The service was incredible and the decor is unmatched. The 3 Michelin stars are tasted in every bite, trust me. My favorite part was the strawberry pancake dessert and the lamb! They had a cheese and dessert cart at the end too. We had a reservation after and as the staff knew they made sure we were taken care of and could leave on time.

Le Cinq is the three star Michelin restaurant inside the George V Hotel in Paris. Their website describes as: 'A Paris destination in its own right, Le Cinq by Christian Le Squer is synonymous with the apex of French modern and elegant cuisine, paired with the rarest wines selected by award-winning Head Sommelier Eric Beaumard. Its three Michelin stars are a reflection of the gastronomic experience of a lifetime - in one of the city's most majestic dining rooms.' In agreement with the Four Seasons description of Le Cinq, and as a hotel guest, reservations to dine was imperative. The ten course tasting menu was exquisite; plating presentation was beautiful and superlative. Among the highlights are the amuse bouche, pain et beurre, caviar cones, the seabass with ossetra caviar in buttermilk, Dublin bay prawns, foie gras, decadent chocolat blanc and of course the regional fromagé!! Not including the recommended wine pairings menu was probably a regrettable choice but keeping my mind sharply focus for work the following morning was my reasoning to graciously decline. Service was cordial and exemplary... it's staff of hommes were très beau. Dining at a three Michelin star restaurant Le Cinq was an extraordinary indulgence at a very elegant hotel which earns the iconic 'V' = Five star sensory experience. When asked, our…read morelovely, waitperson, Evian suggested we order the Crispy Shichimi, which is a spinach-filled roll with shichimi pepper, sesame sauce, black sesame and pickled red onion artfully strewn atop. When I asked why, she said, "They're crunchy." My eyes lit up. As a vegan I crave crunchy food because so much plant-based food is soft. Evian was right! This roll had texture. It was beautifully presented in eight pieces. Upon the first yummy bite it was apparent this was cooking at another level. The fry was perfectly light and clean. Each bite substantial. The taste memorable. I have never had a sushi roll like it and now I want to live inside the restaurant so I can have it forever. We also got five pieces of the yummy Seitan Crispy, which comes with a lovely Doenjang sauce, that is thick and flavorful. These unique, protein boosts are also cleanly fried, delectable and filling. Lastly, my husband got the small BBQ Donburi which was a bowl of rice, a flavorful bbq soy protein, and some mesclum. He loved it. We sat outside on the lovely side street and chatted with Evian who made our dinner a memorable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish I could bring it back to America. Whether you're visiting for lunch, dinner, or simply a glass of wine, the atmosphere is the real star. Went here with the hubs and we had such a fun day. The street was busy and the service was polished and professional, but a little distracted (never got our French onion soup) striking that uniquely Parisian balance of attentive without being intrusive. The food was presented and executed with the confidence expected from such a legendary address. Yes, there are quieter and more intimate restaurants in Paris, but that's not why you come to L'Avenue. You come for the glamour, the buzz, the fashion crowd, and the feeling that you're at the center of one of the world's most stylish cities. An iconic Paris destination that is absolutely worth experiencing at least once. That being said, we will be back! The French are lovely people in a city that is most lovely. This location is beyond compare. So am I angry? Not at all! If they can make a few extra bucks off Americans, I don't blame them. Why not? This restaurant could not exist in Chicago. Why? Because the waitresses here are of supermodel quality. No ugly Tubby's with bad dye jobs. The food? Mediocre. A Smashburger is not a Smashburger here. They don't have the concept down at all. But again: location, location, location. Enjoy the scenery!

It was nice to be able to go to a restaurant where she could be sure to find something vegan to eat. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived shortly after opening time that evening, but about an hour later it had filled up considerably. You won't find "traditional" French food here, as the menu featured vegan takes on dishes such as tacos and Philly cheesesteaks. However, the food was pretty hearty and comforting, and it had clearly been prepared with care and health in mind. I ordered the tacos, which came as a trio, each with a different vegan filling (Impossible burger, sweet potatoes, and black beans). I wouldn't say it had the flavors/spice of Mexican food that I'm used to from the States, but it was tasty and filling. I also got a side of plantains, which was a very generous portion; I wound up not being able to finish them. My friend got the Philly "cheesesteak" with a side of fries and really enjoyed it. For dessert, we got the cheese sampler, which came with some grain/seed crackers and a few grapes. The cheese sampler was probably more savory than we expected for dessert, so if you've got a sweet tooth I'd go for one of the other options. However, we really liked the "cheeses," as they were all very flavorful and had a nice spreadable texture. The restaurant was very cute and cozy. It's a small space, so the tables are pretty close together, but that's normal for a big city anyway. I really liked the décor, and the service was quick and friendly. The woman working at the restaurant spoke decent English, and there were English menus as well. I also felt the prices were pretty reasonable for Paris, and given the quantity and quality of the food. The restaurant is conveniently located a short walk from the Paris Saint-Lazare train station. Definitely worth a visit if you'd like a nice vegan meal in a Parisian restaurant with a warm atmosphere.

Hacina takes pride in providing dishes that are hearty, wholesome, and, above all, accessible. No 20 euro rice balls here -- you're going to leave nourished and satisfied. See, unlike some vegan restaurants, Yem'a is anything but pretentious. Cantine-style and communal, you bus your own table, and sit real-cozy-like next to your neighbor in the small eating area in the back of the restaurant. And guess what? It's gluten-free, too. So suddenly planning next week's luncheon with your work team just got that much easier. (Because we know your project manager Gustave has celiac something fierce.) The carrot and raisin curry is A-MAZ-ing, as is the quinoa tagine, the lentil purée, and heck, everything really. (Make sure you try the chick pea bake!)
