They treated her like a queen!!!!

It;s been a couple of years, but I still must comment about how special our evening was. They greeted us in the most remarkable way, sat us at the best seat in the house, and from beginning to end, it was exactly what you would expect from a Michelin rated restaurant! I can say, without hesitation, that the $2,000 (with tip) we spent was 100% well worth it. I've travelled the world over my career and this was the most special restaurant moment I've ever experienced! I don't think everyone needs to spend $2k, but we had the full experience, including a great pairing of wines. An extra plus was how fun the staff was. They were "experts" when we needed great service, and "fun" when we needed that. I can't wait to go back sometime. And, I hope this post inspires others to experience what we experienced! Yes, pricey... but it will remain my single favorite restaurant experience of my life! Which makes the investment seem really small! :) Enjoy life!

This place is like a dream. The food and service is absolutely out of this world, it is crazy that restaurants this good even exists!

Le Cinq is a stunning space--an elegant, old-world dining room that feels like stepping into another era of Parisian luxury. Service improved over time, but the overall experience lacked the personal touch and precision I expected. I had noted pescatarian on my reservation (I now just avoid pork), and when I saw a ham-based dish on the menu, I was surprised. It wasn't offered, just listed, but the lack of acknowledgment--and the response when I pointed it out--showed a real miss in attention to detail. The food was uneven. A bitter starter, a bland mushroom tart, and an underwhelming caviar bite set a shaky tone. Gnocchi that followed was gummy and flavorless--possibly overworked or left to sit. A few dishes did shine. The asparagus course was beautifully done--earthy and tender, paired with a delicate cream, a touch of sweetness, and a crunchy topping. The play of hot and cold added a layer of refinement and creativity. The duck foie gras they brought was also beautifully executed, and my steak (subbed in for the ham) was lovely--rich, with Asian flavors and edible flowers. My partner's truffle spaghetti, though, was uninspired and overwhelmed by the sauce. Dessert was where the magic finally appeared: a mango-passion fruit tart, candied kumquats and, a true standout, a glazed caramel rhubarb pastry with grapefruit. They also have a whimsical candy bar with an assortment of chocolates and sweets. It was everything a dessert should be and more. But by then, it was too late. For the reputation and the reviews, I expected to be wowed throughout. C'est vraiment dommage.

The dinner at this 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, French gastronomic cuisine located at Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, France is worth the trip and €€€€! This place looks very chic, well decorated with excellent service! Dress elegantly (no shorts, sportswear), jacket remains obligatory for gentlemen (restaurant will provide you with one for the dinner if you come without). The food is very delicious and creatively plated! We tried THE EPICUREAN ESCAPE MENU (2023) by Christian Le Squer. Everything was delicious. By the end of the dinner there is a little surprise for the couple/ladies :)

Fantastic experience. The level of service is astonishing. They provided a cushioned ottoman for my wife's bag to sit on! The dining room is beautiful. We had the tasting menu. The food is amazing as expected. But what I love is the entire experience. The servers are wonderful, there are dozens of lovely things that occur throughout the meal that just makes your night. I won't list it all because then it ruins it. If you are into Michelin star restaurants this one should be on your list. SOME photos to follow Thanks!

Of all the Michelin restaurants we dined around the world, I will be honest and say the service at Le Cinq was by far, the best. The hospitality we were given was above and beyond. The ambiance was perfect, it was incredibly romantic. What the staff did for us and treated us was just a magical experience. As for the food, everything was incredibly delicious. The spaghetti was one of the most creative and tasty things we had. Just when you thought the meal stopped, there were more little bites to have. Just an amazing experience all around.

First, be prepared to eat. Second, be prepared for 2-4 hours of fine dining. We tried most things on the menu. Everything was 5 out of 5 stars with every attention to detail. While I didn't love everything, most everything I didn't like my wife loved. Something for everyone. The deserts were delicious. We tried every one of them. After deserts came more deserts (save a little room) as I did not and had to take it home. Made for a good late night snack. Highly recommended. We are light and spent $700 overall so it's def a $$$$ on the scale. Worth it.

Forgot to make a review, but what I could remember.. everything was amazing! Paris has soo many Michelin restaurants, but I wanted something romantic to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival, you get the star treatment. They even have a seat for your bag. There were so many dishes. The pigeon was amazing! If you love desserts, be prepared for many dessert dishes. I'd recommend for anyone visiting.

