Bea is our go-to barber for my boys, and we absolutely adore her. I have twin boys who are autistic, and every single visit, she goes above and beyond. She is incredibly patient, kind, friendly, and truly skilled at what she does. We've been coming to this location since my twins were around 2 years old, and now they're 7.5. In the beginning, haircuts were really tough. They would cry, have tantrums, and couldn't sit still. The staff here has always been so accommodating and patient with us, and we've never had a single bad experience. My boys used to have to sit on my lap just to get through a haircut, but Bea slowly gained their trust. Now they're able to sit on their own. They still move around a bit, but it's such a huge improvement from where we started. It means so much to us. Over time, Bea has become more than just our barber. We always catch up and pick up right where we left off from the last visit. She's truly become part of our safe space, like family. I honestly don't know what we'd do if she ever retires Cesar also cuts my older son's hair, and he's just as wonderful. Always patient, professional, and makes my son feel comfortable. I came to get a haircut. I wasn't afraid to lose inches as I was well aware that my hair was damaged and without any dimension. I cannot rave enough good things about Bea! She listened to what I wanted and I also showed her pictures as reference. She cut my hair EXACTLY how I asked her to and did a beautiful job. My hair is really curly but I came in with very stringy ends, she literally made my curls come back to life! Keep in mind, she is very respectful and professional so she will listen and cut as you ask, in my case I lost inches, but gained a ton of volume! I made an appointment online and when I arrived, since it was too early I did have to wait but I didn't mind. The atmosphere in the salon is very relaxing and quaint, also super clean! I would say for a man's haircut my stylist is pretty good. I really don't like paying 50$ or 60$ for having my hair cut and it doesn't look or take anything special to style my hair. Plus I found out after moving here it seems impossible to schedule a hair appointment. My first one here I had to call personally to schedule which I found weird. I used to only go to high end hair salons, because I thought I would never be caught dead at a Super Cuts or one of those chain salons. That was when I was younger though. I will say if I was a woman with long hair and really wanted it taken care of, I might skip this salon but maybe not? Anyway for 25$ I highly recommend this place, looks like every client that I've seen there leaves with hair the way they want it done. Decided to give supercuts a try because Great Clips was closing. When I arrived at this location there was no one in the waiting area. So I was like great no wait! I checked in with the person up front she had to go and get another person. When he came out he had a disgusted look on his face walked to his station and took a drink from a water bottle. Came to the front spoke with the first lady then proceeded to tell me there would be a twenty minute wait. There was literally no one waiting, So I said there is no one here he said they made their appointment online so we have to wait until they get here or twenty minutes. I'm so thankful for Cesar and his incredible patience. I brought in my nephew, who has autism, and absolutely HATES getting his hair cut. My anxiety level was so high because my nephew has never ever had a good experience getting his hair cut... TIL NOW. Cesar waited until my nephew was ready. Cesar let him see and feel (safely of course) the clippers. He let my nephew hear the buzzing sound & but the clippers against his arm to feel the vibration. After about 10 minutes of talking to my nephew and allowing him to be comfortable and ready, Cesar got started. My nephew was giggling and saying, "that tickles"!!!!! Thank you Cesar! I left with tears in my eyes. Previous salons didn't care when my nephew was throwing a fit or crying, they would hold the top of his head so forcefully and start buzzing away. He would cry the entire time, to the point of gagging. Jashmin said sorry you must have called the wrong store. She said we cant fit you in rite now. Did not offer any time for me to come back. My 3 year old needed a simple cut today so we checked online and there was zero minute. We get to the place some other people had walked in, understandable, we check and wait. I was getting my kiddo pumped up about his cut because he doesn't like hair cuts and noticed that we got skipped. Then we go to use the restroom; which was nice and clean, and come back and two more people get called. Finally I notice the lady whispering to the other employees looking in our direction. After about 30 minute wait from a zero minute check in we get called by Ms. Jada she does a great job with the little guy and we get out of the pretty quick. I was recently in need of a cut so I popped in to see Loan. Online check in worked as advertised. When I arrived I waited no more than 5 minutes. I appreciate the detail and care that Loan takes when cutting my hair. Loan specifically asks about the length as she goes, making any adjustments as requested. I am sure that most have experienced this. A rushed cut only for you to get home to try to fix the imperfections on your own? This is NOT the case with Loan. OMG. I came here to just get a trim btwn my regular haircuts and this was a BAD DECISION. I knew it too b/c the girl asked me to stand up @ the beginning of the cut. this tipped me off but I thought this was just a fluke..maybe her chair didnt go that high. either way I should have cancelled the cut and just walked. He has a crazy cowlick at the top of his head that makes him wake up with some serious bedhead, and she expertly cut it so that it lays flat. Walked in and made an apt for my cousin & myself to get tea tree treatments. We booked it for an hour later so we could go eat and come back. We got here 10 mins early and they took us right away which was great. Salon was clean & My tea tree treatment was nice, It's different than how it's done back home though. The hot towel just gets pressed on your face after treatment instead of letting it sit during the conditioning. And back home they really massaged the shampoo in, here it's more gentle I guess? I went in in the morning on a weekday. They took my name down and I literally waited 30 minutes with no one communicating. No "Sorry for the wait" or "You are next" nothing. After 2 haircuts and cleaning of stations they went to the back knowing I had been waiting and never once said they would get to me next. My husband and son have had their hair cut here several times and we haven't had a problem and we do take into consideration that it is inexpensive. This visit was as unpleasant as stepping in dog poop. When the hairstylist's only intention was to rudely educate me on what number clippers does what, I should've waited for a different stylist but I thought it will be okay...wrong! I made sure to clarify that I wanted 1/2 inch left on the top of my son's head and he (blonde old guy with glasses - Bob?) Used his #4 clippers and started shaving, to my horror my 16 year old son was near bald! To add to this experience, stylist insists he was not rude and insisted that there was 1/2 inch hair length left on my son's head, my picture says otherwise. It's a really bad idea to let a stylist cut your hair if there is a communication problem from the start... in the end another stylist handled my transaction to try to smooth things over. But don't give me an attitude like I should have called your "upscale" salon (sarcasm) she says ya it's a thirty minute wait sundays are busy.
