We have eaten from here twice now - once via delivery and once in house - and are planning to order from them again before we leave Paris. This place is wonderful. We got the chance to speak to Simon when we were there - I'm not sure if he's the owner or co-owner or not, but it sounded like he is. He told us about the business and his big ambitions to franchise, and we somewhat selfishly hope he accomplishes all he hopes for so we can see this name in America!
The food is all 100% vegan and 100% comfort food, and it is GOOD. The 1st night we ordered a double cheeseburger and a kebab, along w fries. The kebab is what they're known for but honestly, it's the cheeseburger that blew us away. When we went in person, my husband and I both ordered the cheeseburger. Guys, it's so good. Dripping with "American sauce" (husband says it tastes just like the special sauce on a big mac), full of onions, pickles, and tomato. And of course, the patty, made mainly of TVP. With homemade "fauxmage." (Will be calling all vegan cheese this from now on).
The fries are thick cut, natural, fried fresh, and served (generously, believe me) with whatever sauce you like. I recommend the Blanche sauce - even if you don't normally care for mayo (I don't), it's full of garlic and herb flavor. Very sharp and delicious.
Prices are good, considering the location and amount and quality of food you get. We paid 21 euros for 2 combos that included the burgers, fries, and whatever drink you like (even beer! Or their in-house lemonade or cola).
Please support this place. The food is amazing, the service is great - and fast, and this is a small business with a lot of heart and some really good goals. read more