One of our favorite places for dinner @lecinqparis where the food is amazing and the wine list is insane. One of the best #amusebouche is this cheese waffle and pairs perfectly with #champagne . The lobster dish came in a big cabbage and was definitely redefined what a #lobster course is. Of course, we had the Raveneau. It's so hard to find in the US and it's such a deal to drink it here. The food is innovative and the staff is amazing. Thank you for making our trip and night so special. #raveneau #grandcru @lecinqparis #parisfood #pariseats #parisrestaurant #michelinstar #3michelinstars #foodie #foodstagram #foodiesofinstagram #willtravelforfood #livingmybestlife #carpediem

This is the best restaurant in the world, don't come here unless you're really about that life. Come here for the multiple Michelin stars and all the treats they surprise you with along the way that you didn't order and couldn't if you wanted to because some of it is unclear what it's even made of but will change your life. Come here for the steak that looks like a garden and definitely for the chocolate tray with nougat. Always and i do mean always get the signature spaghetti box! Don't order from the cheese tray unless they you really know what's up for real and don't ask any questions about the butter. This is always a 4 figure dinner so expect that. Americans.. Don't come here in your gallery department tee shirt you're embarrassing all of us and they will put a coat on you.

The favorite part of our Europe trip was our dining experience here. Best meal, hands down. We walk into the stunning Four Seasons George V into this tastefully decorated place. We were greeted warmly and seated with a view of the breathtakingly-beautiful floral gardens area. The servers pulled out our chairs and gave us a small table for my handbag. Every detail was well thought out. Different shaped plates and utensils to make everything looks more esthetically appealing and appetizing. We chose to dine off the tasting menu. I'm vegetarian, and was told the chef would whip up a menu for me on the day of. I was a bit skeptical as to what could possibly be done to wow me with vegetables? To my delight, he worked some magic that made every bite so memorable I'm still thinking about it many months later. The presentation of each dish was beautiful. The servers opened each dish on the count of three with an arm behind their back. It was formal and pleasant. The courses kept coming, multiple desserts to try. We were here for a bit over 3 hours, feeling full to the brim and very happy that we chose to came here. As an added touch the waiter gave my date a rose to present me with. He took a photo for us and printed it as a gift to take home along with a goody bag of chocolates and baked treats for the next day! You leave this place wanting to hug everyone that made your experience so great, shed a happy tear over your chef's culinary art, and planning to come back as soon as you possibly can!

    First amuse bouche

Let me start by saying, the service was absolutely incredible. There truly could not have been better wait staff, sommeliers, or attendants throughout. The wine selection was incredible and the sommelier did a fantastic job honoring our taste, value, and price point with quality. But - and this is as a New Yorker with her fair share of Michelin Star meals - this fell way flat for such an incredible price point. From the beet-based amuse bouche, to the room temperature sea bass, to the flan-consistency gnocchi, we just really were underwhelmed. The "spaghetti" (it's really a pasta-based entree filled with cheese and all things wonderful) is by far the best item on the menu, and the lamb was average at best. But everything else left us so dissatisfied that we couldn't bear staying for dessert or a digestif. One of the complementary desserts from the trio tasted like a tomato. I've never left a restaurant so wishing to appease the waitstaff because they truly were exceptional but the food was certainly not worth three Michelin stars or a four figure price tag. I'd recommend dining elsewhere for better bang for your buck, although the ambience is incredible.

The best Michelin star restaurant I have been to. We booked well in advance and were surprised to learn that three of the restaurants at the Four Seasons hold Michelin stars -- le Cinq has 3 and they are well deserved. Our table was comfortable and we selected a few dishes from the menu. The service was of course extremely attentive and the sommelier was very knowledgeable about the wine list. My only complaint was that the gluten free bread was disgusting -- hard and stale and not acceptable to serve with the prices we paid. This will be on our list every time we come back to Paris!

    The cheese service is amazing

The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. We found Le P'tit and when we inquired if they would serve us they said yes if we ordered immediately. It was a few minutes after ten. We ordered at the bar then were seated at our tables. The waitstaff were incredibly nice. They brought whatever we needed including ketchup which, despite being American, we didn't want or need. :) The food was delicious. I had an almost perfect poached egg -just a little too cooked. They had a fair amount of vegetarian options for the person in our party to get a decent meal: eggs, salad and beignets de mozzarella, which I hate to burst your bubble in advance, is a very French and more appealing way to say Mozzarella sticks. They were still good for the record. Perhaps everyone should call them that and aim for that level of taste. Fried just right and a fair amount of cheese. I ordered the duck legs-no complaints there. It was tender and the side of potatoes weren't the top of my list for the evening but there was more than enough of them to share with others. The chocolate fondant was voted best dessert by the table. It won no contest. I'm glad we stopped in for an authentic food experience.
