    SPAGHETTINI CARBONARA

The ambiance was super cute and inviting, and the service was excellent. Christian was friendly and attentive from start to finish. We started with chips and guac, plus salsa. The dips were good, but the chips themselves were a bit too hard and could've used seasoning. Next up was the grilled calamari, and honestly, it was the best. Perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, we were tempted to order a second round. The Caesar salad was fresh and decent, but nothing particularly memorable. For mains, we tried the spaghetti and meatballs, chicken sandwich, and pork chop. All were really well-executed and hit the spot. On the side, the mac & cheese came highly recommended, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The coleslaw, on the other hand, was surprisingly delicious. Overall, it's a fun spot with great energy and solid food. I'll definitely be back, and next time, I'm doubling up on that calamari.

We went to see my a creators artwork and discovered a beautiful place to connect. We pooped in for great conversation and drinks. Randomly reconnected with an old friend. Unfortunately when we arrived the kitchen was closed. I want to return and try the food. They had a pool table and large tables for groups. A nice lounge area to keep the party still going for late nights.

Food was mediocre. Service was okay. It is a very lively atmosphere though so I'd give them that. This was a last minute decision since we flew in late. Probably won't be back here

Great ambiance. Amazing food. I had the burger and fries and it was delicious!! Highly recommend. Wife had enchiladas with green sauce. Also very very good. I'd give 5 stars if waiter would have checked on us and offered me another drink.,Once we got our food we didn't see him again until he picked up our plates. He was also hosting, place was not over crowded. Highly recommend.

Found this place by chance, it was crowded and loud and there was a local grassroots band playing. We were able to get a table and placed our orders. The menu had a variety of items. My dish was good but it was swimming in sauce, not much rice but it was filling. The food is supposed to be farm to table. It served its purpose of providing a satisfying meal.

I came here on a Thursday night around 7:30. We were seated right away. The restaurant had a cozy, upscale pub vibe. There seemed to be a private special event going on and there was a live band, which created a nice ambiance. They have a pool table in the front of the restaurant. To drink, I had the Big Brooklyn Apple. None of the flavors came through. It tasted like a watery mimosa. I wouldn't recommend it. To eat, I had the spaghettini. It was delicious. The firm noodles were tossed with broccolini, cauliflower, onions, and parmesan cheese. It was light, but flavorful. My sister got the pork chop and loved it. The accompanying mac and cheese was tasty, with a sharp Vermont cheddar. Our servers were very friendly. My expectations were exceeded!

Superfine has a perfect corner location just under the bridge. The outside is quite deceiving; however, the doors open up into a fairly large bar and dining area which can accommodate a few large parties. The decor has a a very eclectic vibe with colorful eye-catching art sculpted on the walls of the bar. There is also live music, and you may even catch a glimpse of the owner singing on stage. This place can get very busy, which actually may enhance the energy depending on what you're looking for. I found myself just looking around at times taking in everything around me. I cannot comment on the food since all I had was a slice of wedding cake ( hint* I was there for a wedding celebration), but I would definitely check this place out again.

Or group stopped by for a bit and was surprised with a blue grass band playing in Dumbo area! Everyone was very friendly and we happened to grab the only available table left. I ate the hamburger with shoe string fries and a Brooklyn Brown ale. Inside had cool decorations and the bar has a high side and a low side.

I loved everything about Superfine from the fairy lights out side to the cool artwork & really friendly staff. This area does not seem to have that many casual, down to earth spots and escape the deafening noise from above, but Superfine is that place for sure. Might I add reasonable drinks too ? We were meeting a large group for a celebration and arrived a bit early to start our Fri-Yah. Interesting bi-level bar, a few seats up, a few seats down and a whole lot of cozy tables & a pool table. The food was delicious, we had an enormous tray of meats & cheese & sliders, veggies & vegan pasta which a fat rigatoni with peas and lots of caramelized garlic. Plates were cleared quickly, with a smile. When in DUMBO, this would be my go to.

