Do not recommend this place, took my 8 yr old here and it was not busy at all we were the only one there. I didn't get the name of the stylist, she washed and cut my daughter's hair, I'd asked that she dry her hair more cause it's 50 degrees outside. AVOID this place!!! Walked in with my cousin for a wash and styling (blow dry). When I walked in they quoted my cousin and I, $6 for wash and $25 to blow dry it. At the end when it was time to pay they were charging me $41!!! I told them that they had all quoted us $25 just to simply blow dry our hair. I then went to ask my cousin what they had quoted her and she said $25 for blow dry and $6 for wash. As I was talking to my cousin all 3 hair stylist jumped and and started saying no we quoted $35 for blow dry. As I was paying this OVERPRICE service they still asked if I wanted to tip. I'm sorry but $41 seems a lot just for a simple wash and blow dry. They said it's because we had long hair! Keep in mind we have shoulder length hair! Has some good stylist. However, I had to dock 3 stars because they are not allergen sensitive. I've been going to this location for years and to my surprise when I opened the door fumes of cleaning supplies automatically irritated my Entire respiratory system. Going to the restroom was even worse! highly concentrated synthetically perfumed hand soap, general surface pine cleaner (possibly high in amonia), and active Plug In! It has left me with a scratchy irritated throat, nose, and chest in conjunction to a big headache. Had to wait as other places i went to earlier where booked and busy as well. Horrible service. I check in online for a 6pm appointment. Get there and the girl takes me at 625pm asks if I want a shampoo and cut. I reply yes and my hair straightened. She responds and says I'm the manager and I only have one stylist so I won't be able to straighten your hair, but I can shampoo and cut. Excuse me that sounds like a you problem not a customer problem. Do you want my money or not! You have five more people waiting for a cut after me you really think you are going to get out at 7? I will never go back to this place!!! I have never been humiliated in my life like I did !!!! I went yesterday because my 6 year old daughter needed a trim and I took my baby with me because I had called ahead of time and they told me they would have a stylist available as soon as I came in. While my daughter was getting her hair cut, my little one was walking around and i was supervising and making sure she didn't touch or get anything. The stylist Joanna so rude told me to make sure the baby didn't touch the product, and really got upset because I was already watching her and shes just a baby. I felt shamed-mom, she yelled it out in front of everyone that was there. Then another stylist opens the door knowing that I had my 1 year old and I asked her if we can close the door because didn't want her to run outside and get hit by a car. She told me she didn't care and that I should hold her. Basically told me to tie her down like a animal. NEVER AGAIN COME BACK AGAIN!!!! I will be also contacting corporate office. Lady with very short blonde hair, kinda heavy set cut my son's hair and was very very rude. I left the salon very upset and disappointed. She was threatening to stop midway and was upset because he was moving. He's 3 years old and I know kids can be tough, but cutting kids hair is part of your job! I love this place! I've been coming here for about four or five years and have always had courteous and professional service. I've had my haircut by all of the stylists and have never had a bad haircut. Michelle, aka Mikah, the receptionist is kind and courteous and entertaining. I love all the stylists: Celia, Johanna, Jovania, Keisy, Lulu, Martha, Diana and Blanca. They always reconfirm my choice of style/cut before they start and make sure I am happy with the cut when done. I have short hair and the cut is simple, but I never feel rushed or like a number. They greet me by name when I walk in and I feel like a celebrity, especially when there's other people waiting and wondering why all the stylists are so happy to see me when I walk in :-) I used to hate trying new stylists or salons because I am very picky about my haircuts and have had bad experiences at other salons in the past. I was unsure about where to go get a haircut especially because I was going to make a drastic change. My hair has always been long, I was so tired of it . After seeing the reviews here I decided to give it a try and boy am I happy I did. I made my appointment online for 1pm and as soon as I got there I was attended by Noemi. I told her I wanted to donate my hair and she even suggested me different organizations where I can donate it to. I told her I wanted a long bob and showed her some pics of what I wanted I was so happy with Noemi she exceeded my expectations I love my long bob it was exactly what I wanted and more. This place is the best. I have been coming here for years. Have brought all three of my children as well. Never had any issues with my hair being cut wrong nor my kids. My boys would tell them what number on the cut and they would get it done. I really like the phone ahead for a hair cut as well. I will usually call from home and then find out the time they say to arrive and then head out. Blanca is my stylist and she always knows how I want my hair done. The other girls there are just as great. Martha cuts many of my friends and colleagues hair and never a complaint. All the stylists are knowledgeable and if there is a concern, it's addressed. I've tried this place a few times and I regretted each visit. First time I asked for layers it looked more like a mullet. Second time I asked for finger waves but they said my hair was too long so they would do an updo instead. Somehow instead of an updo I ended up looking like Snooki. The last time I went I wanted a trim and bangs but they told me they don't style hair. I have no idea what else to say about this place. Every time I went it was with someone different with time in between so I thought it would get better but then I was outright refused service. Even when I didn't like my cuts I still tipped because I understand tips are most of their earnings. I regret ever coming here and giving them my money. I have been coming here for a couple years now. I only stop in on the weekend, I try and arrive when they first open to avoid a long wait time. If not, and I arrive later on a Saturday or Sunday, there could be no one sitting in there waiting, and you will still wait 30 min. to an hour. This is due to their call ahead policy. They do not make appts, but you can call, find out approx. wait time and show up in 30 min and get right in. The problem is, the staff doesn't necessarily inform you of this wait unless you ask. My favorite haircutter Nora's last day is August 5th, so I will be experimenting with others there after. read more
