My sister and I dropped in at Supercuts (sans appointments) to finally get Summer haircuts. When we walked in, the stylists were each with customers but greeted us to have a seat since they're almost done with current customers. The wait time was very minimal. My stylist was Marina and my sister's stylist was Justin. We showed a pic on our phones of the haircuts styles we liked. Marina mostly got the style I wanted but my sister's said her haircut wasn't close to the picture she showed Justin but she was still kind of okay with the haircut anyway. Overall, I had a positive experience but my sister's was a below average since her haircut didn't turn out exactly how she would've wanted it. read more

I used the online app to schedule myself in line. When I arrived, I was number one. To my surprise I was told I would need to wait because the people that showed up (without an appointment) had been waiting. Why in the world with they give you an opportunity to put yourself in line on their app, and then not respect it. If I would've known that, I would've just gone over and waited like everybody else. I made an appointment for a wash and blowdry online. I arrived to find the internet was down so no one received a notification. It was around noon and there were two filled chairs and about 4 people waiting. I offered to return and made an appointment for 2pm with the lady at the first chair behind the reception desk. I returned at 1:55 and she had just sat a customer. I reminded her we made an appointment for 2pm. She agreed and asked me to wait 10 minutes. She had just sat the customer and began consulting as I was walking in. I didn't believe there's any way to consult and complete a cut in 10 minutes. I was clearly annoyed and reminded her a second time that SHE made the appointment for me at 2pm. She turned her head and went back to the customer that apparently mattered more. Going in as a walk in, it's always a gamble; however, as a senior lady with gray, coarse, curly hair who wears super short hair, I'll take that chance (Also, my luck has been running pretty good lately). The atmosphere here is relaxed, orderly, and clean. The manager, who was dressed very well, checked me in. He makes an excellent first impression. Amanda was my stylist and did a great job! She listened carefully to what I wanted, and followed my wishes exactly. I especially appreciate her using scissors to cut/layer my hair where it is thinning. That attention to detail says a lot. Overall, for me, my hair looks amazing. I looked online for prices. The advertised price online is $17. After the haircut I was charged $27. Mine is a simple cut, less than 10 minutes. More of a trim. No shampooing or anything like that. Someone should change the prices posted when you google their prices. read more

I got in quickly and didn't need an appointment. Nicole did a very nice, very efficient job. It's very clean inside and they are taking conscientious Covid-19 precautions with no touching of their product, transferring of credit cards between cashier and customer, hand sanitizer at the front and masks required (or they habe them for purchaee for a very reasonable 1 dollar. Nicole rolled wirh my sense of humor and made for an all-around very pleasant experience. I'd recommend highly. read more

So this review is based on my son's haircut. He said his haircut is deserving of five stars. With that said, we are from California where our beloved Governor has closed EVERYTHING down. So we can't even get a basic haircut. We were in Nevada enjoying a little R&R, and I decided to find a place to get My son a haircut. I found super cuts. I didn't realize it was by appointment only. I called the place and the awesome girl told me she would cut my kid's hairs when she was done. We waited outside until the awesome girl brought us in. The rest was history. Im writing this review specifically for a stylist named Banks. Banks if extremely good at his job and truly cares about each client. He puts so much love, attention and detail into his work it's honestly incredible watching him. He washed and cut my daughters hair today and he listened to every single thing I said and executed it perfectly. He had his cards stacked against him because my daughter is very picky and hates her hair brushed and has lost it on more than one occasion during a haircut. As I was watching him he was an artist lost in his craft. Then I noticed my daughter holding back tears and trying not to let anyone see. I asked her when she was done if she didn't like her haircut and she said "no mom I love it but he was so kind and gentle and listened that it made me tear up" Thanks Banks you're a diamond. The gal who cut my hair was great! However the other employee who was cutting hair was horrible. She had a bunch of tattoos which is all I have to describe who I'm talking about, but she was rude to everyone who walked in the door. Almost trying to insist that they didn't have the time to cut their hair. She was even cutting someone's hair talking about another coworker who was there at the time she was talking about her! Terrible. Oh my gosh. We called to make sure they had availability and they did. Great. Made a stop and the person who cut my boyfriends hair was RUDE, pushy, and wanted us out of there because she had another customer waiting. She was impatient and he asked for it to be a bit shorter and she quickly and sloppily cut it shorter and sent him off before he could even say anything after that. She took off his apron and told him the price. Like wow lady. It turned out ok, however, there was hair all over his face and there were still a lot of dead ends on his head. She took absolutely no time or care in our experience. We are not coming back. I had not cut my hair (except for bangs) in a few years and was afraid because I have received so many bad cuts. I went in to this Supercuts and told the woman that I wanted to go shorter about 6 inches and to get rid of most of the dry, split ends cut off and to cut it straight across not to A line it or round the back out and to cut the bangs below the eyebrows so I have enough hair to use a curing Iron to curl the bangs up if I wanted. I think she was afraid to cut to much hair because she only took off a few inches off the back and she rounded it and cut it very uneven. But to make matters worse she cut my bangs way above my eyebrows. I do not have enough bangs at all to even try to use a curling iron if I wanted. Thank goodness my hair usually grows pretty fast so I should have my bangs long enough within a few weeks. I was so disappointed in my cut I will not be going back. read more