Came in for some dinner based on a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. We opted to sit by the bar for some much needed alcoholic beverages after a long day at work. After a few drink I decided on the Pork Chop with Mac-n-Cheese. This a hands down the best pork chop I've ever had. Thick, cooked to perfection, full of flavor and very moist. If I find myself back in NY I'll definitely be going back.

Came to Superfine recently in the dumbo area and it was very cute and fun inside. A great environment for a nice but also casual dinner. I tried the sea bass tacos and they were great! The fish was perfectly cooked and all the taco toppings were tasty. There was no cilantro which was great for me since I don't like cilantro. Also tried some of their chips and guacamole and wine. All was good! Service was very friendly and accommodating. They did a good job handling our bigger table. A great choice for larger group dinners!

It ended up being a nice spot for a casual catch-up, though with a few mixed impressions. The space itself is cute and very much feels like a neighborhood bar. One of the things we liked most was that they have games available--we ended up playing Scrabble while waiting for our friend to arrive, which made the time go by quickly and added to the relaxed vibe. Happy hour prices are solid, and the fried pickles we shared were decent. I also had a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and perfectly fine, if not particularly memorable. Service was a bit inconsistent. The bartender wasn't very warm or welcoming to us initially, though that changed once our friend--who is a regular--arrived. Overall, it's a comfortable spot to meet friends and hang out for a few hours, especially on a weekday like Thursday. That said, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I can see why it works well as a local neighborhood hang.

Not too crowded, the wait for a pool table was about 30 minutes, enough for a quick round of shuffleboarding. The games are relatively cheap, and there's so much variety, ping pong and board games. The live jazz is really what sets this place apart from the other pool halls, starting around 7 pm with what seems like maybe the house band and I think they have guests later in the night. It's the perfect atmosphere, fun lighting, lots of grungy writing on the walls, good indie music from the 2010s before the jazz starts. Plus the spacing of the tables is good so you're not constantly bumping into other players, which is a pet peeve of mine. I'm sure it's busier later in the night but it's perfect for an early stop in the evening. Cheap drinks and good deals as well!

It's actually a legacy spot in disguise. This basement used to house Fat Cat, a longtime West Village institution that shut down right before the pandemic, and before that the room itself was a bowling alley, tucked into a 1932 Art Deco building a few steps from Stonewall. Drink selection isn't the draw here, don't come expecting a deep cocktail list. Crowd skews heavily undergrad, and the place is loud, so it's not the spot for an intimate one-on-one or a real group conversation. It's built for a different kind of hang: elbow your way to a table, keep your hands busy, let the noise do the rest. For a place that is popular enough to have reservations snapped up immediately, a strict cancellation fee (for an end-of-night reservation that wouldn't have been booked anyways) seems to be just an extra cash grab. It simply does not make sense to charge a sub-24 hour cancellation fee for a sub-24 hour booked res. Context -- I had seen that a couple of 10pm reservations had been available **for a few days**, so I booked one on the same day. When I went to cancel it, DoorDash showed "you may be charged a fee of 0.00" Sweet! Then, I see a $50 charge on my card and emailed the business. I'll leave the response here so you can decide for yourself. -- We apologize for any confusion caused by the cancellation notification. At the time a reservation is cancelled, the system states, "Cancelling right now may trigger a cancellation fee of $0.00". We use the word may as cancellations are reviewed and applied at our discretion, particularly when a guest reaches out with enough notice for us to have an opportunity to rebook the table. In this case, the reservation was cancelled during our service period, and we were unable to rebook the table. As noted in the cancellation policy which is followed by the infromation prompt, cancellations made within this window are subject to our cancellation fee. We completely understand how seeing the initial $0.00 amount could have caused confusion, and we appreciate you reaching out to clarify. However, as the reservation was canceled within the cancellation window, the fee does apply and we are unable to reverse the charge. Thank you for your understanding.
