by the entrance so the drive could see me. I slowly explained that the driver would need my information so that s/he COULD see the entrance. It went in circles like that with her helplessly laughing at her own incompetence in communication. God lord, lady, this is your ENTIRE JOB. Most frustrating 6 minutes wasted, ever. read more

Super convenient way to get transportation to and from the airport. Convenient app lets you schedule the ride in advance. Text messages confirm the trip, tell you when the driver is on the way and gives you the van number to look for and a picture of your driver. The text message also allows you to track your van as it makes it's way to pick you up. SuperShuttle is the only way to go if you are not driving yourself while out of town. read more

Both my trip to and from the airport with SS was fantastic! Check-in to get to the hotel from the airport was easy and I only had to wait a few minutes for the van to take me away. Super Shuttle works very well for my transportation needs to & from my home in Surprise, AZ to PHX. Fares are reasonable. If you share your ride you need to plan ahead. I always use a 3 hour window and never had a problem. Many drivers use GPS, but not all. I always print off a set of directions from Map Quest just in case! Waits at PHX have been reasonable no matter what time I arrive. My latest arrival was after midnight and I did not have a problem getting service for a ride to my home. I am actually changing my review right now because when I did my initial survey it provided me with an option to receive 10% off my next ride and a tab to click here to redeem offer. I tried 3 times and I was not able to apply the 10% to my reservation because there was no code. So I called SS and the agent I spoke to had no idea what discount I was talking about as I described the computer screen I was looking at to him 3 times. He said he had to ask his manager and put me on hold for 47 minutes and then I was disconnected. I knocked 2 stars off because of the agents I have dealt with by phone. The first time I called to get some information for my trip - the agent was very rude and I was concerned because I was flying in on a Holiday and I have never used them in Phoenix before. I would've given 5 stars because the curbside person and Dale the driver were very friendly and helpful. I was picked up promptly and arrived at my destination very quickly. Because of those 2 people and the informative emails and texts the company provides - I will definitely use them on my return trip. However, their customer service people on the phone are horrible. read more

We used Super Shuttle to and from Sky Harbor for our recent vacation. Both drivers were friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, Hannah, the coordinator on the curb at Phx Sky Harbor should not be working in customer service. She acted as though we were a huge inconvenience and disgusted that she had to turn her headphone volume down. It was like pulling teeth to get an answer out of her. If you like waiting out in the 110 degree heat at the airport curb for 30 minutes while the shuttle loops around the airport aimlessly for a passenger who is clearly not showing up and follow that with the hour and a half ride to get you 10 miles back home, than this is the ideal transport service for you.
