I had heard about their taco special which I'm still unsure of whether or not it's only on Wednesdays BUT it was so worth the $11 total I spent. The tacos (your choice of protein) were $1.49 each. I was honestly surprised that they had plenty of onions,cilantro, two different sauces & a baggie of radishes & limes for that price. I will say, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the shredded chicken although clearly seasoned (color wise) with sazon, it was dried completely out with only a hint of flavor. I added the green sauce on the chicken ones and it gave it a little umph but then I tasted the amazing seasoning in the rice and beans & WOW. I put a little of both on the chicken tacos and that was just what they needed. All in all the tacos were an 8/10 and the rice+beans were 10/10. The rice was cooked perfectly & the best compliment to the soupy beans. Parking: TERRIBLY positioned & shared lot, spots are tight & all the businesses stay with a crowd. Service: the cashier wasn't unpleasant BUT I had every intention on sitting down and eating inside (they have about 8 tables and 4 small booths) but she assumed I wanted it to-go without asking me as she asked the family of Spanish/hispanic/latino/a heritage before AND after me. In the moment I didn't feel slighted because I think I was just so tired & hangry but it definitely is memorable now that I'm writing the review a day later. I could have very well corrected her and said I wanted to dine in but I'm not one to force it when I feel unwanted or unwelcomed . This by no means discredits the food, it was wonderful & so was the price. I wouldn't go as far as to say I'll never be back because it would be a lie - what I WILL do moving forward is speak up for myself as it could have been done unintentionally.
The shrimp tacos are amazing!! I have eaten tacos all over the US and these are THE very best!!

Super tacos is my go to for street tacos in Indianapolis! The tacos are always incredible and a good size for $4 a piece. I would recommend super tacos to anyone in Indy! They also have a great atmosphere and incredible service.
Solid food and service. We dined in and I had a taco and their loaded fries special. If you're dining in, you can grab a menu from the front and sit for table service. If you're getting carryout, you order at the counter. The menu isn't completely up to date, so you may want to look at their electronic menu board, too. I was excited about the fries special, but it was dry. Unseasoned fries topped with your choice of meat (we chose chorizo) and a little bit of crema. There are also cut up hot dogs wrapped in tortillas and deep fried. It was tasty (after adding salt and lime juice), but really dry. And I assumed there would be cheese, but there wasn't. They provide four hot sauces when you order tacos, along with fresh cucumbers, radish slices, and limes. I can handle about a medium heat, and unfortunately ALL four hot sauces were way too hot for me to eat.
I've been a few times. But today, I picked up tacos for someone else. It was a hit. The wait time was longer today than usual. They have a vegetarian taco. It's a small, intimate restaurant. I've never dined in, just to go orders. They usually have a taco special during the week.
I've driven past Super Tacos on Michigan Rd. while commuting on 421 and finally decided to give them a try. With a small window of time between commitments, I opted for takeout. I decided to sample three of their many taco options: steak, shredded chicken, and pork. All three tacos were jam-packed with meat and topped with cilantro and onions. I added some fresh cheese as well. The order also came with a red spicy salsa, a green medium salsa, and a bag of radishes and juicy limes. After just two tacos, I was quite full due to the generous amount of meat in each one. It's worth noting that there's limited space for dine-in, so keep that in mind. I observed the dine-in guests receiving a flight of four salsas and chips. I look forward to returning to try other items!
Ordered 2 steak tacos to go and picked out the sale fruit ( 2 days old). For $3 fruit was decent. Most of the mango was no good next day. The tacos were good but I didn't realize they didn't have the other toppings (Supreme). Also if you order there they give you 4 different sauces. One of the reasons I wanted to try them. Well when you get it to go you only get 1. Anyway they were filling and good.
This place is amazing. It's a small restaurant, but don't let the size fool ya. My hubby had a chicken burrito w/fries, and I had the super taco and taco alambre (w-steak). The food was so fresh and delicious. I hate that this place is on the opposite side of town from My residence. That could be a good thing, lol. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. Everyone followed the Covid guidelines and the restaurant was sparkling clean. I gave 4 stars due to the long wait time. There was only one family ahead of us and we waited for over 45 mins for our food. Other than the wait time, everything else was superb.

