y'all weren't going to tell me about this place or what? i think it's new : never noticed it in my taco searches, never heard of it, & it looked/felt newish. the employee working was new lol. she was nice and made sure she had my order exact, i appreciated it because getting onions when you hate onions is a day ruiner. they've got all the authentic usuals tacos, burritos, horchato, canned guava nectar and also chicken fingers and fries? i didn't read enough to see if that's a regular item or special. it was clean inside! lots of tables to sit and eat at although this is more of a quick grab, lunch, to-go place, imo. there's a few other businesses in the plaza, plenty of parking right in front of the door. i ordered two carne asada with cilantro & cheese they were good!.. you can add cheese, tomato, lettuce, and sour cream for .50 each. my total was just under $8. food was quickly prepared & fresh.

This definitely my numero uno taco spot! The staff is super friendly and the service has always been speedy! I was told it would be 7-10mins and I'm oretty sure I was outta there in 5 mins this trip. Prices are reasonable and the tacos are loaded with meat! I have never had a meal I didn't like out of here. The burrito and tortas are extremely filling and packed full of goodness as well. I highly recommend!

The food and service was great. We got flautas de pollo, side of chips, and queso con chorizo. The horchata was delicious too.

Pretty good ,decent time frame. They were down the street from my job. Big tacos, I will be back to try the rest of the menu. They do close at 10pm on weekends and like 8 or 9pm on weekdays.

Been itching like most to get back out...was over in speedway and the plethora of authentic mexican joints...Tamale, Gils, Tacos 46, Torta el.....thought I'd give Wichos a try...pastor was standard and tasty, Alambre ia a curious mix of meats including "hot diggity dogs"...noy my personal fav but decent....chorizo also tasty....sauces were decent....i will be back to try a few other items. These are not small tacos by any means....Pambazos..

I decided to give this place a try. Every time I drive to Kroger or TJ Maxx, I pass by this restaurant. It was surprisingly good! The tacos and salsa were delicious! I order one taco de carnitas, one chorizo, and carne asada. I liked them all. At first I felt a bit odd with the chorizo. I thought it was a beef tacos but upon eating it realized in was chorizo. The salsa were delicious. It was a good blend of hot and somewhat mild heat. The staff were incredibly nice. While I interacted with them in Spanish, the cashier understands English. My food was prepared in less than 15 minutes, but then again I went around 8pm for a late dinner. The restaurant is quite spacious. Their prices are reasonable. There's free parking outside. Order at the front and they will deliver your food at your table. I didn't see any vegetarian options, but that's due to just focusing on my taco cravings. Highly recommend this place

Great tacos and nice staff! Glad we found this great spot in Indy. I've missed some of the tacos I used to have in California!

Nice clean little restaurant. Good menu selection. My only complaint is price. $3.75 for a glorified street taco seems a bit excessive.

Even with the rush, I was able to snag a seat quite quickly. I was so impressed by how efficiently the staff cleared and prepared my table; it's those little touches of attentiveness that really make a difference. I decided to keep things classic and ordered the Asada Tacos. The service was remarkably swift my order arrived in under ten minutes, which is exactly the kind of efficiency I adore. While the initial presentation was a bit more understated than I anticipated, the flavor was a total 8/10 triumph! The staff was also incredibly accommodating when it came to my preferences; they brought over a lovely selection of chips and sauces, but were perfectly gracious when I mentioned I prefer to avoid the heat. These are truly some of the best tacos I've had the pleasure of trying lately. I will most certainly be a regular here!

You have to buy a basket of chips, but it's very inexpensive and so worth it for the salsa bar! Lastly, the Al pastor is the bomb. The tacos (your choice of protein) were $1.49 each. I was honestly surprised that they had plenty of onions, cilantro, two different sauces & a baggie of radishes & limes for that price. I will say, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the shredded chicken although clearly seasoned (color wise) with sazon, it was dried completely out with only a hint of flavor. I added the green sauce on the chicken ones and it gave it a little umph but then I tasted the amazing seasoning in the rice and beans & WOW. I put a little of both on the chicken tacos and that was just what they needed. All in all the tacos were an 8/10 and the rice+beans were 10/10. The rice was cooked perfectly & the best compliment to the soupy beans. Parking: TERRIBLY positioned & shared lot, spots are tight & all the businesses stay with a crowd. Service: the cashier wasn't unpleasant BUT I had every intention on sitting down and eating inside (they have about 8 tables and 4 small booths) but she assumed I wanted it to-go without asking me as she asked the family of Spanish/hispanic/latino/a heritage before AND after me. In the moment I didn't feel slighted because I think I was just so tired & hangry but it definitely is memorable now that I'm writing the review a day later. I could have very well corrected her and said I wanted to dine in but I'm not one to force it when I feel unwanted or unwelcomed . This by no means discredits the food, it was wonderful & so was the price. I wouldn't go as far as to say I'll never be back because it would be a lie - what I WILL do moving forward is speak up for myself as it could have been done unintentionally.

