Great haircut got exactly what I asked for. Conversation was difficult, seemed annoyed that I arrived.

I normally don't post negative reviews, but this was over the top for me. I went into the Damonte Ranch location with an online appointment and waited. The stylist who greeted me said "we'll be right with you" and told her I made an appointmen, but then she left. The only other stylist took a gentleman who was already there before me, so I patiently waited. When the first stylist didn't come back, my son politely asked if the other stylist was coming back. She nastily said "you mean my stylist who just left for lunch"? My son said he didn't know she was at lunch. The answer he got was "you mean the one who just said she was going to lunch"? Her tone was sharp and rude. At that point I stood up to leave and was told "have a good day". I told her I probably would not and she barked "whatever". For someone working in a service industry she needs to learn some manners. Not a good experience and will not ever go back. I went to Great Clips and had a fantastic hair cut and was treated as though they wanted my business. read more

Went back to this location very excited after the great experience the boys had with our stylist the last time I was there. Unfortunately she is no longer there. I've been coming for a long time to this location, and even more unfortunately for me I got Robert. By the way I had to go to great clips to get this hair fixed after Robert butchered me. They had to buzz my head the cut was so bad. It's one thing to get a bad haircut. We've all had them. It happens I suppose. But the unprofessional behavior, bad haircut, as well as filthy workspace for Robert? 3 strikes you're out! If you must go to this location, see one of the ladies. I wish I could give less than one star. I should've taken a picture of the hack job he gave me but I couldn't get to another place fast enough to fix it. Awful experience. read more

Let me start by saying this Supercuts is very clean, the staff are extremely personable and the operation seems to run very smoothly, but I am personally not a customer of these types of salons because each of my experiences over the years have always ended in disappointment due to the stylist's level of skill. I believe each location has talented stylists, but if you don't know who they are, you are left with whoever is available, as happened during my recent visit, which ended as described above and that's why I am sharing it here. My son needed a haircut and this location had a decent Yelp rating and photos of haircuts similar to the one he wanted, so I figured why not. We walked in and there were a few stylists available, and the next available was a taller brunette woman, so we got our info in the system and sat down to talk style. I shared a photo of the cut he picked out and simplified it by saying I just wanted a clean clipper fade to a longer top that he can spike up messy, similar to the photo, and she said she was good to go. I've had a cut similar, so I've sat through this process before, and what we ended up with was simply a sloppy cut seemingly without attention to detail. Uneven blending and fading all over, choppy and uneven bangs when not styled, and an oddly shaped line all the way around. When she seemed finished with the fade and top and moved on to do the line up, I pointed out several places that were uneven, which she went back over, but in the end there were still many places left that way and I just wanted to get him out of the chair. On top of that, the photo my son picked had a very sharp and thin pencil line shaved into the fade running from the ear back. He asked her about it when he sat down and she said she could definitely do that if he wanted, but decided he wasn't sure at that point. He changed his mind at the end, so she got the clippers and proceeded to shave a line an inch thick out of his fade. After going back 3 or so inches she luckily stopped to ask me if it was far enough. I was on the opposite side and was shocked to see it, and said yes! I do not expect award winning stylists here, but I do expect them to be able to execute basic cuts like clipper fades, especially when you share a photo of the desired style. I don't even expect the cut to match a photo exactly, but I do expect it to be done properly in the end, and sadly I've never had that happen. The cost of haircuts has gone up, but paying $22 for a kids haircut is already a tough pill to swallow. Having it turn out like this is very disappointing and makes that price even worse. I'll be sticking to a local salon from here on out, regardless of price. read more

I would just like to say that I never write reviews but this had to happen. there's a wonderful artist named Sarah who could not be more amazing at her job. not only does she strive for excellence but she does so through tremendous pain and significant hearing loss. we never know anyone's story unless we stop and listen and I'm so glad that I did. Today we absolutely struck gold at our local Supercuts. We lucked out and got Hannah, at the end of the cut, which was amazing by the way, she asked him if he would like a design. He's been asking to get a design cut into his hair for several years. Nobody has really been able to do anything that was anywhere near mine. When she offered Kole jumped on the opportunity. She did this amazing snow flake on his head & he was giddy after we left. The ladies there ran a tight ship, they were sanitizing everything on the go. I saw one very unpleasant lady take her misery out on one of the girls that work there and she handled it so well. I think they are doing a wonderful job in these hard times. One of the girls I fixed a home 'covid' cut while we were there, and did a great job but she had to work with. If you are looking for any designs in your hair, definitely ask for Hannah! On Wednesday Sept 11th, my daughter, granddaughter, and myself got haircuts. We loved it! Sara was fantastic with my ten year old granddaughter. I think she would go back today just so she could hang with Sara. I'm thrilled with my haircut and my daughter thought Armando was great. I would recommend them both to everyone. This place is absolutely horrible. When you make an appointment for 12:00 I expect to have my APPOINTMENT by 12:00. I waited 30 mins and this guy Robert took 40 mins to do this guys hair cut explaining things about his hair the whole time cutting. read more

I don't think is good location to go to. I make appointments for my son hair cut at 11.20am still need to wait after appointment for 40 minutes for hair cut !!! Because they accept to walk in first. I scheduled an appt the day before with Robert for High Lights and a cut, when I showed up he acted surprised and bothered, and took a while to find me in his appt schedule, then barked at me to sit down he had a few cuts to do with was in before me because someone had called in sick. Then as other clients walked through the door, they were all barked at as well. I took that as my sign to leave, not wanting a rude stressed out and angry person cutting m hair. When I called later in the day to speak with a manager about it, she told me "I should have given him the benefit of the doubt because he is a good guy " .....so much for professionalism, I have always liked supporting this company but I guess its time to raise the bar on beauty ! bye bye SC ! read more