The restaurant is in a little strip mall that caters to Latin American businesses. The dining room is small but tidy. Daily specials are listed on a board. A friendly server took our order and I opted for the lunch fajitas for $7.99. They brought us out a small tray of four different sauces to try. The meals came out fairly quickly - piping hot and look delicious. My lunch came with rice and beans. The mix of chicken and fried peppers with onions. Portions were generous for lunch - I couldn't finish. My meal was delicious. They had a sign up featuring dollar tacos on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I can't stop thinking about going back for those. The table next to us had the tacos and they looked delicious. There is parking in a shared lot. Limited tables inside (maybe 10) but they do a robust carry out service too. I can't wait to return. Hopefully soon.
I'm not sure what took me so long to get here. I work in the area and I had heard about it. But it wasn't until a few coworkers wanted to go to taco Tuesday did I Finally take the plunge. They offer three main tacos for the $1 taco Tuesday (a steak if you ask me!) we went in right at lunch and had no wait. It's counter service so go to the front and place your order. There are menus available there. I didn't look at the menu as I was opting to go for the $1 tacos but I saw a variety of options available. I got two tacos which was plenty for me and I loaded them up with the sauces that are served with the tacos. There are four of them. I found the green one to be my favorite. I cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu offerings.
This is the place to go for real authentic street-style tacos (and tortas). Prices are about what you would expect and the taco sauces are made in house and are spicy.
I had dri en by this place dozens of times over the past few years and never stopped and now I wish I had stopped in more often! 4 stars because when. I walked in there was no one e there to greet me and I stood there for about a minute before anyone came out from the back. The food, however, was dynamite! Very soon after order my tacos the waitress brought out salsa flight with a small plate of cucumbers, radish, and limes. The sauces were fresh made and full of spice and flavor and they accompanied the tacos magnificently! I had 1 chorizo, 1 chicharron, 1 Hawaii, and 1 pastor taco. All of then were packed full of meat and a good splash of onions and cilantro. They came out in about 5 mins, hot and packed full of flavor. I highly recommend this taco joint!

Stop here to be greedy! I had already ordered a fish meal from next door when I saw people going in and out of here. I saw one lady and her daughter eating their food and they were nodding there heads and I nodded mine too like the food was good. I didn't even have a taco. My sister and I went in there quickly and ordered a couple of tacos. I ordered a shrimp taco and a veggie taco and they were both good and tasted fresh. Yes, I ate two tacos and a fish meal. Judge me please. LOL They have a small dining room and you can also get a to go order. Go check them out!! read more
I ordered the Taco Asada, full of steak but I do wish their onions were not as thinly chopped, not enough cilantro! I only got two lime slices for four tacos and the limes weren't very juicy either. The radishes were plenty but only two slices of cucumbers. The steak was seasoned and the tortillas were good! read more

It's a 5 star place. Tucked in a strip mall , its a small hidden gem with authentic Mexican cuisine.Pleasecdon't expect fancy ambiance or fine dining service . Taco comes with three different salsa 'Sauce and they are from mild to really hot. Tortas and Sope are less known Mexican food but they serve them. They also have Mexican drink and beers. You can easily find parking. read more