We opted for the 2 can dine for 20$ deal. They don't normally have street tacos so wanted to give them a try. The steak was chopped up which was nice and had lots of flavor The pork was absolutely delicious and juicy The shredded beef was ok but lacked flavor and was greasy Rice was terrible and lacked flavor Bean were amazing as usual The tacos needed more onion and cilantro Keep in mind they are small and could use a bit more meat on them In addition we ordered the green chili queso and chips. The queso had a nice bit of heat to it and was creamy and had guacamole in it We also shared the taco of the month which is the Tokyo Drift. It was hands down the best taco they have. As we moved to the bar to wait for our food, the bartender informed us that he had put away the rim device to salt our glasses. We had already paid, so what were we to do. We said, "ok." Then we questioned what time they closed. We doubled checked, 9:30. It was only 8:30. I don't prefer a margarita without salt but felt stuck. Also, it wasn't as if we were the last ones to come in. I counted at least 6 parties that came in after us. The chorizo queso was excellent. The tacos were decent. However, while it may seem like a small thing, the lack of salt on the rim of my $12 margarita really sunk this place for me. I've never bartended, but I don't feel like it's a lot of work to salt a rim. Even if the stuff was put away (an hour early).

The restaurant is sleek and has a cool vibe, but we immediately realized it was not going to be what we thought of when we saw "street tacos" mentioned during Google search. It's more of a metropolitan American Soul fusion place, with a heavy emphasis on loaded, uniquely flavored tacos instead of traditional Mexicana. The server was wonderful in explaining their menu and gave multiple recommendations, which I went with all of her great suggestions once I told her what I was craving. My husband didn't enjoy his appetizer, saying it tasted too sweet instead of savory for him, but the server was great at being aware of our plates and took the appetizer off our bill when she noticed he wasn't eating it without us even mentioning it. I got three different tacos, and the only one I didn't enjoy was due to the Mac n cheese that was stuffed in it. It just didn't taste or feel right having a taco with macaroni that was pushed in so densely that it became a sponge. The other two were great! My husband gave his burrito a 3/5, as he felt it was too much one note. Overall, don't come here if you're looking for upscale Mexicana, but instead want to enjoy interesting fusion flavors and fun cocktails. Great place for a group outing or celebration!

I don't usually shop at a Mexican grocery unless I am looking for cotija cheese for making elote. However, I entered the grocery because the sign in front of the restaurant entrance said it was closed. I clearly saw people working at the food counter and a customer standing there, so I went through the grocery to see what was going on. Apparently, nobody had removed the sign and left a "caution" cone blocking the door. Anyway, after the weird start, I enjoyed my experience. The colorful dining room has lots of festival streamers hanging from the ceiling and loud Mexican music playing. (Note that the grocery has an equally loud sound system playing something completely different so you get a weird stereo effect that is hard to tune out.) The dining booths go about half way back into the restaurant on both sides. Beyond the left side is a cooking area with a large menu posted over the top. Even though there is a counter at the cooking area, you don't order there. Behind you on the right near the back of the restaurant is a smaller counter with a cash register and a menu booklet that you order from. Once you place your order and pay, you wait and they will bring it out to you. Note that any beverages are sold in bottle form and are self-serve from the cooler next to the order counter. The wait was fairly short considering they prepare the entrees to order. I went with a couple tacos (with the cilantro and white onion) and ordered rice and beans. Apparently the cashier had a little trouble understanding me when I ordered the Asada and Pollo tacos. I was brought out the Asada and Lomo instead. (I was the only customer at the time.) But, instead of sending it back, I like pork loin as well as chicken, so I simply added some green sauce (mild) and a few drops of red (supposed to be hot, but I didn't think it was that hot.) The tacos were excellent. They were served on double layered corn tortillas. I usually prefer flour, but wasn't given an option here. These were the best tasting corn tortilla shells I've had. And the ingredients inside were delicious with the added items being colorfully fresh. The side of beans and rice were forgettable. Not bad, just lacking much texture and flavor. Very bland and not much other than filler when compared to the robust flavor of the tacos. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pretty clean looking, so given the high quality of flavor, I would recommend stopping by to quench your Mexican food cravings. Review #2698

I knew that I liked the food, and I have previously enjoyed the atmosphere at their Carmel location, so I felt that it was a safe choice. I wasn't thrilled about that, at first, but several larger groups were seated in the same area near the entrance. The booth was spacious and comfortable, and the decor is very bright and vibrant. I ordered the Marg of the Month for May, which was the Bee Sting Margarita. It is made with jalapeno honey and lots of slices of fresh jalapeno. Between those aspects and the bite of the tequila...I quickly understood why it was given that name! If you like a spicy marg, I would definitely suggest! I also ordered the Chips & Salsa Flight for the table. I chose the Roasted Red and Chile de Arbol salsas, along with the guac and queso. I loved all of the dips...except the chile de arbol. It was just spicy...and nothing else. No flavor other than hot. LOL For our entrees, I ordered the Steak Fajitas. I probably could've fed the entire family with the portion that I received. It's Tuesday and I'm still working on it! The steak, peppers and onions were flavorful and tender and it came with all of the pertinent toppings (shredded cheese, lettuce, and pico de gallo). I also requested sour cream on the side. It was served with a side of beans and rice as well. My cousin ordered the Chicken Tinga Enchiladas and quipped that she would've liked "more tinga on her chicken". She didn't eat it all or take the leftovers home, so I'm not sure that I'd suggest that dish.