I didn't know exactly how I wanted my hair cut and he gave me advice, a fantastic cut, and even taught me about different styles and ways to cut hair. I went to the one one N McCarran, the girl was nice, but didnt really care about what I wanted, I made an appointment online for a shampoo and trim, maybe they couldnt do the shampoo cause of cov cuttys? So, only my second time here. The cut is what you would expect from a supercuts. Nothing special, decent, pretty even. They offer a fair amount of product if you choose to buy some but are not very knowledgeable about the differences between each brand. Shortly after I check in, gal at the front was nice, i can hear a woman yelling in the back. She comes out and is yelling on the phone about this poor teen who wants to get his hair colored. She starts being blatantly rude within ear shot of the customers. Says how she almost had to call the cops on some old lady who was rude to her and now she has to deal with this and there are so many people in here shes so stressed out and doesnt want to deal with it. Look lady if you cant handle it then get a new job, you obviously shouldn't be in a customer service job. Yesterday I went to a different Supercuts location and was treated poorly where they made me cry. Today I came into this plum location and saw a gorgeous stylist. Her name is Darnella, or Maui girl. I said Please Please give me my Sexy back. She totally listened to me and Created an Incredible look that Gave me So Much Confidence and Style. It is without a doubt the BEST haircut I have EVER gotten. I am in Customer Service and I care about Quality. Every Stylist at this Salon has Class. If you want to be Pampered choose this Salon. This establishment is very clean, very professional, and has a variety of top-of-the-line products available to buy. They are very conscientious about client safety and they effectively implement all Covid prevention measures. They also make a point in general to thoroughly sanitize and clean everything between clients in order to ensure that when you sit down to get your hair cut, you know you are sitting in a nice, clean, sanitized area. I cannot say enough good things about the stylist manager, Shay. The last place I had gotten a haircut didn't do a very good job and my hair was pretty wonky, and Shay got it totally fixed and cut exactly the way I wanted it. She is extremely precise and she goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your haircut. She's also very personable, very funny, and extremely knowledgeable about everything there is to know about hair, follicles, etc. It was very refreshing to get a haircut from someone who has taken the time to really learn all the biology and chemistry involved in hair growth and hair care. 1 for this visit... I only give 2 because I had a really good cut last time from a nice lady. This time I was told 15-20 minutes but had enough when it reached 35 minutes - even though I was next in line - and walked out. It would have been another 5-10 minutes at least, and they never said anything to me, apologizing or acknowledging that I'd been there double the wait time. I also walked out because there was an old lady waiting with her husband and they kept speaking to her rudely... Passively aggressively. The lady and husband were being polite -- there was no excuse. All together the environment felt rude and cheap and I didn't trust people with such low class behavior to cut my hair. read more
