Birria Tacos Mandarin Jarrito

Food was seasoned and prepared well! Hottest (red) sauce is pretty spicy, might try small bit on chip first. Service was great, no complaints. I enjoyed the music they had playing.

Super tacos is my go to for street tacos in Indianapolis! The tacos are always incredible and a good size for $4 a piece. I would recommend super tacos to anyone in Indy! They also have a great atmosphere and incredible service.

Loaded fries special with chorizo.

Solid food and service. We dined in and I had a taco and their loaded fries special. If you're dining in, you can grab a menu from the front and sit for table service. If you're getting carryout, you order at the counter. The menu isn't completely up to date, so you may want to look at their electronic menu board, too. I was excited about the fries special, but it was dry. Unseasoned fries topped with your choice of meat (we chose chorizo) and a little bit of crema. There are also cut up hot dogs wrapped in tortillas and deep fried. It was tasty (after adding salt and lime juice), but really dry. And I assumed there would be cheese, but there wasn't. They provide four hot sauces when you order tacos, along with fresh cucumbers, radish slices, and limes. I can handle about a medium heat, and unfortunately ALL four hot sauces were way too hot for me to eat.

I've been a few times. But today, I picked up tacos for someone else. It was a hit. The wait time was longer today than usual. They have a vegetarian taco. It's a small, intimate restaurant. I've never dined in, just to go orders. They usually have a taco special during the week.

Tacos de Asada (steak) and Pastor (pork) and Pollo (shredded chicken)

I've driven past Super Tacos on Michigan Rd. while commuting on 421 and finally decided to give them a try. With a small window of time between commitments, I opted for takeout. I decided to sample three of their many taco options: steak, shredded chicken, and pork. All three tacos were jam-packed with meat and topped with cilantro and onions. I added some fresh cheese as well. The order also came with a red spicy salsa, a green medium salsa, and a bag of radishes and juicy limes. After just two tacos, I was quite full due to the generous amount of meat in each one. It's worth noting that there's limited space for dine-in, so keep that in mind. I observed the dine-in guests receiving a flight of four salsas and chips. I look forward to returning to try other items!

Ordered 2 steak tacos to go and picked out the sale fruit ( 2 days old). For $3 fruit was decent. Most of the mango was no good next day. The tacos were good but I didn't realize they didn't have the other toppings (Supreme). Also if you order there they give you 4 different sauces. One of the reasons I wanted to try them. Well when you get it to go you only get 1. Anyway they were filling and good.

This place is amazing. It's a small restaurant, but don't let the size fool ya. My hubby had a chicken burrito w/fries, and I had the super taco and taco alambre (w-steak). The food was so fresh and delicious. I hate that this place is on the opposite side of town from My residence. That could be a good thing, lol. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. Everyone followed the Covid guidelines and the restaurant was sparkling clean. I gave 4 stars due to the long wait time. There was only one family ahead of us and we waited for over 45 mins for our food. Other than the wait time, everything else was superb.

I wanted to stop by for tacos because I had heard good things but when we stopped they had some awesome lunch specials that we could not resist. The restaurant is in a little strip mall that caters to Latin American businesses. The dining room is small but tidy. Daily specials are listed on a board. A friendly server took our order and I opted for the lunch fajitas for $7.99. They brought us out a small tray of four different sauces to try. The meals came out fairly quickly - piping hot and look delicious. My lunch came with rice and beans. The mix of chicken and fried peppers with onions. Portions were generous for lunch - I couldn't finish. My meal was delicious. They had a sign up featuring dollar tacos on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I can't stop thinking about going back for those. The table next to us had the tacos and they looked delicious. There is parking in a shared lot. Limited tables inside (maybe 10) but they do a robust carry out service too. I can't wait to return. Hopefully soon.

This place has really great food and quick service. There are lots of options and everything tastes amazing. One of the most authentic and delicious places I've been in Indy!

This is the place to go for real authentic street-style tacos (and tortas). Prices are about what you would expect and the taco sauces are made in house and are spicy.

Homemade salsa flight with chorizo, pastor, Hawaiian, and chicharron tacos.

I had dri en by this place dozens of times over the past few years and never stopped and now I wish I had stopped in more often! 4 stars because when. I walked in there was no one e there to greet me and I stood there for about a minute before anyone came out from the back. The food, however, was dynamite! Very soon after order my tacos the waitress brought out salsa flight with a small plate of cucumbers, radish, and limes. The sauces were fresh made and full of spice and flavor and they accompanied the tacos magnificently! I had 1 chorizo, 1 chicharron, 1 Hawaii, and 1 pastor taco. All of then were packed full of meat and a good splash of onions and cilantro. They came out in about 5 mins, hot and packed full of flavor. I highly recommend this taco joint!

It's a 5 star place. Tucked in a strip mall , its a small hidden gem with authentic Mexican cuisine.Pleasecdon't expect fancy ambiance or fine dining service . Taco comes with three different salsa 'Sauce and they are from mild to really hot. Tortas and Sope are less known Mexican food but they serve them. They also have Mexican drink and beers. You can easily find parking.

Very good Quesabirria tacos! They came with a really nice assortment of salsas and cucumbers and radishes. The creamy green salsa was a favorite. Very fresh cups of fruit for dessert!

Even with the rush, I was able to snag a seat quite quickly. I was so impressed by how efficiently the staff cleared and prepared my table; it's those little touches of attentiveness that really make a difference. I decided to keep things classic and ordered the Asada Tacos. The service was remarkably swift my order arrived in under ten minutes, which is exactly the kind of efficiency I adore. While the initial presentation was a bit more understated than I anticipated, the flavor was a total 8/10 triumph! The staff was also incredibly accommodating when it came to my preferences; they brought over a lovely selection of chips and sauces, but were perfectly gracious when I mentioned I prefer to avoid the heat. These are truly some of the best tacos I've had the pleasure of trying lately. I will most certainly be a regular here!

