Steak Burrito and Al Pastor Tacos
    Corey S.

This is an incredible hole in the wall place, please do not let the location deter you! The prices are incredible and the food is even better. The tacos are traditional street tacos, just like you would find in any good taqueria in Texas, and the burritos are extremely flavor full and giant (pro tip, get is covered in queso)! Please check this place out if you're look for some great tacos or Mexican food in general. A couple tips: 1.) you do have to order in the store area (to the left when you walk in) and not at the kitchen window that's right when you walk in, 2.) they only accept credit cards if you're order is more than $8, otherwise cash only, 3.) They have a great lunch special for around $8 that has 5 different entree options to choose from and comes with rice and beans; my favorite is the 2 tacos and I suggest al pastor!

Wow I've never been more pleasantly surprised by how incredible a restaurant is. I had my doubts as it is attached to a gas station, but the food is absolutely delicious. It was so good that my husband went back the same week for lunch! Highly recommend the ground beef, chicken, and marinated pork tacos!

Taco Wednesday's here! It's inside a grocery but two separate sides. Food takes a little longer to come out since the place gets busy from people order a lot of tacos. Cheap and authentic tacos. The sauces are legit!

Best tacos in the downtown area, hands down.

Today is #NationalTacoDay so of course you know I had to get tacos for dinner! I tried this place for the first time today and I will most definitely be back. I ordered takeout for 6 steak tacos, 2 sides of rice, 2 sides of beans and paid $21. Not too bad for 2 meals, not to mention the rice and beans were packed full. The tacos were smaller than I had expected, but they made up for it by including avocado along with grilled onions for no additional charge. The place was clean, the staff was very friendly and quick with my order which always makes my first-time experience much better. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican place that isn't overpriced, I recommend you go here. Like I said I will be back again and I can't wait to try something new!

It's a gas station. It's a grocery store. It's a casual Mexican restaurant. "It" serves very fresh and chunky guac and salsa (very pico de gallo-ish). It is located in a spot you would often miss and drive by. It's budget-friendly. Expect to pay around $2 per taco. Skip the chicken tacos- they're very bland. It's home to the most charming and warm mini alter (see: glowing candles and Mary in the back of the restaurant section).

This place offers taco Wednesday! Authentic tacos basically homemade! Every time we are in Indianapolis, we tend to schedule in the middle of the week including wed so we can make it here! Is it worth it? Try it and let me know because it was worth it for us!

L: Steak (Asada). R: Spicy Pork (Al Pastor). Both delicious

This unique Mexican dining experience is definitely worth it for the price and the flavors. You order over in the grocery store, take your ticket to the window in the "restaurant", pick your food up from the window, sit down and eat it, then pay back in the grocery store. But don't worry, it's all connected. Staff was friendly, service was quick, tacos were flavorful, and it's cheap. They also have the really good Mexican soft drinks that are made with real sugar. YUM. All of the tacos I tried (steak, al pastor, beef) were delicious. I like that they come with different toppings depending on the type you order. Both the green and red hot sauces are great! I wouldn't order the guacamole again - it's more expensive and I didn't think it tasted very good, it was sort of bland.

I really like the chicken quesadillas! Queso and salsa are really good. You should give them a try.

Having lived in the American Southwest, I can tell the designer spared no detail. It holds true to that desert aesthetic while oozing intimacy through low lighting and cozy seating. It's the perfect spot if you're looking for a "mood." The Food Breakdown: * Chips & Guac (5/5 ): Fresh, flavorful, and a must-order. * Salsa Trio (2/5 ): This was a miss for us. We only liked one of the three, so I'd skip the trio next time. * Smoked Brisket & Scallops (3/5 ): A bit of a toss-up. My friend wasn't a fan, but I found the brisket quite tasty and tender. * Birria Short Ribs (3.75/5 ): The flavor was delightful, but the texture was inconsistent. I order short rib specifically for that unctuous, silky, gelatinous breakdown. Half of the portion hit that mark perfectly, but the other half felt more like a standard pot roast. The rest of the dish was satisfyingly tasty! Service & Logistics: Our server was amazing! I wish I'd caught her name, but she was attentive and seamless. (I'm pretty sure it was Taylor.) Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order.