Before my friends and I went inside the restaurant, we noticed a sign on the door that requires everyone to wear masks inside the restaurant, which was reassuring to see. As we walked in to order at the register, we noticed that the small restaurant was fairly busy -- which is always a good sign to me. There were many groups conversing and eating, which made me excited to try this place out. We all ordered a variety of foods: chips and guacamole, tacos, burritos, quesadillas and sopes. Personally, I ordered a grilled chicken taco, a sope and a Mexican Coke. Grilled chicken tacos have always been my go-to at Mexican restaurants, so I would be remiss to not order it here. My mom's sopes have always been one of my favorite home cooked meals as I was growing up, so I mainly ordered one to get a taste of my childhood again. Sopes are a traditional Mexican dish with a fried masa base, which is basically like a thick, corn tortilla with a border around the edges to keep all the ingredients from falling out. Super Tacos include beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream on their sopes -- just like my mom's. As for the Mexican Coke, it would be a crime to not get one at a Mexican restaurant. All of our food was out in no time, which was surprising considering how busy the restaurant was. Along with our food, the server brought out a platter of 4 different salsas, limes and radishes to top off on our dishes. Each sauce had a different level of spice, so a lot of us agreed that the salsa platter was a great touch for our large group. I immediately went for the spiciest salsa and a lime to add on my taco and sope, which was a great decision on my part. The food was just like your classic Mexican venture at Luciana's, La Piedad or your local Mexican restaurant in your hometown. The tacos were doubled tortilla-d up and topped with fresh cut onion and cilantro, and the sope had all the ingredients I was expecting. It was the atmosphere, however, that made Super Tacos unique from your typical Mexican restaurant. It was the tile flooring, small yet homey space and the Mexican candies available for purchase at the register that really tied the restaurant together. There were no colorful decorations on the walls, and the dining tables and chairs were as simple as could be. These distinguishing features are truly what sold the authenticity of Super Tacos for me. Our food was eaten almost immediately, and we all agreed that this restaurant was a great choice. I was partially upset at myself for getting full so quickly because I wanted more. It had been a while since I had Mexican food, so Super Tacos did a great job at fulfilling my wishes for a good Mexican meal. As we left the restaurant, we kept raving about how great our visit was. read more
No lies told...the tacos were Super! Kept it basic with chicken and steak plus a side of Guacamole. The tacos were served with a generous portion of meat and cilantro. It was just the right texture without being too greasy. So glad I got the guacamole! It was chunky and fresh (again with plenty of cilantro). I didn't even mind all the raw onions because it was delicious. Special shout out to the tortilla chips. Im so picky about my chips I almost always decline them but these were awesome. Perfect thickness and seasoning. I ordered carry out and I didn't call ahead but the wait was very short and there was plenty of spaced out seating to hang out while I waited in my order. The dining area is nice and cozy so I look forward to eating in sometime soon. read more

The absolute BEST tacos in Indy!! Great selection and tacos come with limes and cucumbers and various garnishes and salsas. The prices are reasonable and the patrons are all loyal to the establishment. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while so finally ventured that way. I went in to get takeout and went with three chorizo tacos, as well as an order of chips and salsa. Took a little under 15 minutes to get it. Was so excited about my meal that I ate it in the car! My order came with two salsas. The salsa verde (green salsa) was awesome and went perfectly with my chorizo tacos. The red salsa was a little too spicy for me. My tacos were delicious. Nothing fancy...chorizo, cilantro, and onion (just the way I like it). It had a TON of chorizo. Squeezed a little lime and put on a little salsa verde and it was amazing. The chips were salty and fresh. The salsa is a mild one and honestly, one of the better salsas I've had in a very long time. So why 4 stars? Well, for the chips and salsa, they're in a to-go container...the kind with a part where your entree goes and then two compartments for sides. Well, the chips were in the "entree" part. But then the salsa was literally just poured into the "side" compartments. Keep in mind I only walked about 20 feet with my bag since I ate in the car. But when I opened up that container, salsa was EVERYWHERE. In my bag, on the chips. It was a huge mess. Putting the salsa in its own container would easily take my rating up for five stars!!! read more
I loved Super Tacos! On Tuesday & Wednesday you can get specific types of tacos for just $1. The tacos are yummy and loaded with cilantro if you love cilantro, you can request plain too. My favorite part is the tray of choose your own salsas! read more

TACOS! Located in the former home of El Rey Del Taco (the strip mall's signage still says El Rey, but the storefront says Super Tacos), Super Tacos is an excellent addition to Indy's taco scene. Brush off your high school Spanish, because there is a bit of a language barrier. But if you're just sticking with tacos, the meat is in both Spanish and English. So a simple "dos" whatever will do just fine. Now onto the taco. Your basic tacos come with a choice of meat and onions on corn (yes!) tortilla. A mild (green) and spicy (red/orange) sauce are provided. I was in at 11am and may well have been their first customer. The meat I ordered was freshly prepared so it was not dry like it is as if the meat was sitting under a heat lamp waiting for the next order. Bonus points for using a real plate. There is no soda fountain so bring your own bottle of water or pay for your bottle/can there. The same products you find in most Hispanic markets and other taco places are found here. Get out here and support this business before another unassuming taco joint takes its place! read more