I don't know how else to explain it. The queso is delicious. They have a salsa bar, and I'm not joking when I say there are a lot of delicious homemade salsas on the salsa bar. You have to buy a basket of chips, but it's very inexpensive and so worth it for the salsa bar! Lastly, the Al pastor is the bomb. We opted for the 2 can dine for 20$ deal. They don't normally have street tacos so wanted to give them a try. The steak was chopped up which was nice and had lots of flavor The pork was absolutely delicious and juicy The shredded beef was ok but lacked flavor and was greasy Rice was terrible and lacked flavor Bean were amazing as usual The tacos needed more onion and cilantro Keep in mind they are small and could use a bit more meat on them In addition we ordered the green chili queso and chips. The queso had a nice bit of heat to it and was creamy and had guacamole in it We also shared the taco of the month which is the Tokyo Drift. It was hands down the best taco they have. As we moved to the bar to wait for our food, the bartender informed us that he had put away the rim device to salt our glasses. We had already paid, so what were we to do. We said, "ok." Then we questioned what time they closed. We doubled checked, 9:30. It was only 8:30. I don't prefer a margarita without salt but felt stuck. Also, it wasn't as if we were the last ones to come in. I counted at least 6 parties that came in after us. The chorizo queso was excellent. The tacos were decent. However, while it may seem like a small thing, the lack of salt on the rim of my $12 margarita really sunk this place for me. I've never bartended, but I don't feel like it's a lot of work to salt a rim. Even if the stuff was put away (an hour early).

The restaurant is sleek and has a cool vibe, but we immediately realized it was not going to be what we thought of when we saw "street tacos" mentioned during Google search. It's more of a metropolitan American Soul fusion place, with a heavy emphasis on loaded, uniquely flavored tacos instead of traditional Mexicana. The server was wonderful in explaining their menu and gave multiple recommendations, which I went with all of her great suggestions once I told her what I was craving. My husband didn't enjoy his appetizer, saying it tasted too sweet instead of savory for him, but the server was great at being aware of our plates and took the appetizer off our bill when she noticed he wasn't eating it without us even mentioning it. I got three different tacos, and the only one I didn't enjoy was due to the Mac n cheese that was stuffed in it. It just didn't taste or feel right having a taco with macaroni that was pushed in so densely that it became a sponge. The other two were great! My husband gave his burrito a 3/5, as he felt it was too much one note. Overall, don't come here if you're looking for upscale Mexicana, but instead want to enjoy interesting fusion flavors and fun cocktails. Great place for a group outing or celebration!

I don't usually shop at a Mexican grocery unless I am looking for cotija cheese for making elote. However, I entered the grocery because the sign in front of the restaurant entrance said it was closed. I clearly saw people working at the food counter and a customer standing there, so I went through the grocery to see what was going on. Apparently, nobody had removed the sign and left a "caution" cone blocking the door. Anyway, after the weird start, I enjoyed my experience. The colorful dining room has lots of festival streamers hanging from the ceiling and loud Mexican music playing. (Note that the grocery has an equally loud sound system playing something completely different so you get a weird stereo effect that is hard to tune out.) The dining booths go about half way back into the restaurant on both sides. Beyond the left side is a cooking area with a large menu posted over the top. Even though there is a counter at the cooking area, you don't order there. Behind you on the right near the back of the restaurant is a smaller counter with a cash register and a menu booklet that you order from. Once you place your order and pay, you wait and they will bring it out to you. Note that any beverages are sold in bottle form and are self-serve from the cooler next to the order counter. The wait was fairly short considering they prepare the entrees to order. I went with a couple tacos (with the cilantro and white onion) and ordered rice and beans. Apparently the cashier had a little trouble understanding me when I ordered the Asada and Pollo tacos. I was brought out the Asada and Lomo instead. (I was the only customer at the time.) But, instead of sending it back, I like pork loin as well as chicken, so I simply added some green sauce (mild) and a few drops of red (supposed to be hot, but I didn't think it was that hot.) The tacos were excellent. They were served on double layered corn tortillas. I usually prefer flour, but wasn't given an option here. These were the best tasting corn tortilla shells I've had. And the ingredients inside were delicious with the added items being colorfully fresh. The side of beans and rice were forgettable. Not bad, just lacking much texture and flavor. Very bland and not much other than filler when compared to the robust flavor of the tacos. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pretty clean looking, so given the high quality of flavor, I would recommend stopping by to quench your Mexican food cravings. Review #2698

I knew that I liked the food, and I have previously enjoyed the atmosphere at their Carmel location, so I felt that it was a safe choice. I wasn't thrilled about that, at first, but several larger groups were seated in the same area near the entrance. The booth was spacious and comfortable, and the decor is very bright and vibrant. I ordered the Marg of the Month for May, which was the Bee Sting Margarita. It is made with jalapeno honey and lots of slices of fresh jalapeno. Between those aspects and the bite of the tequila...I quickly understood why it was given that name! If you like a spicy marg, I would definitely suggest! I also ordered the Chips & Salsa Flight for the table. I chose the Roasted Red and Chile de Arbol salsas, along with the guac and queso. I loved all of the dips...except the chile de arbol. It was just spicy...and nothing else. No flavor other than hot. LOL For our entrees, I ordered the Steak Fajitas. I probably could've fed the entire family with the portion that I received. It's Tuesday and I'm still working on it! The steak, peppers and onions were flavorful and tender and it came with all of the pertinent toppings (shredded cheese, lettuce, and pico de gallo). I also requested sour cream on the side. It was served with a side of beans and rice as well.
