Came in asked for a fade and line up. Was never asked what type of fade. Hoping I get same cut I did last time. It's always first cut they do good and after that the cut gets worse. Ended up with a mid fade but my last cut was high fade. I know I should've clarified but also barber job to ask these questions. However the mid fade was uneven. Like it was blended without making it even first. Yes they usually ask you is the cut good. But they also usually rush you to get out so they can cut next person. Best Barber Shop in Town and It's Not Up for Debate. I usually go to Great Clips for my haircut because I had a bad experience with a barber years ago. That barber never acknowledged my presence and was very rude towards me. I felt disrespected and never returned to any barber shop after that awful experience. Even though great clips did an adequate job with my hair cut, it never gave me the invigorating feeling that a fresh haircut should. Then I heard from many people about Visionary Barbershop. They told me they have the best barbers in Las Vegas, so I doubted their authenticity since they can't be that good right? I walked in during a busy time and got greeted as soon as I walked in. So far so great, they greeted me as I walked in. Which is a much better experience than that other barbershop. I didn't have an appointment, I expected them to turn me away because It looked too busy. He politely told me that appointments are preferred, but I wouldn't mind waiting. A barber will be available within 30 minutes. Which is pretty reasonable considering I just walked in during the middle of the day. I also believe I had a little bit of luck on my side because I didn't have to wait as long as I originally anticipated. My barber was Ricky, one of the owners of the shop, he was gentle and proficient. You could tell by the way he cuts, he spent years mastering his craft to such a professional level that It felt therapeutic to me. I could've easily fallen asleep right then and there, but Ricky had such a galvanizing effect that we just chatted about sports for a bit. After a certain time, I got to see the final results of the haircut. It was perfect. I didn't even recognize the person in the mirror. I straight up looked like a Filipino Chris Hemsworth. I finally had that invigorated feeling someone should feel after a haircut. I was so grateful for the service provided that I left a generous tip and booked my next appointment on the spot. Our boys ages 4 and 1 saw Randy today 9/18/18. The fact that we were greated as we walked in was very nice. He was great with both of our boys. The haircuts turned out sharp. He was very attentive and made sure I got what I asked for. Our 4 year old said he really liked Randy (Happy Mom!!! Appointments are highly recommended as each barber has regular clients and the wait can be very long. They have great product for sale and carry my sons fave Suavecito. The owner and main barber is polite and always tries to accommodate all. My son has been to the shop a good handful of times. Our very first haircut was not as great as he was not a regular barber there. We did a walk in and took anyone who didnt have a client. Other times we always had an appt. 3 stars are based on the inconsistent barbers in the shop and unreliable. We texted our barber and made an appt, waited for 30 min, did not show up, and then waited for the owner to call and proceeded to wait some more. Stopped here on the way to Utah for my daughters softball tournament. My daughter wanted a C design for her softball team (choppers). We walked in at 9am and got a chair with Randy right away. I've been wanting to try out this barber shop for a little while since I drive by it every day. So glad I finally did. I didn't have an appointment and just walked in hoping for the best. My timing was good and they were able to get in almost immediately. A guy who came in right after me got told that they were booked up the rest of the day, so I really count myself lucky. Next time, I'll definitely make an appointment first. But, about the cut. I told the barber (Stevie) that I wanted a cut and a beard trim. He did a fantastic job on the cut, and when it came to the beard trim, it was my first time having a straight-razor shave, and it was glorious. I thought the price for the cut/shave was more than fair. Especially considering the amount of time and care that he spent. I will definitely be a regular from this point forward! read more

I gotta say, this shop is pretty sick, and it has all to do with their barbers. Environment: I'm assuming this barbershop is pretty sports themed because of the sports team flags on the wall and the tv screens playing baseball. The mood is very chill and everyone is friendly. The shop itself is also very large and spacious and has a billiard table to keep you busy. Service: now this is where they really got me. First my appointment was super late and I ended up being the last person to leave. My barber Juan though, really took his time and patiently worked on my hair which I truly appreciated. He might look young, but he has some skills. I also came in hating my hair, and felt really happy and confident leaving. On top of that, I noticed other customers' hair, and they all looked pretty amazing. So, I really think that their percent of good cuts is high and you won't have to worry about leaving looking bad. So, Whether you are a boy or a girl in need of a haircut or you really need and appreciate a good fade, this spot is great. Also the price is extremely fair, $21 for a haircut, especially with the amount of care and attention they put in every customer. read more
