Ceicel cut my son up juuuuuuuust right and he gets it done quick! I've taken my boy to other barbers who take an hour and it doesn't look nearly as good as my sons did with Ceicel! AAAAAAND, when my son got in the car he smelled soo good from a hair product that Ceicel used!! I was walking by the shop when I saw it was open. I walked in and asked if they had time to get me in. I happened to get the owner (Tommy) who was very nice. I asked for a skin taper with a one on the side and a hard part with some hair off the top. However as seen in the picture I didn't get a hard part and I proceeded to ask for more taken off the top but gave up after the third time. My wife immediately pointed out the razor burn I was left with from him and I didn't even notice. Overall he's nice but would stay away from him and his trimmers. Visited this shop with my nephew and son this past Friday and really liked these guys. They're so welcoming and talk with everyone including those who are in the waiting area. We were walk-ins and the reason they were slightly behind, yet they still took their time on both of the boys cuts. I also appreciated them showing photos to my younger son (who had a complicated way of describing what he wanted haha) and making sure they were clear on what he was going for. They have coloring books and animal crackers to keep the little ones waiting entertained. The place was clean and smelled good. Just overall a great value for the money. read more

I've had two different experiences with this place. The first was a barber named Steele providing me with a very bad haircut. I decided not go to this place anymore for awhile and I decided to give this place another try by calling their phone number which said was out of service then I ended up booking an appointment and when I arrived they didn't honor the booking app they use called booksy by sitting someone else down at the time of my appointment. Tapered Viking is the first and only barbershop I have been to in the Las Vegas area - and I don't need to look any further. The barbershop is clean, the barbers are friendly, there is a steady flow of customers but it's not overcrowded, good music was playing and a I left with a great haircut. This barbershop has magazines, snacks and coffee for waiting customers. My favorite part of the barbershop is their small library - a wonderfully curated shelf of books so you educate yourself while waiting. They absolutely butchered my fiancé's hair. I showed them a photo of what we wanted and right then and there we should have been told that they didn't have the skill set to do it. Instead they completely ruined his hair. It's even worse because we have an event in two weeks and there's nothing that can be done. It's EXTREMELY uneven all over, never mind the fact that he was told what length to keep it and the barber decided to cut an inch lower than that on wet hair. It looks horrible and I feel so bad for even recommending this place to my partner. If you're into not having hair or you only hats then go ahead and head here. I haven't gotten excited about a haircut in a long time. I found Tapered Viking on google and could not be happier! When I entered the shop I was greeted by 'T' and was offered coffee while I waited. My barber was Martin, who is new to the shop and what a great experience! He pays attention to every detail and is great at his craft. He gave me one of the best haircut and beard line up's I've had in over a year. If you are looking for that local barbershop with a chill vibe, this is the spot.