We have been been coming to this location for a while since Sara , we prefer to call her Bobo, has moved to this location! I have a large family of 4 boys! She's given all of my boys their first cuts and is normally the one to cut everyone's hair! She's always super patient with them especially the younger ones. Which isn't always easy because she is hard of hearing, there have been other places that play in the shop she's been in and that doesn't help sometimes but she takes her time and always makes sure everyone is happy! She is always happy and friendly! My boys love watching her Hair on the floor tiktoks too! Always giggling! My kids don't like seeing anyone but Bobo! read more

Haircuts aren't cheap and when my husband decided to get a haircut at your salon instead of our usual salon, we didn't expect to have to fix it when we got home..... hair was uneven and lines were lopsided. I've been to this location twice now. The only thing good was both times was there was no wait time. However, my first haircut there, the guy hurried through it so fast I was shocked he was done so quickly. I thought he must be an expert and just did the haircut in a very timely manner and got it done professionally. I got home and realized he missed all kinds of hairs and the cut wasn't even at all. (I'm a man and asked for a simple fade with a bit long on top) The second time I went I tried to avoid him and had a woman but my hair (same style) I went back to work and looked in the mirror and was shocked how bad it was. I went home and used my own clippers and cut my hair myself to avoid being seen in public with this ugly haircut. Even two women at my work were shocked and said it looked horrible. If you need a haircut, do not go to Supercuts on S Virginia. My hair is very long, I almost sit on it. Every January and July I get a couple inches of scraggly ends cut off. That's it. I went in today and showed the guy about how much I wanted cut, "to remove the scraggly ends" He responds with, "There's a lot more scraggly than that!" Ok, maybe there was more that needed trimmed, but as a professional you might have used the word "unhealthy". I can say scraggly, you shouldn't. So he cuts what I asked, all the while chatting, and saying F this, F that. if you're a professional, you don't use that language with customers. He takes a picture of my hair, then proceeds to show me I have "blank spots" and suggested I cut it off to the middle of my back. I immediately told him "that ain't happenin!". (and I don't have "blank spots", thinner maybe, but not blank. it's the way he combed it) Every time I have my hair trimmed, the beauticians remark about how healthy my hair is. Not sure why this guy's opinion was so different. He sprayed 3 different liquids on my hair, that were so strong and perfumey, I was getting a headache. I agreed to let him cut another "inch" off. I knew it needed trimmed a little more, but not to the middle of my back. That would be about 6 inches more, at least. I couldn't wait to get home and shower. Not a good vibe from this place. Pleasantly surprised by this location. Called ahead and was able to get my son in for an appointment 15 minutes later. Kat was amazing with my picky teenager and found a happy medium between what he wanted and what I wanted. Prices are reasonable, location was clean and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes. I had to call in for a same day haircut which is there new policy. They don't take advance appointments. The appointment haircut took about 15 minutes which was great. I usually go to Brittnie and she did a wonderful cut as always. The location is always clean and plenty of parking in front. They are wore mask and offered hand sanitizer at the counters. read more

I have been coming to Supercuts Damonte Ranch for about 3 years and always had a great experience until today, which was one of the worst haircuts I have ever had, which is saying a lot as my hair is very easy for every one to cut, or at least they say that. Rob cut my hair today, and it was not a good experience. He never asked what I wanted and when I told him, he apparently was unable to do it. My hair is short and all I ever want is simple finger and scissor and trim the sides and have it be somewhat even. Well Rob, you failed in all those areas. My husband needed a hair cut badly and being a black man we were turned away from a few other salons as no one knew how to cut his hair. It is really simple actually so we decided to go to supercuts as it was in the same shopping center. he was warmly greeted and told yes they could cut his hair and take him right away . I sometimes come here if I'm in need of an inexpensive roots touch up. DAMN YOU GRAY HAIRS. But this is about something I witnessed a few weeks ago... A gentleman came in with his little boy, maybe about 3 years old, who had Downs Syndrome. Dad sat in the chair while his wiggling boy sat in his lap, obviously not knowing what was going on. The young stylist who had them spent about half an hour with them, never once losing patience or getting irritated as the boy screamed, cried, wailed, wiggled, laughed and giggled. She was so very patient - timing the cutting and snipping of hair between the bouts of hysteria, stepping back for a few seconds as Dad tried to calm and cajole his child. She let Dad control the situation and never tried to rush the experience or made either father or child feel badly about the whole situation. After it was all over, I walked over to the little boy and said, "You were a champ today! You should be very proud of yourself." He grinned and I gave him a high five. The father looked exhausted - I gave him a little pat on the arm to let him know he did good. To the stylist who handled this so well, I just want to thank you for your superb handling of this beautiful child. I know you probably don't make a ton of money at a high volume place like this, but you should know you were amazing. read more

I typically read the reviews for my location of choice and when I see a name mentioned by several people, I give them a chance. I have found many good hair stylists this way. I decided to try Supercuts Damonte Ranch and scheduled an appointment with Brittnie. She did an absolutely excellent job. She knew what I wanted right away and gave me one of the best haircuts I have had in a long time. I highly recommend Brittnie. She is not only a great stylist but a really nice young girl.