Fire! These are some good little authentic tacos. They have weekday specials for $1 tacos too! I got Asada and shredded chicken. The sauces were good as well, red gave it the perfect kick if you like spicy food! Only gave it 4 s because they don't serve carnitas read more

Super tacos is thee spot for authentic delicious tacos. I personally don't mind the basic onion and cilantro street tacos but I really am a self proclaimed toppings girl so I went with the supreme street tacos! I got 4 in total (1 chicken, 1 steak, 1 chorizo, and 1 pastor) with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese, and sour cream. I was so sad when I finished my tacos because they were sooo good. My only complaint would be the chorizo was really dry and should probably be made fresh throughout the day. My wait time wasn't bad at all but I believe you can call ahead to avoid wait times. Highly recommend stopping by and trying any of their tasty menu items, next time I'll be trying the flan! read more
Getting carry-out again cos the tacos are so delicious and the service is always wonderful. Picture is from before the stay at home order, back when we could dine-in. Our order is usually two tacos asados, one Hawaiian, and one lengua. You should really try the lengua taco. I grew up eating lengua and it never tasted this good!! This family business is amazing! First time eating here, I was hoping that because of the good reviews that I wouldn't be disappointed but I was. Highly overrated! We got 4 tacos de carne molida (ground beef), kids chicken tenders and flautas de pollo. The flautas were decent. I added some of their green salsa. It gave it more flavor since the chicken was flavorless. The cheese on there was all stick together like paste and just seemed off.I only ate 2/4. The kids chicken tenders... well my daughter took 2 bites and didn't even look back at it. The tacos were also flavorless and they just dumped a whole bunch of meat on there. Was honestly the most disappointing out of everything. Also, tried to get a taste of their horchata before I buy it and they didn't allow it. Which is weird because every other place that has agua Fresca allows a taste before bought. Glad I didn't buy it though because if the food tasted like this I can just imagine how disappointing that would've been. & $3.50 for a jarritos???? I can get that at Walmart for $1. Really ridiculous. Didn't get that.! Just for these 3 meals, nothing extra, it was $38 & they also charge a service fee. I'll never eat here again. Disappointing. The food trucks at night are better than this place. read more

Want cheap but authentic tacos? Want quick service with no hassle for parking space? Look no further! Super Tacos has $1 taco special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for grilled chicken and shredded chicken. Even otherwise, their tacos are only $2.50. Their al pastor tacos and shredded chicken tacos are delicious, they are very fillings thanks to them not being stingy with the meat, onion and cilantro! They also bring a complimentary salsa sampler to your table with tacos. There is an international grocery store next door too if u want to take some stuff home! Lots of parking and some Spanish tv in the background (sometimes very loud to have a conversation). read more

To say I like tacos would be a vast understatement. I am slightly obsessed with tacos and when I find a place with good steak taco, I become a loyal customer. Which leads me to super taco. It's right by my house, but at an intersection that has 3 other great Mexican restaurants. It is also kind of tucked away in a strip mall so you have to be looking to find it. So the food. I've been multiple times at this point. I love the steak tacos. The steak is seasoned to perfection and grilled so there's a few crispy bits of meat (my favorite part). The guac is made to order and they don't skimp. Everything is served with 4 salsa options- the hot habeñero, mild cilantro, the "red sauce", and the tomatillo. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have specials for taco Tuesday. Check them out. read more

So I don't know why this place doesn't have more 5 star reviews??? It's an awesome little place and they have real el pastor tacos! That's the staple I judge by and they aced it! If you haven't had them l, they're pork tacos and is made like a Mexican Gyro (when dons right they are the best and they do it right!) Since I never believe they will be done right, I also had the steak and chorizo tacos. All were delicious and for $2.50 wach, you can't beat that with a stick! Highly recommend for taco cravings! You guys are really missing out on this gem. I come here at least twice a week now. read more
We ordered 10 steak & chicken tacos for my friends baby shower & they were amazing!!! Everyone was so impressed about how fresh & authentic they were. The guacamole was so creamy and rich. The customer service was phenomenal! We will definitely be back! read more
