Food was good but the tacos, while full were very small. Fairly long wait for carry out.

Indy tacos is def a gem I hit up now and then but it's not THE best tacos. But if you want something quick it's not a bad option. I don't have anything negative about the food, but I also don't have anything EARTH SHATTERING either which gives the 3 star. Again, not bad but just good option for quick food. I got the al pastor taco, shrimp taco and side of rice and refried beans. Chips n salsa are extra, but again doesn't effect my review. I love a simple tradition taco with just the marinated/season meat and topped with onion and cilantro. Nothing fancy and nothing jammed onto it. If the place is good they season properly and you don't need toppings overkill. The rice and refried beans were bland but again came mainly for the tacos. Overall the Al pastor wasn't bad had some good flavor and the shrimp taco was fine. Interesting to put rice in there and queso. Would be fine with just onion and cilantro on my shrimp taco, but both tacos were adequate in satisfying my hunger. I added then some mild salsa to the tacos and rice (rice for some sort of flavor). Overall, this place is nice if you're in a hurry and want to mix it into your restaurant rotation but isn't jammed with flavor.

Extremely welcoming and homey environment. The two people who served us were absolutely lovely and kind, personable. It made fora great experience. It's a very cute little gem in Bripp. As for food- I recommend sticking to the tacos or possibly the burrito. The corn tortillas were great and their chicken tacos were flavorful and juicy, especially the mole sauce chicken taco. It was rich and tasty. I also really enjoyed the fresh ingredients on top. The steak burrito is huge and covered in queso and delicious. I would skip the chips here since they are not homemade but the salsa was tasty. I would also skip the rice and refried beans- they just weren't my favorite. Overall if you are craving some corn tortilla tacos this little gem in broad ripple is great! I would stick to that portion of the menu though.

Chori fries, queso and Al pastor tacos

My neighbors have been singing the praises of chori fries for awhile now.... Imagine crispy fries, drizzled with queso, then topped with crumbled chorizo, tomato, onion and cilantro. Oh. My. Goodness. So delicious, sorta like a Mexican poutine. One order was plenty for my teen son and I to split. And at $5, I'd come back here just for that! We also got two steak tacos and two al pastor tacos, and some extra queso. Because you can never have too much cheese. We both preferred the pork tacos; the steak was a little dry. A splash of the mild tomatillo sauce and a drizzle of queso to the rescue! Very reasonable prices - our total bill was just $25 pre tip. I was tempted to order the tamales special.... next time. Also happy to see we can get Indy Tacos delivered via DoorDash!

Amazing! Tasty and very filling. Have been here many times and it's always the best. They even brought the food out to our car! Love this place

Wow wow wow, what a great dining experience. Such great service and our waitress was a sweetheart! We have been coming here for years and its the best. The jalepeno tacos were spicier than normal (i love it, my boyfriend is spice sensitive). The tres leches cake needs to be permanent on the menu, i could see this being a huge HIT. The restaurant is quieter than most, i also think they should play some music to uplift the vibes!

Tried this little hidden gem near Broad Ripple. I was greeted by warm faces at the door and was sat immediately. They had a few daily specials and I saw the mango chicken tacos 2/6.00. They were Bomb. Loved they had fajita onions on them so flavorful! Also orders a side of queso with chips. I'm picky about my chips. I don't like them super crisp. These chips were perfect! I will be back to try other menu items.

My husband was craving authentic tacos so I was on the hunt for a place nearby. After reading other reviews, we gave Indy Tacos a chance! I want to start it saying that the service we had today was incredible. It was slow inside, we were the only customers, but our waiter was extremely helpful and kind to us. Our tacos were good, my personal favorite was the al pastor taco. Everything was reasonably priced, we would definitely come back.

Nice taco spot off the beaten path, a hidden gem. The restaurant is quite small but we were able to grab a table around lunch time on a Saturday. Staff was super friendly and food came out fast. You have to pay for chips and salsa which is never ideal at a Mexican restaurant, however the salsa was so fresh and tasty it was worth it. I loved my chicken and pork tacos and my husband said his burrito was amazing, one of the best he's had. Prices were a little high...$6 for a tecate, $10 for a burrito (with no side)...but overall great experience. I'd definitely go back.

Pretty good tacos. I ordered shrimp tacos and fish tacos. Unfortunately I did not get a pic of the food. When I ordered I said cilantro and onion. I guess there was a language barrier because I got tacos with all the stuff they put in their tacos and got charged for for cilantro and onion. It was what it was at that point. The tacos were pretty good though. The green sauce was decent too. Before leaving out I asked for another green sauce which was given to me but I felt the little attitude about it. Overall decent place, ill just be more aware of the up-charges.

I've driven by this place so often, can't believe I hadn't ever stopped here until today. I checked out some reviews and decided to give it a try. I had thought it looked like an "order at the counter" place so I was a little surprised when a server invited me to sit wherever I would like, and then she came to my table with a menu. I took a quick look and then ordered a couple of veggie tacos, chips, and a side of beans. Service was quick, and the employees were extremely friendly. My tacos were solid authentic tacos and the red sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The chips were a little different, a little thicker than I prefer but they were ok with the addition of the red sauce. The restaurant was very clean and brightly decorated. A convenient location for sure. They seem to do a lot of carry out business as quite a few customers came in to pick up orders while I was there.

    Chicken burrito, chips and guacamole

This is my go to spot for quick tacos and burritos. This time I changed it up and orders the chicken burrito with a side of chips and guacamole. It was no wait at all and my server Chris took care of me super quickly. The service was efficient and nice. It's a nice casual spot for a small group or if you want to be by yourself. It had a slight smell in the entrance that was a little hard to ignore, but of the handful of times I've been here, this was the first time I ever experienced it.

Always such fast service here! I love that I can drop in and place an order for lunch, and be home with the order in about 20 minutes. It would be quicker if I called ahead, but waiting for takeout usually is only about 5 minutes. You order at a counter when you walk in and can dine in or get takeout. They offer margs and beer for in house dining too. The queso is absolutely delicious. It's rich, creamy and everything you've ever dreamed. The chips may not be homemade but tasty nonetheless. The al pastor tacos are delicious and I also really like the burritos. The burritos come with beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, onion inside. If you're not huge on refried beans skip that since the usually come with a lot in them. Rave reviews about the hot sauce too. It's spicy and hot enough but not overwhelming. Quick mexican that is always up to par.

Could use more flavor but enjoyable. The steak and chicken are tasty just wish there was more bolder flavor.

I have not spent much time in the Eastside of Indianapolis other than Irvington. Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10. This is a great local business in the area to support: offers a diverse menu of options with food that is comforting and tasty.
